New to Android Central. I have galaxy s2 Rogers version (like a skyrocket). I installed Clean Master to be sure my ram stayed good. The past few days I have been getting a notification that ram is full. Just got the notification again and when I look at the Tasks folder in Clean Master it shows 738.35mb used and 49.72mb free.

When I did a search, but no results. How do I let the battery charge full speed? OR what Rom I Should to install?. Since I need till 3 hours to charge the battery, but use less than 2 hours to surf.

I have an ImageView that is defined in the following way.. Now after downloading a new bitmap I change the drawable. The image now appears in the top left corner of the ImageView. Is there a way to have the image fill up the whole height that is possible and then adjust the width of the view to enable scaling the image without changing the aspect ratio?

My problem occured when I start to install and uninstall many applications just for testing. I've seen that every installed and uninstalled application leaves some files that fills up this 150mb.
At my phone I had, CoPilot live + Several games + Google Earth. Now I've none and but when I try to install CoPilot or Google Earth I'm facing the fact that there is no space left.
I think applications might be leaving installer file behind when applications installed through HTC Sync, this might be the only logical reason.

Like for iPad, they get extra operating current 1600mA, so with the original 500mA the iPad is charging by 2.1A, right from the USB port. Even Blackberry Z10 gets the same treatment!
Can we do a OSX-side kext mod for Android to specify the extra operating current, such that Android charge faster on Mac? As most devices can take at least 1A nowadays.
Are Android Composite loaded by /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/IOUSBCompositeDriver.kext ? How can I locate and modify the field for extra operating current?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have 2 batteries for my phone, both of which show the exact same problems. The battery drains very quickly on standby (8 hours or so). It drains when off and if I turn off my phone and remove the battery for about an hour, it loses 10-20% of the battery. A lot of people told me it had something to do with the wakelock or some app but that's not what it is. Wakelock is fine and with stock apps only it still drains way to quickly. Airplane mode doesn't work either. It charges exactly as fast as it drains too.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a camera app that can be triggered via audio, but also take pictures at a SUPER fast rate.
I've found Sensor Camera. This, as the name suggests, allows for capture of photos through a variety of different sensor methods. Light, Sound, Motion, etc. It has great control over the audio input levels but takes way too long to process each photo between shots.
I've also found Fast Burst Camera. This is perfect!! From what I can tell it uses the video camera in order to get the frame rate up to 30fps. Setting this to single shot, with no image review, allows for amazing speed & control over capture.
Any app that combines the two? Or if not, would it be easy to make?
I charge at night, by noon its dead with never having turned it on.

At the top of my phone, on the status bar, there is a small icon of a red battery with a line through it. How did I start getting this notification and how do I get rid of it? It's like a spyware or something, I think.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using xperia p with stock JB (unrooted). I have to charge it twice a day without even any significant use.
Sometimes battery just drains out by 10% or so with just an eye blink! Battery details showed that it's staying awake (or something is making it stay awake) while in sleep. Tried using BetterBatteryStats to find the draining app. But just 'kworker' and 'admsrv (or something like this)' seemed to be the only problems. Tried flashing and/or factory resetting 5 or 6 times and still no improvement.
Battery of desire hd drains very fast even in the deep sleep. Tried every rom did full wipe turned off wifi gps etc tried every thing but no luck i tried current widget it not below 60 MA. Is it the problem of battery or the hardware? and when i switch to airplane mode amazingly it goes to 2 MA.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI know this is a personal problem and not one with the phone itself, but its really frustrating that I just cant seem to get fast at all with this keyboard. It honestly seems like it dosent even keep up with my fingers and isnt always responsive when I press a key quickly. I tried taking off of the auto-correct and spell-suggestion functionalities and still have the same problem. One of the reasons why this is such a huge problem for me is because I am used to typing blazing fast, on a computer I type about 80wpm and on every phone that I have ever had with a keyboard I never actually tested myself but I had to be typing even quicker than 80wpm, I was suppppper fast without even looking at the phone about 50 percent of the time (in school). I knew that it would be harder to type on a touch screen phone, although I thought the massive screen would it make it pretty easy, and I messed around a little with the touch keyboard on the cliq and I started to pick it up a little but I just cant seem to get fast at all on the Evo. So I just wanted to know if anybody has any tips for me or any altv. keyboards that I can use, although I did try a couple already (pro keyboard and droid x keyboard) and none of them really seemed to make any difference. Also I want to point out that I had the ipod touch for about a year now and I am very quick at typing onthat even though I hardly ever have to type on it.

