General :: Galaxy S4 Active Will Only Charge When Plugged Into Laptop

For some reason my plug stopped working, ive only had my galaxy s4 active is only 2 weeks old. it only charges when plugged into my laptop or xbox, but when i plug it in the manufactured plug and usb cord the phone will not charge while on. when off, the phone just vibrates every 3 seconds. and will not charge.
it used to charge on the plug when i would have it already plugged into my computer for a little bit. but now it doest work anymore..

I wanted to charge my s4 on my laptop but when I came back to check on it an hour later it had lost 3 percent is something wrong with my phone? It charges fine and quick when I use the adapter that came with it but doesn't work with the laptop. I have an HP Pavilion dv6 it's 2 years old if that makes a difference.

I own an EVO - when I connect it to my Dell Vostro laptop it charges without any problems whatsoever. When I attempt to charge it from my work laptop (Dell Latitude) it never charges. I am not changing any settings, just simply unplugging it from the Vostro and then plugging it into the Latitude.

Got this phone yesterday and was all good. Let the battery run out and plugged it into charger overnite. Didn't charge.Tried the usb into the pc and got the battery with the lightning bolt symbol. Plugged into wall outlet wont work. What gives? I tried taking out the battery for 5-10 mins and still nothing. The guy at support asked if I could turn the usb the other way like I was an idiot, and I explained to him that it only goes in one way. Any ideas? I plan on taking it back if I cant solve it.

My phone recently has stopped charging when plugged into my laptop. I have tried 3 different USB cables so i know that's not the issue. Also when I plug it in the screen lights up so I know there is some sort of connection going on, it just does not charge.

My Samsung Galaxy S1 won't charge, I have to plug the charger in and then leave it at an angle to charge then it will fall in the middle of the night and die. Is there any cheap way to fix the charging port? I read to try to clean it out and I am going to try to do that but in case that back fires, anything that has worked?

i bought note 2 since 4 months . last week it stops charge ... i changed bettery ... still same ... changed charger ...still same .. BUT!!! now sometimes charges good and sometimes it shows that charging and it lighing red but it in fact it dose not charging.... and what drives me crazy is sometimes it charges good !!!! by the way phone is not rooted it still new i use it rarly....

I can't seem to find in the settings anywhere how to do this: I want to keep the display on whenever I am plugged in and getting power via USB on the Galaxy S. Have set up Portable Wi-Fi hotspot on my 4S 4.2.2. Everything seems OK and laptop identifies AP and connects to it
but there is no internet connection to the phone. Data 3G works perfectly - regular internet works perfectly - Orange UK.

the phone is unable to connect to Bluetooth on the laptop. it's paired but still refuses to connect. also the phone is also not shown as a modem on the device manager. Any idea where I can find modem drivers for the phone. I tried NPS and KIES but they both fail to find the device and do not install the modem drivers.

Is there a hidden setting somewhere where I can tell the phone not to charge when I plug in the USB data cable? So, please charge when I plug in the power adapter, but please don't charge when I plug in the USB data cable. The reason I'm asking is because with all of experimenting I'm doing, trying to get my USB PC to phone connection working, my battery is being overcharged. Yes overcharged to the extent that the phone has even popped up a message once or twice telling me to disconnect, that the battery is fully charged.
