I was looking at increasing the photo quality but I only have 3 options: 640x480(0.3M), 1440x1080(1.6M) and 1920x1080(2.0M). I thought the phone was able to be set to 4128x3096(13M)?
Is there an option I need to turn on to display all the available qualities?

Jul 7, 2013I'm using a Galaxy S4. I can't edit my photos using the built-in editing feature in the gallery (drawing lines and all). Once I'm done drawing, I'll save the photo and it'll be the same as the original one, without any changes. I also can't use some apps like Snoopify or Catwang.

I know the directory where I need to do the undeleting but none of the un-delete programs I have gathered will show anything that makes sense when it comes to the phone.
When i plug in the phone to my computer I get 2 directories..
Phone and Card (card is my 32gb micro sd)
The pictures I would need to try undeleting would be in the following directory: ComputerSCH-I545PhoneDCIMCamera
I cannot find a way to have any undelete program scan that portion to recover files... I have even taken out the micro sd card which did not matter ..

Apr 21, 2014I have a Galaxy S4 and every time I go to sync my photos there are a ton of random pictures that I have not taken or taken screen shots of. This is really annoying and there are pictures that I definitely do not want on my phone that are showing up. The odd thing is these pictures do not show up in my actual gallery on my phone, only when I sync it to my computer.

Oct 2, 2012got my BRAND NEW Galaxy S3 yesterday and so far I'm loving it. I'm having the "duplicate contacts" Android problem like a lot of others. I just couldn't seem to get it fixed no matter how much merging, joining, splitting, importing, exporting, manually deleting, etc., so I finally just deleted all my contacts. I deleted ALL OF THEM from the phone. I deleted ALL OF THEM from my gmail account. When I look at the Contacts list in my phone now, they are GONE. No more effing DUPLICATES, right? Wrong. Let's say I want to send a text to someone. I open "messaging" and start typing a name, and lo and behold, a list begins to populate with a bunch of %$#@! duplicate names. WTF do I have to do??? THIS IS A NIGHTMARE that has lost me literally DAYS worth of time trying to figure out. I have sync OFF.

My S4 auto delete my images, videos, music and documents once in a while like twice a month?
Basically, all files from "My Files" folder are deleted. My apps, contacts and sms-es are all unaffected. I don't have any SD card attached.
After that incidence, I decided to factory data reset my S4 as I suspected the software might be corrupted or infected by virus or something. The same thing happened again after 2weeks or so.

May 3, 2013I went to send a text message today, and all of my conversations had been cleared. This has happened once before about a year ago and I eventually gave up trying to restore my messages. How to prevent it? I'm thinking the message database is somehow getting corrupted which is why it's clearing out all of my conversations?
I'm running 2.3.3 - my phone was rooted at some point but I'm guessing after an OS update I lost that capability. This happened before the OS update and now after.

So at a point of time, in my application code, I want to query the android contacts content provider, and insert that information into my Database table through the content provider.
For this I have to query the content provider from android, get the cursor, loop over the android contacts, for each contact, insert using my URI, this becomes very bulky. Is there any work around? A bulk insert mechanism of some sort? Or at least pass an object to a URI, which can be the android cursor.
