View 1 Replies View RelatedFollowing up a guide to install CWM, I bricked my Huawei G610. It is on bootloop now. No Fastboot access too. Any hardware key combination to re-install stock firmware including Recovery?
I recall few phones had a process to put ROM on SDcard and with special hardware key combinations, it used to re-flash fron SDcard.
will roms made for the huawei ascend 2, work on the huawei sonic, as the phones look identical, and the specs are pretty much the same?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI wanted yo instal miui on my huawei G610 - u20 but due to inpack mobile everything went wrong with mobile and after rebooting my phone it went in bootloop.
after lots of reading and googling i have found a official firmware of my phone with sp_flashtool inside it with two different type :
SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1320.0.174_Secboot
and
SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1316.0.148_DLInfoV1-cust
I have followed all of correct procedure but in with sp_flash tool sec boot i encounter this error : to download code area is forbidden on this phone
And with sp_flash tool CUST it says( brom error : s_brom_download_da_failed )
And when i run a memory test it says ERROR : NAND FLASH WAS NOT DETECTED
If i format my phone in sp flash tool will it work?
The procedures mentioned to root or install CWM Recovery in Huawei x3 U8510 requires you to go to USB Debugging mode in Settings but my device does not have a working Stock ROM.
I am able to boot into the Stock Recovery mode (Volume + and power button) but unable to install CWM(tried several versions for U8510), SU, Custom ROM etc cuz it says signature verification failed even though I tried cmw zip files which were signed.
I tried going into download mode by pressing Volume - and power button that didn't work too. Even though the Huawei symbol came up I couldn't root the device using
P.S: I couldn't find any of the latest ROMs for this device too!
Is there any chance to flash a custom version of CWM recovery into this device? Obtain one custom version and how to flash it? My G525 is already bootloader unlocked and rooted.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMe and my friend, we installed on his phone an android 2.3.6. It was from their official website. But after installing few things change. And one of them is that there is no notification bar anymore. (the one you can slide down on homescreen, there is the bar wich u can slide down but no "bluetooth, wifi, gps etc")
I saw a video where you go to display settings and tick the notification bar or something like that , but there isnt such an option on his phone.
I'm pretty new to Android. I recently rooted my phone using Framaroot and it worked perfectly after reboot. Then I tried to install Sinhalese fonts using Sinhala Fonts Installer and after installing that, I uninstalled the app before restarting. Then I restarted the phone and it get stuck at the Huawei Logo and will not boot into launcher.
I tried to hard reset by going to recovery mode using Power + (vol up + vol down). (Fortunately I can go into the recovery mode.) Even if I factory reset the phone, the same situation is there. And some articles said to log in to fast boot mode by Power + Vol down, but it doesn't work and just boots into that Huawei logo.
As I read, to install a custom ROM, ClockWork Recovery has to be used, but I can't do it since I can't log into my phone.
Is there any way I can make my phone alive? Or at least, is there any way that I can install ClockWork Recovery without booting into my phone, just using my SD card?

Is it possible to overclock the cpu-gpu of the Ascend series that runs the same CPU as the mate? I love the mate, but it could use a little more GPU power.
Stock cpu is 1.5ghz, possible to boost the mate to 2ghz? Battery has plenty of power so it shouldnt be a problem right ?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've been having problems with the SD card on my Cricket Huawei Ascend for a long time. I cannot download anything on any browser, it will only result in an error saying I do not have enough space. When I mount the SD card, there are no files visible on my PC, and I have tried formatting it, but unmounting it will only have the phone return it from it's 944mb of free space after I formatted to 875mb of free space with 4 files- busyboxstericon, ComFile.dat, crash.txt, and toolbox-stericson. These files return no matter what I do. Moving files from the PC to sd card will only be wiped when I unmount it. Any solution, or is it beyond redemption? I've also tried some solutions like the SDformatter program, and windows chkdsk, but they have not worked. I also factory reset my phone out of desperation, but no.

View 9 Replies View Related I recently got a Android 2.3.6 phone, models the HUAWEI Ascend Y201. So far happy with it but there are a few things I want to do- and reading up on it has more Tbab confused me. Firstly I want to remove the bloatware it came with but it seems this can't be done without 'root'. I understand that this basically allows me more permissions with the system? Secondly I am wondering about these ROMs. What do they do? Lastly, the play store seems to like telling me there is no space left for the application, but it installing to a 4gb SD card? An application I saw called MarketFix claims to fix it but needs root.
I have tried z4root (this did nothing) and gingerbreak (ran for 7 hours).
I have a huawei ascend y210d, model y201-0200 i need a rom for it, i tried the VIETTEL rom but is not working on my phone. I installed recovery on it and i flashed VIETTEL rom but this rom is crashing, is not working ...

My Huawei Ascend G700 that I just bought has gone into a bootloop. I have succesfully root the phone using Huwaei eroot software from as in the picture below but I havent flashed any custom ROM yet.
But then I want to install CWM recovery into the phone as it much feature rich that the stock e3 recovery. So I've downloaded the CWM recovery from the page in the picture below.
I used MobileUncle Tools to boot the CWM recovery & that's when the issue occured. It keep restarting after the Huawei logo. I cant even get into the recovery (by holding volume button up + power button). If I hold the volume down button + power button, a sentence " => FSATBOOT mode... " at the lower left corner of the screen will appear but the phone will reboot itself again & again.
The part with red doesn't work on my phone anymore, i can't acces the apps in the app drawer because when I press there nothing happens, also home button, menu button and back button don't work anymore. Could it be the screen digitiser?
I disassembled and assembled it to check if a cable or something wasn't right, but everything seemed ok, but even after that it's still not working.
I did a factory reset and the dock buttons worked but the 3 menu, home and back buttons didnt work and later on the dock buttons didn't work again, should i flash a ROM again? Maybe it would work then, but I'm not sure if the home button is going to work in CWM Touch.
BTW, I went to developer settings and enabled show touches and that area which is affected can't be touched at all but sometimes if I bend the phone, it gets ghost touches and even the dock gets touch inputs.
How do you change the Huawei Ascend M860 splash screens the white Huawei splash and the blue Droid man splash both display before my boot animation which is the boot animation I extracted from my PlayfulMod 2.2.2 and applied to my CyanogenMod. 2.3.5.
