I new in "rooting phone", I rooted my phone LG OPTIMUS LTE SU640, but not now the problem is that I cant boot in recovery mode or DL mode, when I try it shows:

I have an Optimus Vu 2 (F200K), which I rooted via the universal 4.1.2 method found in the XDA Developers forums. After downloading an update, I experienced an error, after which the phone is stuck in a bootloop showing Security error. The specs of the Vu 2 are:
1. 1024*768 [4:3] 5" screen.
2. 2 GB RAM
3. 1.5 GHz Dual-Core Krait CPU
4. Adreno 225 GPU
5. Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo I was having a problem with my Optimus V (Virginmobile) and I couldn't send or receive texts. I did a factory restart thinking it would work but then found myself at the recovery menu. When I try to flash xionia_cwma_12518.6.zip it says E:cant find update script. When I try and flash CM7.2RC1_VM670-BobZhome-052012 it installs and when I reboot i get taken back to the recovery menu.
In short; My Virgin Mobile Optimus V is stuck in a recovery loop that I am unable to get out of due to an error while trying to flash ROMs/ Custom Recovery.
The error reads at the end of all attempts: E: Can't find update script.
While Android is booting up, one of the application is throwing following error message. My work is setting up a secure webpage and we are expected to be able to access it 24/7 to log alerts received when there are server errors at work. To access this secure webpage we were given two certificates, one for windows (home use) and one for mobile ( a .p12 file which I've read is compatible). I cannot access the webpage via Android browser or chrome browser (or any other 3rd party browser). I've imported the certificate using the import feature in Settings->Security and it showed a brief notification that the import was successful. However, the certificate isn't listed in the "User" section of the trusted credentials list. Now, I would suspect that the certificate wasn't made correctly, but the same exact one works on a co-workers iPhone (pains me to say that). I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, rooted, but otherwise stock.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI have a verizon samsung galaxy s3. I'm planning to upgrade to the kitkat 4.4 but I was going to do a nandroid backup first. Using rom manager I am attempting to go into recovery mode but everytime I try I get this message:
System software not authorized by Verizon Wireless has been found on your phone. Please turn off your phone and go to the nearest Verizon Wireless store for support.
I disabled the knox sensor and then totally removed it and it's components. I don't know what else to try.
Does enabling a lock screen password do ANYTHING to protect the device from threats? Other than someone with physical access, obviously. Would it make installing malware or exploiting a security flaw any more difficult? Assume the device in question is not rooted, if that makes any difference.

As far as I know I have to get it to S-OFF before I can use recovery to flash it, but I tried revolutionary and seems like it require the phone in a working state to function. Currently when I run revolutionary with usb connected on HBOOT-1.49.0008 menu revolutionary won't connect. I don't have CWM either and I don't know how to get it onto the phone without Market Place and S-ON.
Is there anyway to get it to S-OFF so I can move forward to fix my phone with any working rom? Fastboot is connecting no problem (at HBOOT menu) but I don't know if it allows me to flash or turn it to S-OFF.
I have samsung galaxy ace s 5830. I had tried to flash cyanogenmod from recovery mode. I downloaded cm-7.2.0-cooper.zip file. and selected the same in recovery mode. But after successfully installation when I am booting the phone only A N D R O I D letters appears on my screen and my phone does nothing after that. I have also tried removing the battery 2/ 3 times.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a HTC Desire V running stock android 4.0.4 ICS. I had not rooted my device or flashed any ROM or any custom recovery or what not. Now, the issue. It all began a month ago when my phone started rebooting itself at frequent intervals, even when I was not using it. At first, it would reboot every 10-12 hours and that did not bother me, so I ignored it. After some time the intervals shortened and the phone used to reboot every 5 hours or so. I tried removing the external sd card, but that did not solve the problem. Then, after some days, it became more intense and the phone started rebooting every hour. At last, 2 days ago, it just turned off and now it is refusing to turn on. Nothing at all happens when I hold the power button or try to charge it. Nothing appears on the screen. I tried removing and reinserting my battery after some time, I tried removing both sim cards(the memory card was already removed) but to no avail.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had this issue with Nexus 7 rooted stock ROM 4.1.2 and 4.2 using TWRP 2.3.2.1.
Earlier I had gotten a TWRP version to save to a USB-OTG but then I had some problems with root and I re-rooted the device. Then I got error message trying to use TWRP. I upgraded to 4.2 and problem persisted.
Running stock ROM 4.2 on rooted Nexus 7.

Using Ghost Commander, I go to /data but the folder does not open. I can go to /sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS/hash/hash/date and that folder does open, but it is empty.
well i rooted my phone with the htc-dev boot unlocker and then used Revolutionary: S-OFF & Recovery Tool 0.4pre4 to s-off my phone, after installing the latest firmware now after booting my phone i cant get a signal and each time i try to register on a network my phone just comes up with an error so i have no signal at all,

Not booting & stuck on Reliance welcome screen. I have not installed any apps in recent time neither did any sorts of tweaking.
I have a Jiayu G3 that won't boot in Android and apparently not in CWM either. I kinda did a lot of "upgrades", here it goes (I just wanted to upgrade it to Jelly Bean).
I originally had 4.0.3 (stock/unrooted) then I rooted it using Binr4y's root method. Then I "installed Jelly Bean" from this video and then it started a boot loop then went on and on so I tried another rom and found this one RAW MOD B3, this one didn't worked either still looped on and on, so I tried finding a fix and came up with this Lewa Recovery 2.0 for JIAYU G3 so I flashed Lewa Recovery image with CWM and now to my surprise I can't even boot to CWM anymore.
I also installed before the Lewa Recovery Flash, White Google Logo.
So now my situation is kinda like this:
- I should have RAW MOD B3.
- I can't boot into Android it loops on and on at the logo.
- I can't boot into CWM either it also loops on and on.
- I don't really know how to boot into TWRP or Lewa.
I have a nook tablet running Cyanogenmod 7.2 that I've just sold, but when I went to try to do a factory reset it asked me for the unlock pattern, which I don't ever recall setting up. I have to send the tablet to the seller by tomorrow and I cannot do a factory reset. Is there a way for me to do a factory reset before the system loads or otherwise? I would really like to avoid having to flash the rom again (I don't even have a micro sd card at hand).

recover my Xolo Q2000, i had given my cell to a friend of mine to install apps. but now it doesn't even start! when i turn it on it just shows the logo "XOLO" and then nothing happens, doesn't even boot into recovery as i tried with pressing power and both volume keys together. when i connect it to pc it just shows the battery icon, before it used to show the percentage too...
