Dec 23, 2013I have an Optimus Vu 2 (F200K), which I rooted via the universal 4.1.2 method found in the XDA Developers forums. After downloading an update, I experienced an error, after which the phone is stuck in a bootloop showing Security error. The specs of the Vu 2 are:
1. 1024*768 [4:3] 5" screen.
2. 2 GB RAM
3. 1.5 GHz Dual-Core Krait CPU
4. Adreno 225 GPU
5. Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean

General :: Optimus V Recovery Loop With Flashing Error (Can't Find Update Script)
Jan 9, 2013So I was having a problem with my Optimus V (Virginmobile) and I couldn't send or receive texts. I did a factory restart thinking it would work but then found myself at the recovery menu. When I try to flash xionia_cwma_12518.6.zip it says E:cant find update script. When I try and flash CM7.2RC1_VM670-BobZhome-052012 it installs and when I reboot i get taken back to the recovery menu.
In short; My Virgin Mobile Optimus V is stuck in a recovery loop that I am unable to get out of due to an error while trying to flash ROMs/ Custom Recovery.
The error reads at the end of all attempts: E: Can't find update script.

Apr 6, 2014i tried to flash a rom without unlocking my bootloader. Well im running windows 8.1 and for some reason i couldnt get my computer to recognize the phone at all. After using 3 or 4 different guides i gave up for a few days so not to get too aggrivated. I mean its my own fault but my back up phone sucks lol. So i borrowed my wifes laptop running win 7. I Followed this guide androidforums.com/optimus-l9-all-things-root/807569-guide-security-error-fix.html. everything seemed to work got the s/w screen to appear in reverse and using the cmd prompt that says wiating for device then starting the .bat file from the download it says on the bat cmd prompt that everything worked. well at the bottom its says done then comes up with C:fast boot yours. i have been browsing Google but i haven't been able to find what i am supposed to do with the yours file. i tried putting a kdz file into the file location and running it from that but no luck. after a few min the phone auto reboots and comes back with the security error screen and not the backwards one.

Aug 2, 2010Seem to have a problem when trying to open certain pdf files. The files can be opened without any issue on a PC but get the 'unsupported security handler' error when trying to open on the desire (froyo updated).
Not actually tried these files prior to the froyo update so unsure whether this is a bug?
Downloaded Adobe Reader as an alternative viewer, this time it opens but the pages are blank... Think it's something about the pdfs as they were written in Acrobat Distiller 7.0.5 for mac...

Aug 12, 2010Yesterday i added a security pattern where you have to fill in the pattern when the phone like starts. I took the wrong pattern and have to login with google stuff now. I did login and all stuff, but i get error saying wrong password or username. I checked on google.com that it was correct and it is. Now i do not have Internet checked on before it went to locking so i dunno if its the reason that i do not have the internet connection on it.

When i put headphones in phone just look like phone not regonize it and when u playing music sound still come from phone speakers.

But its not work in CM10

General :: Installing Firmware On LG Optimus F3
May 31, 2014I'm definitely a newbie with Android. Today, I looked online for overclocking my LG Optimus F3, and I found this thread "[MS659][F3] Freedom Kernel Overclocked" (I'm a newbie xda won't let me post links yet). It said you could achieve a 1.4 GHz overclock (my device has a 1.2 GHz processor). So, dummy me, I got all excited and flashed the MS65910c firmware to my phone like the thread said I needed to have (I didn't know that that would switch my service providers as I had Virgin Mobile). So, I'm a little confused still... Can I still have Virgin Mobile service with MetroPCS firmware? If not, I want to restore my device back to Virgin Mobile firmware (LS720ZV6). The problem is, I am also a little confused with the flashing firmware thing. Can I flash .zip files instead of .kdz files (I couldn't find LS720ZV6 .kdz firmware files on the web)?
