I think I should save them in a binary format and save their links into the database. Is it the better solution? Can you give some code or an example? now I only uploaded the image and display it directly using an ImageView but I want to make it available in my application when the user is offline.

Jun 27, 2012Any web browser where the resize/crop profile photo window in Desktop (full) version of facebook actually works? Seriously, I can not change my friggin fb profile pic because when it asks to drag the edges of the box to crop the photo, it wont do anything. When I touch it and try to drag, it just moves the entire screen around. It wont actually select it...kind of like you do when you click inside a Flash window. I have tried stock browser, Boat, Dolphin HD and Opera. None of them will move or resize the drag box. Im stuck without PC access and have been wanting to change my photo for months but have not been able to. I dont understand this. When I had my Touch Pro 2 with Windows Mobile and used Opera Mobile, I had absolutely no problem dragging that box around.

Oct 29, 2012I currently have an iPhone 4S and I am probably going to get a Galaxy Note 2 when it comes out for Verizon. In order to prepare for this, I set up Google Play Music to upload my music so it can be ready for me when I get my new phone (I like it better than Samsung's default music player). Only one problem: protected AAC files (or DRM) can't be transferred to Play Music. I tried converting my music with 2 different DRM converters, but they were free trials, and it only would convert 1:00 of each song and then stop. Is there any free way to convert each protected song completely, along with protected videos? Also, does music on Play Music eat up an Android device's space? I have over 12 GB of music and movies and I don't want to have barely any any space left on a 16 GB device if a 32 or 64 GB ever comes out, minus the SD card.

Aug 25, 2010Every time I click on the Avatar icon it says "File Not Found". It happened recently, I had it for two days and it worked fine.I was looking up this problem on the internet and someone said a reason why its not there anymore is because when I connected my Vibrant to my computer via USB, I didn't disconnect my phone from the computer "safely" which might have corrupted some files which pretty much sounds exactly like my situation. Jul 20, 2010While going through the Galaxy S manual I noticed that mkv video files were supported. I grabbed a backup copy I have of my Avatar Blu-Ray, in mkv format. I chopped it using a muxer to 1gb and transferred it to the phone. I don't remember which specific muxer I used, but it's so that I would t have to re-render the movie.I was floored by how gorgeous the movie looks on the 4' screen. Vibrant colors, no lag during playback and very good details. For some reason the audio is not working but my avi audio playback are nice, especially with the virtual 5.1.
I played with the tone controls and the brightness. By far this is my most impressive media moment with any smartphone.What is your most impressive media moment with the device, so far?my Droidx and Evo4g coworkers are jealous. I out performed them in benchmarks and the screen "vibrancy" wins by a mile.