Wow, just ran a Short Bench of 158. Sorry but that's damned quick at 1.19. Linpack just logged in at 39.19 - wow! Best I ever did with Snap was 38. Holy moly, just ran a Quadrant of 2242! I am thinking maybe having that partition I used in Snap 7.1 helps this kernel along too? My scores seem to be blowing everyone else away. Must be the partition all else being equal. (Apparently the partition speeds up read/write speeds).

With my old dumb phone I was able to set a timed alarm in just a few button presses. I'd like to find an app that I would open, type in a time, and have it set, ideally as an alarm in the Clock app. Is there anything like that out there? All the alarm clock apps I've looked at seem to take a lot of time to set an alarm, or only do countdown timers.

I just got my Desire last week, upgrade on Vodafone from a Samsung Omnia, and this one is by far THE best one ever. PRO: with 1Ghz cpu it runs like the wind apps:lots of them and till now haven't had any problem with any game or app, one of my favorites is AndFTP...use it to conect to my computer via wifi to get all that i need GPS: i can't belive how fast it conects it self to satelites, i haven't tested it on a cloudy day, cause it been all sunshine these days. the time it took to conect was les then 10 sec out side, and less then 30sec-1 min indoor near a window. with my previous phones N95-8G and Omnia, if it was sunny...2-3 min, cloudy-more the 5min...sometimes 10min, and indoor by the window...never...got sick of waiting more than 10-15 min. display...it's big enough network conection....never fails...full signal anyware, unlike my wifes sam jet on "3" network witch kind of suck, outside signal quite good, but indoors....is more or leass with no signal came preinstalled with a sandisk 4g microsd card very thin-for what it has inside....
-can't install apps on sdcard (why is that???is that how all andoird OS are? do i have to root it, and if so is it possible to root the desire?) low memory on the phone to install apps and games...it practicly asks for rooting wheres all the memory???...on gsmarena and other sites...at the desires specs the Internal memory si 576 MB RAM; 512 MB ROM, and i use smart monitor lite and at system my it says my memory is 398.34, and at storage (/systems+/cache+/data adds to 250+40+147=437)...can't properly close and app -no DIVX...come one...why???..
I have a HTC Magic running the latest version of CyanogenMod 4.The battery was fine on my phone, till yesterday when it started draining within a couple of hours (while on standby). Clearly something is wrong as usually the battery would last most of the day if it was on standby.I thought it was an application, so I uninstalled everything I installed in the last day or so.

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor years now I've maintained a Tandy Color Computer Emulator applet on my home page. With the purchase of an Incredible I decided to do a port. Getting it going in Android didn't take long but I'm really surprised how slow it runs. You can literally see the pixels painting. I know there are other successful Android emulators so I must be doing something wrong.
My approach was to use a SurfaceView for rendering. There's a separate thread that runs a virtual 6809 CPU. Whenever that thread updates the emulated video memory, it calls SurfaceHolder.lockCanvas() with a Rect describing the part of the screen requiring a repaint. Then it calls the gfx routines with the resulting Canvas...this is where I did a repaint() in AWT/Swing. The gfx routines are smart enough to just render what's in the clipRect. Perhaps I'm still stuck in AWT but I can't think of any way to make this thing run at an acceptable speed. I tried to coalesce the gfx calls but that didn't work either. Any thoughts?
