Motorola Droid X :: Way To Go Back To The Old Lock Screen Icons?
Sep 22, 2010I received Froyo this morning on my droid X. Is there any way to go back to the old lock screen icons. I hate the look of the 2.2 versions.

Jan 6, 2013tell me the resolution of the lock screen icons for the 4.1/4.2 lock screen or better yet provide me with a link to some icons usable for the JB lockscreen.See I have a pack of plain white vector icons, however when changing one my lock screen shortcuts to a custom app, there are no default icons suitable so I use the vector icon but it's about 5 times bigger than the other icons!
As it's the lock screen I'm not having the easiest time getting a screen shot to demonstrate what I mean but I'm sure you can envision what I'm talking about.

Sep 22, 2010I have a question on how to change icons back to the theme version after an app update. So after an app updates it changes back to the stock icon. Can I just reapply the theme and get the icons back to the themed version or do I have to wait until the dev updates the theme?

Jul 29, 2010on the droid x, i found this to be VERY simple. press and hold the icon, then once it is unmounted slide to left of right. once the green "highlight" appears on that side, the sscreen moves as well as the icon.i had the original droid and dont think it was this easy, though im not sure i ever tried.

Aug 14, 2010Tried to search but couldnt find anything on this.
Here is what is happening with my Droid. I have the official release on my Droid and when I leave and app (Like Dolphin or Handcent) my icons on my home screens take 5-10 secs to refresh and it can take another 5 seconds before my home screen will react to any touches.
Also when I unlock my phone it can take close to 20 secs sometimes (not all the time) for my icons to come in and it takes at least 5 secs no matter what to get my screen to react to any touches.
Is anyone else having this issue? What can I do? Now I almost wish I had never updgraded to 2.2.....
General :: How To Get Back Old Lock Screen Notification
Mar 15, 2014How to get back my old lock screen notification from 4.1.2 android (I9300XXEMG4)? After flashing to my new Stock ROM 4.3 (I9300XXUGMK6) i got different and so frustrating lock screen! What i must to change in android sistem to get back my old notification circles? I have old ROM extracted in .EXT4 file and mounted into "ext2explore" and all resources from it, also have fully rooted device on my new 4.3 andorid. I tried to replace "OmaDrmPopup.apk, OmaDrmPopup.odex" from old ROM, and also tried to replace "PopupuiReceiver.apk, and PopupuiReceiver.odex" but nothing happend. What .apk is responsable for that lock screen notifications i want? See attached images to understand my problem.
Phone: SGS3 i9300
Current ROM: STOCK I9300XXUGMK6 (android 4.3)
Old ROM: STOCK I9300XXEMG4 (android 4.1.2)

Nov 16, 2009Has anyone else noticed their icons moving around [by themselves] on the home screen? A couple of days ago, the "Phone" icon suddenly appears on the left-most home screen rather than on the center one. Today, I discovered that I had 2 Gmail icons on my home screen. I thought that it was my imagination, but this has happened a couple of other times.

Jun 10, 2010In the past, when listening to music on my Incredible, if I locked the phone the music would continue to play just fine. If I wanted to pause/play/skip a song, all I had to do was hit the power button and above the "Slide to unlock" bar there was a music control bar.
Now, my music still plays, but those buttons are gone from the lock screen. This is a pain because in order to pause my music when someone comes to my desk at work I have to hit the power button, unlock the phone, slide down the notifications window, wait for the music app to load then hit pause.
Anyone know how to get these buttons back?

Aug 22, 2010Before I updated to 2.2 I turned off the default lock screen and kept off through the update process and now with 2.2 there is no option to turn it back on only the pin, password and pattern options are available. Anyone have a suggestion as to how to get it back?

Nov 13, 2010Well if you use widget locker, and a security lock, Froyo Forces you to: Unlock widget locker lock screen, then undo the lock screen, then enter your security code. However with Android Eclair 2.1, there is an option to turn off the screen lock. From my understanding, if you had the lock-screen disabled when you do the update, it will remain disabled after the OTA. However there is no longer any way to enable it because Google removed the option. As most people would find that bad, it should allow me to use widgetlocker, and a security lock without having to unlock the screen twice. Or of course, just use widget locker, as I have no intention of going back to the stock lock screen.
