I have a Droid Incredible 2 and I purchased a wallpaper and am unable to edit it with any apps, I can't even send it to the SD card. Is there any way to make it fit correctly on the screen? right now it's really big.

This is a question for those proficient in photoshop/gimp/etc When making a wallpaper for the Inc and it's limited color gamut AMOLED screen what are/is the tools used to make them smooth not showing that ugly dithering (correct word?)? Here is an example below...it looks beautiful on my PC screen (H-IPS panel).

The HTC wallpaper shows correctly but the resolution of wallpaper set from my photos seems to be about 800x600. The onscreen size remains the same regardless of the original photos size, I've tried everything from 340x480 down to thumbnail and it stays the same.
Also when I try to load a photo as wallpaper I get a horizontal crop box even though the screen is obviously vertical.
I downloaded pictures off the internet and tried to set them as my background, and it says "This picture has been set as wallpaper" But its just the default wallpaper. So then I tried the Bar code scanner wallpapers and Android themes.com and same thing!

My one question is i seen the post hat say the resolution or size is 960wx800h but is that just for the main screen and that will scroll to all 7 pages what i was wondering if not, what does the width of a picture have to be to scroll the total of the 7 pages, like i have a long width wise wallpaper and wanted to make it expand to a diff image on each page. sorry for the trouble and if the 960 already covered that,

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought some cool skins on ebay which 3 came for $10 which you can find stupid easy with a search but they come with matching wallpapers but when I put them on they go on as images and of course we don't get the full image you have to zoom/crop it and you dont get the whole image. Photobucket might resize this so I hope it works but this image I want as a full size. Is there a certain folder to put it in to get it to full size?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been reading through the manual for the Desire and it states that you can have a different lock screen wallpaper to the wallpaper when the screen has been unlocked.
However, I can't seem to manage this at all.
Does anyonw know if this is possible or if it is an error in the HTC manual?
The reason being I would like to have a nice bright lock screen image but a normal black background for when apps and widgets are all over it.
I recently got my incredible and i love it, I have 2 issues with it, first is battery but you know downloading stuff all day long will tank a battery the other. I cannot put a picture on the wallpaper on my phone. If I do, it changes it to the HTC colors. I can however post any live wallpaper just not any pictures. This is become a great irritation and I am uncertain if this is a software or hardware problem.

After I set the picture or whatever and crop it, I return to the home screen and the Colorful Bubble HTC Wallpaper always shows up instead, only the live wallpaper really works all the time.
