I have a problem that some of my SMSs are getting deleted after reboot, might be due to default cache clear or something else, but I am really stucked at that,
Can I recover the deleted SMSs? I dont have any backups as well as no backup softwares,.

But the messages are showing up still in the messaging app, ( i thought i enabled only gosms) and of course, when i delete them, they get deleted in gosms too
View 5 Replies View RelatedIt does not load past the android screen despite being plugged in for several hours. I have held the power button down, tried resetting it and pressing various other combinations of buttons at the same time. I put an SD card in it.

My phone is HTC EVO 3D, and it's bricking after the ICS update from provider. It hangs on the HTC logo. I read numerous post about flashing it with update or rom, but it's now S-ON and when I try to flash from SD card in recovery it gives me :

As far as I know I have to get it to S-OFF before I can use recovery to flash it, but I tried revolutionary and seems like it require the phone in a working state to function. Currently when I run revolutionary with usb connected on HBOOT-1.49.0008 menu revolutionary won't connect. I don't have CWM either and I don't know how to get it onto the phone without Market Place and S-ON.
Is there anyway to get it to S-OFF so I can move forward to fix my phone with any working rom? Fastboot is connecting no problem (at HBOOT menu) but I don't know if it allows me to flash or turn it to S-OFF.
I have samsung galaxy ace s 5830. I had tried to flash cyanogenmod from recovery mode. I downloaded cm-7.2.0-cooper.zip file. and selected the same in recovery mode. But after successfully installation when I am booting the phone only A N D R O I D letters appears on my screen and my phone does nothing after that. I have also tried removing the battery 2/ 3 times.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a HTC Desire V running stock android 4.0.4 ICS. I had not rooted my device or flashed any ROM or any custom recovery or what not. Now, the issue. It all began a month ago when my phone started rebooting itself at frequent intervals, even when I was not using it. At first, it would reboot every 10-12 hours and that did not bother me, so I ignored it. After some time the intervals shortened and the phone used to reboot every 5 hours or so. I tried removing the external sd card, but that did not solve the problem. Then, after some days, it became more intense and the phone started rebooting every hour. At last, 2 days ago, it just turned off and now it is refusing to turn on. Nothing at all happens when I hold the power button or try to charge it. Nothing appears on the screen. I tried removing and reinserting my battery after some time, I tried removing both sim cards(the memory card was already removed) but to no avail.

I got an HTC Explorer around a month ago and quickly found out how useless it was with the miniscule amount internal storage HTC decided to provide me with. So I quickly found jaggyjags' rooting tutorial found here: http:[url]....
All went well and I was happy with the phone, until some of the apps started bloating and I went a little too far with link2sd and tried to convert the com.htc app into a user app, which ended disastrously. Pretty much every process failed or had an error, so I tried restarting the phone and found myself in a boot-loop.
I then succesfully got into HBOOT and then into recovery. So I decided to try installing jaggyjags' custom ROM. After taking out my SD card to connect to my computer and copy jaggyjags' rom to, I got back into HBOOT, but could not get into recovery anymore. All the phone did was get stuck on the HTC screen.
After leaving it on the screen to see if it would eventually make it to recovery, I discovered that the phone is now dead and won't even charge. I'm not sure if it's because the battery might be dead or some other reason.
well i rooted my phone with the htc-dev boot unlocker and then used Revolutionary: S-OFF & Recovery Tool 0.4pre4 to s-off my phone, after installing the latest firmware now after booting my phone i cant get a signal and each time i try to register on a network my phone just comes up with an error so i have no signal at all,
iv tryed every single firmware, iv tryed changing my cid to 1111111 then iv moved it back to htc__001 but that doesnt work anymore, iv also tryed a bunch of ruus to bring my phone back to stock but that doesnt work... my phone was factory unlocked so im kinda unsure on what ruu is corrent. my current hboot settings are listed..
I Rooted my Micromax Funbook Pro Using Unlockroot.
It rooted successfully, i restared so many times after rooting it was all well..but yesterday i installed clockworkmod recovery for ICS it succeeded, first time my tab booted in CWM recovery mod but no button was functioning , so i rebooted. from then my Tab is stuck on Micromax logo .. nothing happens..

