I have just purchased a new Galaxy S4 and it is running Jelly Bean.
I was looking at increasing the photo quality but I only have 3 options: 640x480(0.3M), 1440x1080(1.6M) and 1920x1080(2.0M). I thought the phone was able to be set to 4128x3096(13M)?
Is there an option I need to turn on to display all the available qualities?

The camera in the Droid is said to be a 5 mega pixel camera. I have a 5mp Kodak point and shoot camera that takes really nice pictures that sometimes I can fool people into thinking I used a DSLR camera. Now the camera on the Droid which is said to be 5mp looks like crap in my opinion. I've taken pics in the daylight and at night and it looks grainy either way. I have played around with the white balance but mainly keep it on Auto. I own a Nikon D90 so I will use that to take any pics of importance.

Once I'm done drawing, I'll save the photo and it'll be the same as the original one, without any changes. I also can't use some apps like Snoopify or Catwang.

I know the directory where I need to do the undeleting but none of the un-delete programs I have gathered will show anything that makes sense when it comes to the phone.
When i plug in the phone to my computer I get 2 directories..
Phone and Card (card is my 32gb micro sd)
The pictures I would need to try undeleting would be in the following directory: ComputerSCH-I545PhoneDCIMCamera
I cannot find a way to have any undelete program scan that portion to recover files... I have even taken out the micro sd card which did not matter ..
I have a Galaxy S4 and every time I go to sync my photos there are a ton of random pictures that I have not taken or taken screen shots of. This is really annoying and there are pictures that I definitely do not want on my phone that are showing up. The odd thing is these pictures do not show up in my actual gallery on my phone, only when I sync it to my computer.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, after having to live with GPS that's at best flaky and at worst non-existent for the last three months I've now found something else related Samsung has managed to screw up. All the photos my phone has taken are geotagged with 0 lat, 0 lon. So, somewhere off the west coast of Africa. Other handsets I've used have tagged with the inexact location (i.e. cell tower fix) when an accurate location isn't available.
I would expect either this or no tag at all. Maybe while I'm stripping off the tags this evening I'll put in an order for a Desire HD. Thanks Samsung, I'm just about annoyed enough now to no longer care what fixes or updates you may choose to grace us with at some unspecified point in the future. Ok, that rant may have been a bit over the top but I do feel a little better now!
I'm a Tech-Moron, can someone please tell me how to do this? I plug in the phone to the computer with a USB connection and the computer doesn't seem to know that the phone is there. That's where I've been stuck for a month now. Like I said, I'm a tech moron.

I have not rooted, unlocked, etc. I can boot it into recovery mode volume/home/power, but before I try a hard reset, I'd like to get the photos and videos of my son's birthday off. I want an app that will resize the photo to a lower resolution (640 X 480) so that the file size is small enough to send it easily through email (over GPRS conn). View 2 Replies View RelatedSince I updated to Froyo when the official one was released for the UK my Gallery has been almost useless, it now sorts photos based on where they were taken which I don't want and it doesn't show any new photos/videos I take, possibly because the phone saves them to the external SD card now instead of the internal one. Is there anyway to fix this? I've looked everywhere for some gallery settings but I can't find anything, to change the sorting etc.. Or can anyone recommend a half decent gallery app? I just want something that shows the recent photos I've taken...
View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to be able to pull in google plus photos when using photoshop touch and autostitch apps etc. But their import options only access local folders on my device. I can download individual photos one at a time to a generic download folder from google plus to use, not full albums. When I try to create a new folder in gallery, and move the Picasa/Google Plus photos I get a notice saying "unsupported file." I read somewhere that there should be an option in gallery that makes photos available offline, but I don't have that. Just basically trying to be able to organize and download my g+ photos for use with these apps, in a less time consuming way.

If you look in the folders they are all still there but all of the old photo's have the same Authored Date (7/23/2003 6:36 PM) and the same Date Created (5/9/1970 11:20 PM) the Date Modified is unique as it is the actual date the pictures were taken... These files are not hidden. I do not remember exactly what day I upgraded to 4.3 but it would have been right around the time that the issue started. I tried Scan Media and Rescan Media apps with no success.
