my galaxy s3 , i first installed free turkish and russian keyboards but i didnt see how to switch to that then i installed swiftkey keyboard for $3.99 from google play store and still didnt see any difference on my keyboard. how can i activate these keyboards and switch back to english when i want?

I let Google Now set itself up on my S3 about 2-3 months ago. I thought it was kinda cool but I didn't feel like messing with it too much at the time. I did, however, see the "Search, or say Google" feature. I spoke the word "Google" and sure enough it activated, and I spoke the generic, "Where is the nearest restaurant?" just to see how it worked, and several restaurants were shown. Pretty cool, but like I said, I wasn't in the mood to dig into it much deeper at that time.
Fast forward to last night. I had some time on my hands and thought I would mess with this "Google Now" thing I've been reading about more and more. I add the Google Now widget to one of my pages easily enough. Then I tap it to get it started, and I see the familiar, "Search, or say Google" and I'm ready to play. "Google", I say. Nothing. I repeat it... "Google". Still nothing. I tap the microphone, and the screen changes to the Google logo in the upper left, a flashing red microphone in the upper right, and the words "Speak now" show up in the middle of the screen. Again, I do the "Where is the nearest restaurant?", just like I did before, and I wait for its response. The text from my question shows up on screen, but the mic in the upper right is still pulsing. I wait for about 30 seconds and finally tap the mic icon, thinking that will activate the question. No... it just goes back to the previous screen. I try this several times with different questions, each getting a bit more prophanity-laced as I'm losing patience. Finally I give up.
Then I see if my wife has Google Now activated on her Note 2. She doesn't, so I grab the widget and throw it on an empty screen. I tap the widget and Google Now starts. I see the "Search, or say Google", so I sternly say, "Google". It activates, I ask for the nearest restaurants, and it shows me several in the area. Why won't it work on my S3 anymore? I check the settings for voice and see Hotword detection is checked. I compare my settings to the settings on my wife's Note 2 and they're identical.
I've recently upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S II to Android 4.0.3 (COA - Romania) using Samsung Kies.
I sometimes have an issue:
- when I click the WiFi icon on status bar to activate wireless connection it partially gets green and stays locked for about 1-2 minutes. This happens every 6 or 7 attempts to connect using wireless.

A hollow triangle icon appeared on the top right corner of the screen beside the WiFi icon. When I call, it tells me to dial *611 and reactivate the phone. But when I called *611, it still asked me to dial *611. I tried a lot of ways to make it work but it never did. Then I tried doing the factory reset. I reset it, and it said i had to make a special call to activate the phone. So i pressed the activate button, i think it is supposed to give me instructions and tell me how to reactivate it but it didn't say anything and i'm now stuck on that page i couldn't go back couldn't do anything. I tried turning it off and turning it back on and it was still at the same page.

To track it and wipe the data follow the directions: Go to [URL]... log in and then click the settings gear under your account info. There should be an option for Android Device Manager.

I have an odd problem. When I press and hold the button on my Voyager Pro HD headset, it no longer activates voice dialing. I've tried uninstalling all voice related 3rd party apps; I've deleted the data and cleared the cache on Bluetooth Share, Voice Dialing and Voice Search.
I should add that my phone is a Vivid running 2.3.4 and HTC Sense 3.0.
I have a phone where Im trying to configure ActiveSync. It all goes "smoothly" because the account can be configured. The problem is when I try to view email on the configured account. It says that security policies have to be updated but I dont know where to go. I tried to remove and add the account again but I never see the "Activate" prompt where Im supposed to accept the security policies. Therefore, I don't see the Email app as a device administrator as I do on all the other users I have configured their accounts for.

Anyway, the onscreen keyboard doesn't activate when a type/search field has been tapped on the screen.
The OS is Android 4.1.1
He's other tablet which is the same works, but the screen is cracked so he bought another one of these hideous unresponsive pieces of crap.
BT keyboard for the EVO once it comes out.
This one is kinda big but it's fabric and rolls up so fairly small for storage. I'm not sure how compatible it is with Android or if special drivers would be needed.

I have tried to swapped virtual keyboards on my new HTC Evo- so far no luck. Here is what i have done- i installed a virtual keyboard like better keyboard or ultra keyboard-head over to settings-Language & Keyboard- and it gives me an option to click on whatever keyboard I want. Which I do, but it will not boot that keyboard- still goes to default. I have also restarted the phone afterward. No luck. Am I doing something wrong?

I really would prefer to use the stock keyboard for browser entry. The reason being the stock keyboard has a couple things I miss with Swype. Namely the cursor arrows (necessary with the EVO w/o a trackball) and voice search. So is there a way to set the default keyboard for Web, be stock while Swype would be default for everything else. Please tell me this is something I can accomplish....Yes, I know I can long pause to switch keyboards on the fly, I was trying to set default keyboards for diff applications.
