I have an HTC One X with Jellybean software. It plays most FLAC files but occasionally I download an album and it won't play on my Android phone although these same files play perfectly with VLC on my computer. Is there any player that I can install on my phone that will play all types of FLAC files?

According to Android Central, it can decode FLAC, but only in Android 4.0 and higher, and I'm currently on Android 2.3.4 on a HTC Amaze 4G...
Is there any software I could get, in order for it to decode/decrypt FLAC correctly?
I don't mind using any other lossless audio codec, as long as Android 2.3.4 supports it...

In other words, i have toshiba external drive 500 gb, tf101, samsung ace 2 phone, samsung tv and skifta program. The idea is, connect external drive to tf101, initiate skifta in tf101 and in ace 2 phone and by using phone initiate a movie on TV which is located in external drive? And here I come into a problem, i can play movies on TV that are on my phone, and those that are in TF101, but with skifta my ace 2 does not list movies that are on external drive which is connected to TF101 If i use only TF101 and skifta, i also can play on TV only those files, that are on TF101 but those which are on external HDD are not listed.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the problem that the default videoplayer in my ASUS Prime wont play all mediafiles, i have a 7" galaxy tab with 2.3.3 and a 10.1" galaxy tab 2.3.5 and the default player in thoose ones play all files.
videoplayer.apk i tryed to take the one from my 7" and install on the Prime but it dident work. I haven't found any other media app that i found as good as the default one?
i bought samsung galaxy s wifi 5.0 with 8 GB ram on SD and 32GB on external SD i downloaded games like MC 3 GT racing backstab and asphalt 6 but my SD memory is not enough for this apps (and another apps) how i can move the data files of the games to external SD and still play theme?

I have chosen for the music to be "on the device", and it plays when even in Airplane Mode, so I know it is not streaming, but the music files do not show up in my "Music" directory tree, or under any other file trees that I can find. I have used ES File Explorer to do a top down search for some of the missing titles, but it doesn't find them. I'm perplexed. There must be a cache somewhere, but I can't find it.

I just received my phone today, so I'm still a noob when it comes to all of this, so please forgive my ignorance.I just downloaded my digital copies of UP and WALL-E onto my Mac with the intention of putting them on my Evo to watch. I can watch them fine through itunes in .m4v format. Through research, I have found that m4v's are basically the same as mp4's and that the Evo should be able to playback m4v files.However, when I transfer to my SD card (I made a "Videos" folder in my SD card) the video shows up in the native Video player, but I get an error saying it's unable to play. Additionally, I have tried downloading Real Player and mVideoPlayer and those too can see the file, but can not play it back.So I decided to try to convert the m4v files to mp4 via Handbrake. Problem is, Handbrake crashes every single time I try to convert a video. I followed this step by step tutorial, but to no avail.

They aren't even showing up in the players although they are in the folder on the sd card. Is there a patch or something I can do to get cubed to recognize them? Its almost half my music. View 4 Replies View Relatedi noticed while putting movies on my phone storage, not my sd card, that files over 2 GB will not play. This is bad.I converted The Dark Knight the same as I convert all my other movies. It would play on my computer but not my phone. So I checked the "Details" of the file on my phone. It showed as 0 bytes when it should have been 2.09 GB.I thought it might have converted with an error. Converted it two more times. Same problem. Finally I converted it with a lower resolution to bring the size down to 1.8 GB. It plays just fine.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have multiple audio files in the assets directory of my application. When the user clicks a button I want to play those files in a certain order, one after the other. There shouldn't be any noticeable lag between the audio files. What is the best approach to achieve this? I am thinking of using MediaPlayer objects and OnCompletionListeners. But, that would mean I have to create a lot of OnCompletionListeners because I need to know every time which audio file is next. Am I missing something or is there a better approach?
