I knew that Naver-Line supposedly can backup each chat session individually but in my case, the number of chat sessions are almost 100. Is there any way to backup whole history chat of Naver-LINE without rooted permission.

I have a chat backup of line chat for android, there is a way to open or convert it in plain txt? The file its a zip with 2 files inside one has no extensions, for example:
chat1245
and
chat1245.extra
I have a Samsung nexus 1 and every time I go into Google chat (I have never logged out) there is less and less history...right now this is the only way I can go online. Wondering why this is happening! Is my chat history saved in my Gmail? (Haven't been able to check yet)

Ive tried it with titanium backup, but the app crashes on load using the moto g.
I've googled this to death and cant find much.
The app on my xperia was built in to the phone and seems to be developed by gracenote.
There is a Sony version on play store which is virtually the same but updated and slicker looking.
Ideally I'd like to use the new app, using the history from the old app, but have read the databases are incompatible.
I've looked for the file that holds the history but cant find anything.
As a last resort, I'll start again with the new app, but would like to extract the history from the old trackid on my xperia and save as a text file. I dont really want to have to type /write down the list manually!
I copied the whole WhatsApp folder from File moved it to a new Android device. I replaced the whole WhatsApp folder on the new device. I cannot retrieve the chat history ....

I'm going to flash (format) my Samsung Galaxy S2 (both the external sd and internal sd) . My phone is not rooted. But there are some app's data that i want to backup before formatting.Those are some of my games' progress,Mozilla Firefox's history,bookmarks etc,Opera Mini history etc. , and the songs i tagged in Shazam.How am i supposed to do that since i know that you can't backup app data such as game progrees if your phone is not rooted ? View 14 Replies View RelatedI've just rooted my 3UK Hero using the Goldcard method, as I want the 2.1 sense ROM installed onto my phone. I've loaded the 1.5 software. I've rooted using instant root - I know this much has worked as I've been able to install the apps which require root access.
I'm sure I've been following the guide to the letter (otherwise I'd never have got this far with it). However, when I start up the phone in recovery mode, I don't get the option of backup/restore.
I turn the phone back on, by holding the home and power key. After the Hero logo, I get a triangle with a '!' in and underneath that, is a little picture of a phone. So I press Home and Power again and the Android system recovery utility screen appears. I get the following options:-
reboot system now [Home+Back]
apply sdcard:update.zip [Alt+S]
wipe data/factory reset [Alt+W]
At the bottom of the screen is the following message:
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command
I've had two HTC hero's on T-Mobile, and on my old one I used to be able to check the time I made or received a call on the 'call history' display. I had that phone stolen and got a replacement that is identical but running newer software, I think. All is great, except for the fact that it no longer displays the time a call was made or received in the history. I see this as a very important feature to have on a phone, so how can I get it to work properly? At present it just says the date - no time.
