i have tried everything i could find, flashed all zips from Rocodev's thread, i also tried modified dsp manager with integrated beats audio and it worked for a few hours and after that , sound just rols back to stock... low volume and bad sound..
i tried everything, wipe dalvik cache before or after installing, fixing permitions manualy and in recovery, flashing with cwm and manually...... i have reflashed my rom every time after non secssfull installing beats audio,so im asking u, am i doing something wrong or beats audio is just not compatible with this device ?!?!?

General :: No Sound On Phone After Getting Beats Audio
Feb 18, 2013I recently rooted my kyocera rise and everything was fine until I decided to install beats audio. My first mistake before installing the drivers was not backing up anything, yes I know that's bad. Okay so I installed the drivers with beats audio from the market then rebooted. Now I have no sound at all. No ring no music nothing. And my phone is running a lot worse now. Now come to find out apparently beats audio is not removable. The drivers can't be removed. I really need sound. Is there a way to unroot and completely factory reset the phone through factory settings?

Apr 22, 2013I had installed Beats Audio Installer which did improved the Quality of Sound on my Headsets and even Beats Headset were Supported...but it spoiled the sound of my phone Speaker.. that is.. Crackling and low sound on some Default Presets of MusicFX. so i had to uninstall it. after Removing Beats.. My Phone Speaker Problem got Fixed but.. MusicFX is working no longer. wen i choose sound effects in default ICS music Player. it Says "Unfortunately MusicFX stopped Working". i tried Clearing Cache and Data of Both Music player and MusicFX but nothing works. I even installed third party Equalizers but all crashes showing Same Message. I even Installed N7 Music player and when i select its Equalizer it says. "But we cannot Initialize Equalizer."

Jun 4, 2013Since I've been using the cm 10 and 10.1 based roms (4.1.x and 4.2.x, respectively) I've noticed the DSP Manager or Awesome beats audio effects randomly stop effecting the sound. It was noted here:

That pausing and playing the audio player will re-enable the EQ effects. I normally use Google Music on the HTC Rezound running a variant of CM10.1 (4.2.2) but others have stated other devices and are doing this as well.
I just played with it by force closing the DSP manager process while listening to music. This did not in and of itself stop the EQ effects. Once I reopened the DSP manager app and again stop/start or pause played the effect was re enabled. Simply restarting the DSP manager app did not re enable the effect.

Dec 31, 2012 I recently bought Zync Z930 7" Android tablet. Everything is working fine, except for the WiFi. My router is Belkin G Wireless 40961F. The tablet finds the WiFi and connects to it and works flawlessly. But as soon as I move to upstairs, the connection is lost and it says Wifi Not in Range. I tried changing the pass from WPA to WEP and finally no password at all. Now the connection stays for more time. I tried putting "Keep On Wifi " to " Never (increases data usage) " . The connection says " Good Signal Strength ", but it keeps flashing between "Connecting " and "saved" .
Do I need to contact the vendor ? as I bought it from Ebay, I need to return it ASAP if its a hardware problem. BtW, it says the tab runs on a custom ROM.

Sep 20, 2012I seem to have a weird problem on my HTC Sensation. I have been noticing that when the phone switches from Wifi to 'H', the mobile data stops working. I can see the signal bars so no problems with making calls, text etc. I have tried putting phone into airplane more, resetting mobile data and a couple of apps that reset the mobile data stack. None of that has worked. The only way I have made it work is by restarting the phone - quite frustrating. The mobile data then starts working. It has only happened when 'H' is displayed as the mobile data.

Sep 8, 2010It's done this twice now (before and after factory reset). 2.1 OTA, not rooted.
Whenever I turn on the wifi, or I become in range of my WPA2 network, it doesn't always connect. I say "always" because it seems to be random. If I toggle wifi on or off, it doesn't always connect. Sometimes it connects after 30+ seconds. Every other device connects just fine.
The only sure way to get it to connect is to force it to rescan, usually by going to Settings and displaying all SSIDs in range. THEN it connects, always and immediately.
The even sillier thing is, it will alert me of open networks, but never connect to my own saved network.
HTC EVO 4G : Wifi Not Picking Up When In Range / How To Fix?
Sep 7, 2010Not sure if any of you guys have the same problem but when I leave my Wifi on all day, and return home from work, my home Wifi never picks back up. When I toggle my Wifi on and off, it picks up again. My signal is always above 1 bar when on Wifi in my house, it just does NOT automatically connect anymore.