Not booting & stuck on Reliance welcome screen. I have not installed any apps in recent time neither did any sorts of tweaking.
I have a Jiayu G3 that won't boot in Android and apparently not in CWM either. I kinda did a lot of "upgrades", here it goes (I just wanted to upgrade it to Jelly Bean).
I originally had 4.0.3 (stock/unrooted) then I rooted it using Binr4y's root method. Then I "installed Jelly Bean" from this video and then it started a boot loop then went on and on so I tried another rom and found this one RAW MOD B3, this one didn't worked either still looped on and on, so I tried finding a fix and came up with this Lewa Recovery 2.0 for JIAYU G3 so I flashed Lewa Recovery image with CWM and now to my surprise I can't even boot to CWM anymore.
I also installed before the Lewa Recovery Flash, White Google Logo.
So now my situation is kinda like this:
- I should have RAW MOD B3.
- I can't boot into Android it loops on and on at the logo.
- I can't boot into CWM either it also loops on and on.
- I don't really know how to boot into TWRP or Lewa.
I have a nook tablet running Cyanogenmod 7.2 that I've just sold, but when I went to try to do a factory reset it asked me for the unlock pattern, which I don't ever recall setting up. I have to send the tablet to the seller by tomorrow and I cannot do a factory reset. Is there a way for me to do a factory reset before the system loads or otherwise? I would really like to avoid having to flash the rom again (I don't even have a micro sd card at hand).

I flashed the kernel successfully with flash tool then i tried to boot my phone i just got the fusion logo forever so i had to pull the battery out many times
I said it was ok and i began to flash the new ROM maybe it would work
now the problem : my little brother :@ hit the mobile cable while flashing the system.img ( rom image )
I tried to restart the process but the phone doesn't respond and i just have the logo of fusion forever and the blue led always on .. when it boots....
after installing chainfire3d my fone is booting on recovery. how can i get back to normal?

the operation wass succes.but it is not booting. the samsung logo comes(the second animated logo) and continues. but the ui is not loading.
My problem is that my phone is not booting, it's just loading.. So i need to reflash my phone again but i'm not sure on how to proceed. I had ICS and an custom room, im not sure which 1 but if it's important i can find it out.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 16Gb Nook Tablet that I wiped a long time ago and put CM7 on it. It worked great. Then I put CM9 on it, and it worked great. Then I tried to put CM10 on it. So far, no matter what build I try for CM10.0 or CM10.1, it has the exact same result: After I do the final reboot, it starts to boot up, but gives up and just shuts down (screen goes black, and you have to turn on the device again). Sometimes the CM10 logo starts spinning before it turns off, sometimes it turns off before the spinning CM10 boot logo appears.
I've tried many different builds (only for the Nook Tablet), but they all behave the same (some from the official cyanogenmod web site, some from other xda-developer forum posts for the Nook Tablet).
So I want to get the wife the Transformer Prime for her work, BUT they have a site that they MUST use that is Internet Explorer only. I've looked around a bit, but it seems nothing is available, but most of those threads weren't this specific and they all seemed to be pretty old. are there any options that will allow her to get to this site or should I just scrap the whole idea until her company moves into the current technological age?

my htc explorer is behaving weirdly. volume down button is keep on pressing itself. I tried to restart the phone then it went to boot menu. after restarting couple of more times now the phone is on but the volume down button is on keep on pressing itself. during the call the volume button is keep on pressing down itself and cant able to hear others voice. View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using the application LINK2SD for transferring my applications to SD card. But what I see is, there is some memory still used from the phone memory even after moving that application.
So, I want to know what can be the reason for that and is there any way to move that data part to SD card?
this is not making any sense in rooting the device as still my phone memory gets low.
I flashed the official nightly build of CyanogenMod on my Samsung Galaxy Ace.
The root explorer just closes when I try to open it. So I removed it, and installed it via an apk, same issue.
And when I download it from the market, it says it's "Purchased", but when I try to download it, it gives me a 403 error.
Htc has recently released desire s model which is almost same as htc explorer architecture wise... as you would be knowing that it has ice cream sandwich and sense 4.0 ..
So I was wondering if it could be easily ported for explorer...
or Any developer already on this project ??
