The phone is branded by bulgarian operator GLOBUL Q1 SE, but it has problems with the original ROM so we flash it with Stock rom huawei u8110 (normal).zip downloaded from [URL].
This ROM is T-Mobile but when the phone boot there is an error - The application CustomAPKsHidden (process com.huawei.android.CustomAPKsHidden) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. So I try to flash with other Stock ROMs, but there is an error again - when it is finish with unpacking and starts to install operation failed! So I decide to flash with a Custom ROM. I tried 12-13 different ROMs, but with every single one of them I have network error. I check baseband status - it is unknown!

The procedures mentioned to root or install CWM Recovery in Huawei x3 U8510 requires you to go to USB Debugging mode in Settings but my device does not have a working Stock ROM.
I am able to boot into the Stock Recovery mode (Volume + and power button) but unable to install CWM(tried several versions for U8510), SU, Custom ROM etc cuz it says signature verification failed even though I tried cmw zip files which were signed.
I tried going into download mode by pressing Volume - and power button that didn't work too. Even though the Huawei symbol came up I couldn't root the device using
P.S: I couldn't find any of the latest ROMs for this device too!

The problem is that Google play store didnt come with the phone and i have tried installing it with 4share but everytime i get an error that says u "Unfortunately, Google Play has Stopped" I have tried many things like deleting chache and deleting email. Do i have to Root to get it to work?
Another thing is that i really like to have my phone rooted.. as i said has android 4.1.2 and huawei's Emotion UI 1.5 (2gb ram).
Also i really like to get rid of the Chinese in for example browser (have it set on english but still alot of Chinese) and Youtube didnt work in browser at all. In the commericals i see Voice Assistant in english but i have it in Chinese (any way to change it).

I want to get rid of from google play services and google's other cartel softwares. I dont want to share my location information via google, but ı want to share my location information via forsqaure. But google lay down "if you want to use forsquare, you must run google play services and you must share your information to us". I've been using Google's IM service associated with my gmail and I'm a little confused how to access this on my new moto razr. A notification pops up with the message and I can click on it and read it and respond....but then I cannot find where it went! I've tried opening up all the messanging apps I have (IM, Messaging, Messenger) and I don't see my conversations there from my gmail.

My custom ROM didn't come with Google Talk. I don't want another IM client that can have Google talk on it i want the real thing. I have tried loading talk in system/app but it didn't load. Another time i tried again it came in the app drawer but when i opened it it crashed. I am running salty bean ROM and devil kernel. does this kernel support it or not? I did set the permissions correctly and still no luck.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhile installiing "google play services" I got some error 919 "Incompatible with other applications(s) using the same shared user ID", for which i googled for solutions which said to uninstall Google service framework(GSF) then, install play services and then again install GSF.
when i tried to uninstall the GSF via "titanium backup" i was unable to do so. Hence i thought of converting it to an user app ,then take a backup of apk file and then uninstall it. While doing so, it was taking very much time, so i rebooted my phone, after which i did not found GSF in my apps list.
Now i'm not able to have an access to play store.
My GSF version was 4.0.1- 212031

It is never actually installed. I tried cycling power to my 7" Nook, but that did not work. I also checked for any hung process using the Elixer sysinfo tool, which did not work either.
Why the google music player won't install?
When I try to install any app from Google play store it all goes well until I press the 'accept and download' button and the app just goes back to main screen and the app is not installed. I have a ZTE V889S (aka ZTE Blade C, ZTE V807) with android 4.1.2. When I download any application/game off the Play Store, it will download up to 100%, yet not install. If I exit google play, wipe the process, and start it again, then it will install the application that it already downloaded. when applications update, I have to restart google play multiple times to update everything, which becomes a nuisance.
I had the problem even on the original android 4.1.2 rom (with the default/not updated play store app), and I currently have Lewa OS (A chinese custom rom), which still has the problem. There is enough space in every possible install location (I've tried setting it to the SD card and the internal storage). The alternative chinese app market has no problem installing applications right after downloading them.
Starting today am unable to download or update any app from official play store on an rooted device. Any clues to resolve this ?
