i rooted my phone few days ago and out of curosity i used the root explorer to move all the system apps to my SD card. the phone shutdown and on an attempt to reboot it never did pass the screen after the at&t logo. it keeps on restarting from that point. .

I just can't seem to restore my phones keyboard.
I have an AT&T Fusion, AKA the Huawei U8652, and I successfully rooted it.
I currently have an iPhone 4S, so I was trying to use the Fusion as a sort of Android "iPod", so I downloaded a Terminal Emulator and started deleting unnecessary applications and bloatware, and any phone-related apks (and another type of file that I cannot remember), since I figured I wouldn't need them.
I deleted these apps from the System folder, which usually is read-only, but I gave myself temporary RW access via the command:
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4/system
which allowed me to delete apps, and after deleting a few, my keyboard disappeared. I believe there was a pop-up about Google Services Framework crashing, but I had that happen prior to losing the keyboard after I deleted an app, and nothing seemed wrong.
I reset the phone to factory default to try and get the keyboard back, but nothing changed.Now I'm on the activation screen, and clicking the Android does nothing, nor does clicking emergency dial, so there is no way I can bypass the activation screen via dialing numbers.Since I reset the phone to factory default, I think I lost my root-access, so when I try to install a custom recovery image, the phone isn't recognized, and I cannot access the phone to enable USB-debugging so I can root the phone again.
I've gone into the recovery menu and deleted the cache, and data, and did a few factory resets, and nothing has changed.Is there ANYTHING I can do? I believe I was on 2.3.5, so is there like a stock ROM I can download that I can install via the regular recovery menu?The worst part about this is I only tried deleting the bloatware because I couldn't figure out how to install a custom ROM, but while looking for solutions to this problem, I figured out how to install custom ROMs on my phone...
EDIT: I tried to install a supposed stock ROM on it, but it acts as if I'm installing a custom ROM, giving me a verification error, which leads me to believe its not a stock ROM. Is there anyway I could download the stock firmware and install it on my device as to restore the missing files?
I know that Benru89 has made a CM7 port for the Huawei U8650 (the aforementioned being thusly compatible with his ROM). I was wondering, given that there is already a compatible ROM in place, what methods would I need to port a different Android version, namely 4.2.2 onto this device? How does one move up from CM7 to CM10.1.2, essentially?

The procedures mentioned to root or install CWM Recovery in Huawei x3 U8510 requires you to go to USB Debugging mode in Settings but my device does not have a working Stock ROM.
I am able to boot into the Stock Recovery mode (Volume + and power button) but unable to install CWM(tried several versions for U8510), SU, Custom ROM etc cuz it says signature verification failed even though I tried cmw zip files which were signed.
I tried going into download mode by pressing Volume - and power button that didn't work too. Even though the Huawei symbol came up I couldn't root the device using
P.S: I couldn't find any of the latest ROMs for this device too!

I have followed all of correct procedure but in with sp_flash tool sec boot i encounter this error : to download code area is forbidden on this phone
And with sp_flash tool CUST it says( brom error : s_brom_download_da_failed )
And when i run a memory test it says ERROR : NAND FLASH WAS NOT DETECTED

And when I reboot the phone after applying the font, my phone will be stuck at boot logo.

However, in the past couple days I've found that when the phone does its auto-timeout, it takes up to ten seconds for it to switch back on. So the other day I went to download an app out of the market. The download finished, but it seems my phone decided to auto-reboot itself in the midst of the installation. After the reboot completes, I go back to the market, reselect the app, and it's hung at "Installing..." (And when I say "hung," the market is still fully functional except that one app). I'm given no option to cancel the installation. Killing the market app then trying to go back in has no effect - same deal. Hung on install. Another reboot didn't help.
Is there any way to delete the install package and make the market forget I even tried in the first place?
It's Angry Birds (wanted to see what all the fuss was about), but the install seems to have failed in a way that any app install could have failed.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI was trying out the Pattern Lock feature on my HTC Incredible S and got locked out after too many incorrect attempts. I can't use my email address and password to verify my account as my data and wifi are switched off.
To get around this problem, I've transferred to my microSD card the XtraSec apk that will allow me to remotely switch on wifi and data. However, I'm not sure how to trigger the installation of the apk when I can't get past the lock screen .Can I use fastboot to access the file explorer app (ES file explorer) or apk installer app to get the apk to install?
I haven't rooted the phone and it's running the latest version of Android. I'm not sure if I have USB debugging enabled. I'd like to avoid doing a reset if possible coz I haven't backed up the things that aren't on the sd card.
