Instead of seeing the boring old Android logo or my service provider's logo, I'd love to see the standard text-based Linux boot screen that shows the status of all the hardware and configuration info as my phone boots. My current phone is an HTC EVO 3D running Cool ICS with Sense 3.6 and Revolutionary CWM.

I am trying to do some low level performance testing related to device processor cores through adb which I feel it is affected by Android background services and system stuff.
As I know that the Android boot sequence stages are as follow:
1.Execute Boot ROM code.
2.Execute the boot loader.
3.Load the Linux kernel.
4.Launch Zygote, which initializes the Dalvik VM.
5.System server which loads the Android system.
So my question is how can I interrupt this sequence to force it stop on stage 3 to load Linux kernel. This can implement my intermediary performance testings before loading again Android system.
Does Fastboot or Clockworkmod recovery can load my device to a kind of Linux kernel?
Recently I flashed to this ROM [URL] .... from a stock ROM. Have done it a few times before and no problems have occurred. It's an MIUI rom and I decided to customize the theme a little. The themes section allows to change most of the detail ie fonts, status bar, home screen, lock screen, icons, boot animation.
And that's where it started, when I changed the boot animation, instead of using the default one. When I did a reboot after the switch, the usual boot logo was up, but then the screen turned pixelated like a CRT monitor/damaged LCD screen with colourful pixels. But then in boot into the new animation all fine, and has been ok since. The device boots fine, but I'm worried about that pixelated screen.

I have seen threads about how to change the boot logo/animation, but no one knows how to remove the animation entirely. I would like the verbose boot to display on start up if possible. Has anyone done this? I have seen something similar with the android on iphone(at 1:53 in the video)

I tried installing Tranquility and must have screwed something up because now my phone won't boot past the Motorola Logo. It's been sitting here like this for about 15min and I can't even boot into recovery by holding the power and home buttons. I don't know what else to do now. Idk if my phone is bricked but even if it is don't I need the SBF file to unbrick it and I can't find that file any where. I did a nand backup or whatever before doing any of this so hopefully that can help me. What should I do now?

I spoofed my device S6312 to galaxy nexus using network spoofer to download an incompatible game from google play store.According to network spoofer everything worked great but nothing actually happened and that game was still incompatible on play store.So I launched network spoofer and told it to recover my device again to S6102.It said that the device will reboot so I gave it permissions and my device started rebooting but it stop at the Samsung logo and was doing the same thing again and again so s actually boot looping. The phone is rooted and that's it, I haven't had time to put a new ROM or anything yet (although I would love to) and I can't seem to get into any type of recovery mode, and I think I have tried all of the button combinations, the only time that I can get it to show something other than "sharp" is when I plug it in, it shows a charging battery.

After many attempts to unlock it for all providers i managed to get stuck on boot screen.
I have:
Bootloader - unlocked
Access to TWRP but touche screen isn't working (Tried 3 vsrsio to make it work, but still touch isn't working)
I think my IMEI is "zero"
I can enter flashboot mood
I can enter pink screen
I tried to install stock ROM from huawei but i get error at step 2/2, same with custom ROM.
I don't have IMEI backed up.
I have a Garmin-Asus A10 that i wanted to change its font using Type Fresh app. When the font changed the app required a reboot,, but when the phone rebooted it became unable to boot after the garmin-asus logo anymore !!
I tried a hard reset using the volume keys pressed with the power button but it displays "**WIPE USERDATA**" on the top left corner and nothing happened.There is an option to hold the volume up key with the power button that displays " USB POLLING MODE " in a blue screen.
My phone now is not able to boot properly and freezes on the startup logo.
