Is it possible to play audio via radio on android.i.e setting some frequency ex 88mhz..and we can play through fm recievers(similar to bluetooth audio) in cars.

I have multiple audio files in the assets directory of my application. When the user clicks a button I want to play those files in a certain order, one after the other. There shouldn't be any noticeable lag between the audio files. What is the best approach to achieve this? I am thinking of using MediaPlayer objects and OnCompletionListeners. But, that would mean I have to create a lot of OnCompletionListeners because I need to know every time which audio file is next. Am I missing something or is there a better approach?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm writing an Android application that plays back voice mails using Media Player, which are just WAV files that have been sent to the device. When I play the file, it's played on the device's speaker, or else it plays through headphones if they're plugged in. What I want to do is play the file so that it sounds to the user as if it's at the same volume level as a normal phone call. Is there a way to route playback so that the file is played through the phone's ear piece instead of out of the speaker?

I have two .m3u files and one .pls that I've tried in the stock player, Meridian, Astro mp, WinAmp Mobile, StreamFurious pro, and RadioHeart, but none of them will play it. Any media player or even a standalone program for Android that will play streaming radio files?

I had a bunch of music saved on my SD Card that I downloaded from VZW Music Media thing.
When I go to music on the Incredible and go over the song (it shows the picture of the album of the song)

In other words, i have toshiba external drive 500 gb, tf101, samsung ace 2 phone, samsung tv and skifta program. The idea is, connect external drive to tf101, initiate skifta in tf101 and in ace 2 phone and by using phone initiate a movie on TV which is located in external drive? View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the problem that the default videoplayer in my ASUS Prime wont play all mediafiles, i have a 7" galaxy tab with 2.3.3 and a 10.1" galaxy tab 2.3.5 and the default player in thoose ones play all files.
videoplayer.apk i tryed to take the one from my 7" and install on the Prime but it dident work. I haven't found any other media app that i found as good as the default one?
Has any1 else had any problems using an auxiliary audio cable to connect their droid to their radio in their car? I have been trying it out the last few days and have noticed "crackling" in the left speakers. If i fiddle with the Aux cable that plugs into the phone it clears up. But as soon as I let go its back. Has any1 else had this problem? Is the only fix to return the phone? I have a 39/09 btw.

As I have the kit to mount the Desire in the car (for Google Navigation) it was a straight swap of one charger for another.
You set a station on the radio and the sound from your phone is transmitted to the the car radio. A great product that is simple to use and just works. The sound quality is good and I am very happy with this product.
Note: Very slight hiss if you crank up the radio too much, better to increase the volume on the phone first.
