View 1 RepliesIs there an app, or a zip file to flash, to where i can choose to hide certain icons from the status bar? i like to just turn my screen on to see if i have any notifications, but i hate it how i get the "more" icon, where you have to drag the status bar down, only to find out it was just an update notification.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've looked all over the forum, but don't see any recent posts for my question. So I'm hoping someone can help... I would like to hide or remove unwanted icons from the left side of the notification/status bar. I realize most programs give you this option, but some don't (such as the latest version of Norton security program). It just sits up there and hogs up real estate. Ideally, it would also be nice to be able to rearrange the icons, or make them larger if desired..

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a few questions about how Chomp works on the Epic: If I download Chomp, will I still get notifications at the top notification pull down on the home page? Or are the only notifications given on the actual chomp icon? (I don't want to have two notifications.) I was also wondering if I would still be able to use the "speak to text" feature that the stock app has? Lastly, there is a set of permanent icons on the home screen (phone, contacts, messaging, apps). When I click messaging, would it go to chomp?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been using various ROMs (including various Xposed modules) in the past and most of them allow me to auto-hide the status bar.But whenever I swipe down from the top and the statusbar is displayed, it resizes the entire content on my phone.
What I was looking for is a statusbar that will show up above the content, like the immersive mode in KitKat but for JB so it doesn't resize my content but overlap it.
I know there are some apps that give you this kind of auto-hide status bar but it will only work in fullscreen apps, so I tried to make everything on my phone full screen (using expanded desktop) but it doesn't seem to work...
I have the Minix neo X5 tv box and i wish to hide the status bar.completely..i dont want it.
i have plugged a keyboard+remote to control everything i need.but i dont seem to succeed hiding it..
After hiding it, mapping its functions to some Fn buttons on my keyboard would be a nice extra.
Is there any launcher/Mod or app or way to do this?? I mean on launcher screen you tap twice (double-click) to hide icons and all the stuff on the screen, So only wallpaper shows?? I have this feature on my desktop (with Fences Pro).

Having an animated icons in status bar is something not many people have thought up and it's great for customization!
How to get started on this project, and I know it can be accomplished, the PacRom
Team has a USB debugging icon that is fully animated, I have been in contact and am making a little progress here and there.
Why Rom ToolBox does not change the status bar Icons when it shows that it's installed?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to make the status bar icons opaque on an ics Rom (the icons to the left, like the debugging, usb, unread notifications, etc.) as in kitkat roms. What values should i change? I'm sure it's not on drawables.xml and it's not the png's either (they are already opaque). Statusbar.smali maybe? if that's the case, what are the lines that i should modify?
Here, some screenshots:

View 1 Replies View RelatedCM10.1 or AOKP theme where the only thing that changes from stock is that the status bar icons, specifically signal, battery and wifi are white instead of Holo blue? Either that or a theme that replaces the status bar with MIUI bar icons but maintains the rest of the UI would be great as well. I tried one called HoloWhite, as well as a couple other minimalistic ones, but with those some of the icon styles changed.

My Droid is screaming fast now, but I plan on reinstalling Home++ when the issues get worked out. One of the things I liked was the way it hid the status bar. Is there any other app or option out there to hide the status on the stock home?

My intention is to hide the status bar at the top when the WebView comes to the front, so that the WebView remains full screen (no status bar). View 2 Replies View RelatedFor the sake of keeping this from going the way every other thread I've seen on the subject always goes: Yes, I am fully aware that adw launcher and launcher pro give you the option of hiding your whole statusbar. No, that is not what I am after, nor is that what this post is about. This is a question for theme developers... Is there anyone out there that knows how to hide the statusbar clock in FroYo? I've been poking around for the past two days trying to figure this one out on my own, but it's not going as smoothly as I would like it to be.
Most of what I've been reading points to the Services.jar file. (Specifically comandroidserverstatusStatusBarIcon.smali)... but any of the threads I've found mention changing the border. I can't find anything in the StatusBarIcon.smali file that indicates border spacing at all. Am I even on the right track here, or am I looking in completely the wrong place?
