Samsung Galaxy S :: Play Html And Swf Files Offline?
Nov 7, 2010Question is there a way to play html and swf files offline? I have successfully updated my SGS to Froyo and flash works okay, but I would like to play html / swf files while not connected to the Internet. When I point my browser to local file, say file://sdcard/game.swf I get a message file not found. Anyone know a way how to do this?

Sep 14, 2010I have not been able to play avi files that I copied from my canon digital camera on my epic. Finally found a free video player called arcMedia which plays avi files, but the video quality is completely messed up. I read about Handbrake software using which we can convert avi files into mp4 files. But I have a huge collection of avi files and d not want to be converting every single avi file so I can play it on my epic. I also tried finding Rockplayer in android marketplace, but could not find it from my epic phone.

Jun 11, 2013Its hard to change the bootanimation and shutdown animation on Samsung devices because samsung uses a .qmg file that cant be edited without using the software for it, which is out there and I'll put up a link. Its very hard to do apparently and I not adept enough to mess with it. There's also other ways to enable custom animations by flashing special zip files created by smokin1337 and clarified by ReelFiles and using something like rom toolbox to add custom ones to your system/media folder. I was actually looking to see if could got in your system/media and audio folders and post the original .qmg bootanimation and samsungloop files. I have a verizon butI flashes my galaxy s3 over to metro pcs with everything working just fine so i would like to change my animation with the stock R530 variant. May 15, 2013I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 and i am banging my head against the wall because Play store won't open or do anything when connected to my wifi. it is however functional when wifi is turned off and only mobile data is active. Things i've tried (and still not working)
1. Cleared cache and data for Play store, google services, download manager and download.
2. uninstalled updates
3. Have tried seeing if anything has disabled and it hasn't, the last app on my 'all' is you tube
4. reset my phone to factory settings.
I feel like a pleb as I had this problem when I first got the phone but the clearing cache and data worked then and was fine for weeks but now nothing seems to work.

I watched a comparison video and it looks and seems much better.
I'm new to Android. This is my first Android phone and I love it.

Jan 22, 2013My samsung galaxy S3 is brand new and it wont download apps from the play store it gets to about 30% and then it stops everytime. if i connect to the wifi it works np, the wierd thing is it will let me update my apps on the mobile network but not download a new one. I have tried updating the phone, factory reset, stopping framework and removing google id and restarting the phone. I also tried putting my sim card in another Samsung Galaxy S3 but it still wouldn't download i then tried calling virgin and getting them to send me the apn details which i then installed but this was unsuccessful, so i went to the virgin store and they told me to get a new sim card, so i did but still it dosent work!!!
