Android :: Posts Are Not Displayed - Perhaps Deleted By Moderators

I am new to this group. I had posted a question yesterday in this group. It didn't appear. I thought I made a mistake; so I posted it today and it didn't appear either. I realized now that this group has something called moderators before it reaches the posting. Am I missing something or did anything wrong? My question was a simple application question and didn't have any bad language in it. Could some please let me know if the question was rejected? If so what is reason so that I can correct it.

I already had about 4 messages deleted from this forum. They were serious questions that i had and some moderator is simply deleting them. Now i'm unable to get help to my issues. I have an important project that must be delivered in Feb 1st and this attitude of the moderators is delaying the project.

I have posted 8 posts to this group. But I can't find any of them. My profile shows that I have posted 8 + this one, but only one of them is listed. I posted a question about a soft keyboard on September 15, and then I saw it posted. But now it's now longer there.
Is it the policy of this group to remove the posts for which Android cannot give an answer? It's really disheartening to come here and post a question and not only get no answer, but then get your post censored! Can someone manning the booth here give a reasonable answer to this?

Our application displays widgets that update every minute through Alarm. It works fine under 1.5 and 1.6 but since 2.0, widget is not displayed at all. Only initial layout is displayed.

Just wondering how to make the google calendar my default posting calendar as opposed to all of my events being default saved in My Calendar. For some reason My Calendar didn't sync to the Google database, so I'm trying to avoid future hassles.

I really hate the stock messaging app on the bottom of my Galaxy s2. I like using gosms cause i can lock it and keep it private. But the messages are showing up still in the messaging app, ( i thought i enabled only gosms) and of course, when i delete them, they get deleted in gosms too

I've been searching the forums for a way to change the "via facebook for android" or the "via HTC sense message on the bottom of facebook posts.
I figure it is done by the app somewhere.
Or is it done by facebook?
Has anyone seen anything on how to customize it?

Why is it that facebook never shows older posts? When pressing for them it seems to just refresh the page and load new ones, my girlfriend had the same problem on her desire has anyone else encountered this and knows how to fix it?

I am having major issues with the Facebook app on my Captivate. Most of the time, I does not show the posts or if it shows the posts, only a few of them. Clicking on older posts does not bring up any more posts. Are other people having similar issues?

I love dolphin browser and have been using it for a few weeks now but. Every time I post on forums it always wants to double post, on here there is a 15 second gap before you can post again but on a lot of the forums I use are for work related pimping, well I post a lot on kite forums and run a kite school so it's kinda work related pimping. It's doing my head in as I have to go and delete a second post every time I post, just curious if any one else had this issue? It was there before I rooted my phone and it's there after I rooted my phone.

This is the first problem that I have had with my droid. Actually I dont even consider it a problem just curious if anyone else has run into this. This morning my news feed wouldnt load any of the older posts. Then I uploaded a picture this morning 12/24 and it showed the date I uploaded it was on tuesday the 22nd at 4:28 PM.

I have got a LG GW620 T-Mobile UK version running Android 1.5. I have setup my hotmail account but can only see the Inbox folder. Is there anyway to display all the other sub folders I have created e.g. Sent. So I can move email to the subfolders.

My program doesn't work correctly with Android 1.6 (running on Acer), it works correctly with others devices. Apparently, my xml view is not correctly understood with this device (or Android version). With Android 2.1 all is ok, but with Android 1.6 I've a second scroll bars displayed (one for webview another for the scroll view), my last relative layout covers the webview which is not displayed completely. I know that an issue was existing with Android 1.5.

For a particular activity - what is the best way to store data that needs to be displayed. The issue is that when the user changes orientation, you need to be able to re-render your activity which means you need to get back at that data that you use to render. I understand the MVC design pattern, but I guess I'm wondering where the M should be stored. Global variables? Static members of your activity? Serialized to private storage?

I have a list view with array adapter to show user some information that retrieved from Internet, As we all know reading data from Internet requires some time to finish, but if I try to read data on getView(), it means user must wait and he/she cannot see anything at that time, the screen is black for long a time because it will cost too much time to finish. This is unacceptable.
So I think maybe I can show user a empty list view first and then display a progress dialog to let user know I'm now just reading data. The background task will read data and send message to UI thread when job is done. But there's one problem: I don't know how to get notified when list view is displayed. I mean, I want to know when & where to show that progress dialog when I first show user an empty list?
