I just bought a new SD card for my HTC Vivid. I like to download podcasts and save them but I guess it was saving them to my phone's memory and I cant figure out how to download podcasts to my SD card.

Anyone know of a decent podcast app that will download podcasts (preferably at user defined scheduled times) to your phone (even better the SD card)? My old Nokia n95 did this perfectly, but haven't seen such an app for the Android. I have seen some that will stream, but I don't care for streaming, I'm looking for it to download the podcasts.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC Vivid which has a total of 16 GB internal space. Or at least it did. I had been running a JB custom ROM, but was bored today so I decided to flash a custom ICS one.
I backed up all my personal stuff to my PC, and wiped everything from recovery -- both caches, factory/data, system, and for good measure the internal sdcard (so there wouldn't be any potential conflict with the JB installation.
After I booted up, I checked the storage stats, and I now have around 6 GB total. Where's the rest, and what should I have done differently? It seems as if a partition isn't mounted or something. Is this space retrievable?

My computer is having a problem recognizing my HTC Vivid as anything besides an Unknown USB Device. Sometimes it will come up as an Android Phone and list the normal drivers but that goes away and turns into an Unknown USB Device with no drivers in about 10 seconds. I've tried mounting it to Disk Drive, HTC Sync, Internet Pass-Through, and Sync Manager. I want to update my phone.

View 3 Replies View Relatedi just updated my vivid and now i get an error message when i try to update adobe flash. i uninstalled and now i get an error message that says "your order is processing, your item will be available in a few minutes." and it never downloads. i cant view any videos on the web that require adobe wich is alot. is there a patch, was to force the download or other program that is compatable with adobe linked video? my phone is stock btw.

I am trying to download a file from my tablet (teac tc-971v, 16gb internal storage), but when im trying to download an error pops up saying "an sd card is required to download " happens with any file im trying to download. i have enough storage avaliable (13gb free). I've tryed to download from a different browser (Dolphin).
I've tried to set the destination directory to the internal folder.(btw the default android browser doesnt have this option, only on dolphin browser)
is there any way i can download files to my internal storage without getting an sd card?

Cant download anything bigger than 4gb to external sd card. I have a T769 Blaze and have a 32gb external sd card installed, a sandisk hicap. I installed it factory and no luck. Read some forums and formated it to exfat, then ntsf, both read fine and can store up to 4gb but no more, tried all the various apps to get it to store when downloading but always get size limit error. How can I get my OS to allow bigger than 4gb to download to my 32gb sd card. Note: I have no issues when trying to move files from PC to phone, just downloading them from the Internet either by download site or torrent. Got some movies and software I need to get. OS is ics 4.0.4 rooted stock. I am a good pc geek but limited on android/linux skills.

I can't find the podcats through the phone. I thought the podcasts may be accessible through the Music app, but only my music albums are viewable.I know they've got to be right in front of my face but I can't seem to access the podcast content.
I have recently bought an 8G sd card for my defy mini but I still cant download apps because the internal memory on my phone is very low. I have to manually switch the app from the memory onto the sd card, and I cant do this because the app wont download at all!

I have had the Incredible for a week and was working fine. Recently, I have tried to download some wallpaper and music and they will not download. My wife also has one and I looked at her settings for the SD card and the Unmount SD card is lite. On mine I tap it and it will not lite stays gray.