Nov 10, 2009I got the Hero on 3UK yesterday. As soon as I booted it up it found a number of wireless networks and I was able to connect to my BeBox with no problems. Later on last night and continuing today, it can't find any networks in range. It shows the BeBox as 'remembered' but not in range. Even tho I'm obviously sitting near it. I've rebooted the phone today and no change. I installed the Fonera application yesterday and thought it might be causing problems so disabled it and still the problem was there.

Jun 13, 2010Quick background, I am still on a $30/month SERO plan with my Touch Pro 2 and waiting to get a $10/24 month discount but Sprint has put a halt to all discounts for the time being, so I'm going to try when the iPhone 4 comes out and when Verizon gets their Droid X. I was going to sell my EVO but it seems I might as well keep it since I'm going to eventually use it.
So in the meantime, I'm going to hold onto the TP2/SERO and use the EVO when I am within a WiFi network. Thing is sometimes I want to bring the EVO out, so I thought maybe I could open up a WiFi hotspot with HTC's Wifi-Router software and connect to it with the EVO. But the EVO isn't recognizing the WiFi hotspot. My laptop can recognize it though. I tried to add the WiFi network but it'll say "Not in range, remembered".

May 2, 2010I have a droid and the range I get with wifi compared to a laptop is horrible. The networks I have tested on are all 802.11g. Is this just normal because of the antenna size on the droid or is there something I can do to improve it? I feel like I have to be right next to the access point to have a good connection.

Feb 8, 2012know if there's a way to select a range (such as a date, like january first to february 8) of text messages to restore? It gets annoying sitting through the restoration of thousands of text messages, when really i only need the more recent ones.
I suppose a manual workaround this would be to have the application delete messages after x days...
General :: Should Update HTC One X HBOOT From 1.12 To 1.39
Jan 4, 2013I'm trying to run TripNDroid ROM (check here), but currently that ROM on 4.2.1 doesn't support my HBOOT, 1.12.
I checked me CID, which is HTC_304, and I see it is compatible with HBOOT 1.39.
Now, I read somewhere that if I update to a more recent HBOOT I might not be able to flash some ROMs only compatible with older HBOOTs. So, should I update my HBOOT or not? If so, how?
General :: Set Up Hboot Password?
Dec 4, 2011is it possible to set up a Hboot password, or if currently not, is it achievable? We all know the PC's BIOS can be password protected, and Hboot is rather like Android BIOS.
The reason Im asking is that since almost all new phones have sensor keys for menu, back, etc (instead of physical buttons), that cannot be used during boot, a thief who wants to install a new ROM on a stolen device can go only through Hboot with power/volume down, instead of jumping straight to recovery (power/menu) or fastboot like on my old MT3G, for example. Therefore, a Hboot password option would make stolen phones extremely difficult to crack, and would require way more than just average user knowledge how to flash a ROM.

Apr 25, 2012I've had an HTC Inspire for about 8 months now, with very little problems except the occasional frustrating frozen screen or two. A few months ago, I noticed that my "volume down" button wasn't working, so I would just manually change the volume through my settings. It wasn't a big deal, just irritating.
Last night, my phone was working just fine. I even remember waking up in the middle of the night and answering my texts.
This morning, I noticed it was turned off, so I attempted to turn it on, and it wouldn't work. Thinking it was dead, I plugged it in, got the "charging" screen, and attempted to turn it on again.
I got sent to the hboot screen. Unfortunately, it is not responding to the buttons being pressed. I've never rooted my phone, so I'm pretty sure this is all due to my volume down being stuck (and therefore hard resetting when I press "power.")
Is this fixable to the extreme novice (which I'm assuming it isn't)? Or, if as an AT&T customer, will they give me a replacement, or is this beyond their realm? I know when I lost my battery cover once, they wouldn't give me a new one and said I had to go to HTC.
