General :: Android Studio - ADB Rejected Connection To Client

debugging an application from the new enviroment Android Studio. When i press the debug logo, it installs on my device successfully, however i get this message constantly from the ADB Log (DDMS): "DeviceMonitor: Adb rejected connection to client '19322': closed" thus i cannot debug.
I have tried rebooting PC and rebooting device several times.I'm running Avast AntiTheft which has an option to prevent USB debugging, but that one is disabled.

I have a nasty problem with the adb and my Galaxy Nexus (CM10 nightly-20120926). The ADB seems not to work properly. Every time I start my app within Eclipse it gets installed on my Galaxy Nexus and the LogCat window show some output. So far so good. But suddenly ADB stops writing messages and the "Console" windows shows a lot of messages like:

From now on the ADB does not output messages any longer. I have to reconnect my Galaxy Nexus to my USB-Port to restart the debugging.
And some messages I generate by using "System.out.println();" are never displayed also!
My onCreate() method looks like

I'm trying to set up a VPN connection between a Linux Mint 10 PC (server) and a Nexus 7 (client).
All I'm getting so far is a "Connecting" status from the Nexus 7, followed after a few seconds by a "Disconnected" one.
As it is my first attempt at setting up a VPN (both on the server and client sides) I was wondering if there was a log file generated by Android on the Nexus that would give me a clue as to where I'm going wrong.

I guess it is a old issue, and I have googled the related message in the group, and I think I do not miss anything: 1. I made the MD5 fingerprint of the SDK debug dertificate by keytool, and I applied the maps api key, refer to //code.google.com/android/ toolbox/apis/mapkey.htm 2. I added the apikey into my layout xml; 3. I added <uses-library android:name="com.google.android.maps"/> into my manifest xml;
but I still met this error, btw ,I have set the http_proxy in setting table, and I can use browser to visit network. has somebody succeeded to get a map on emulator other than device? could you give me some tips about it?

This is so wierd, i got this error: ERROR/MapActivity(258): Couldn't get connection factory client
everything worked fine, it's all of a sudden, how come that happens?
i know my api key is fine, coz one month Ive been using it perfectly.
how come all of a sudden it doesn't show me up the map activity, and posting that error in the logcat?

During handshake between client and the server, I want to have server certificate authentication as well as client certificate authentication. The server certificate authentication is successful. But I don't know how to send client certificate to server for authentication, during the handshake.

I've googled stuff about any IDE or at least an app for android that would be able to compile, but then I ended up with nothing. I've heard Surface Pro would support Visual Studio, so I thought, wouldn't the Android be able to handle that too? I would go for the Surface Pro but rumor has it that the starting price would be $900, and that hurts my pocket. Are there any Android apps or hacks that would enable me to compile even the simplest console applications? I was thinking of getting a tablet instead of a laptop for my programming classes.

I was running Android 4.4, rooted and CWM installed. Got a notification for 4.4.2 update being ready (like, a week after upgrading to 4.4), and tapped it. Phone reboots into debug mode to install it, but then CWM starts yelling at me saying this zip I'm trying to install is unsigned.
So I stop the upgrade. Phone reboots back into Android 4.4 and I don't get the update notification icon again.
Two questions:
- will I get the update prompt again? if not, can I do it manually while keeping all my stuff like happened on the 4.4 upgrade?
- is the Android 4.4.2 update really unsigned? is there a danger in accepting it?
I'm not sure what to do now since I didn't have CWM flashed when I did the upgrade to 4.4, which went completely smooth.

I use Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro MK16I. (Rooted, Bootloader unlocked).
Recently I had issues syncing contacts with Google, Fb etc and I had to do a factory reset of the phone. Since then I've following issues so far.
1. Incoming calls are getting rejected automatically
2. Silent, Flight mode are missing when I press the power button
3. When I'm in some application and if I press the Menu/Home button, it does not take me to the home screen and nothing happens
4. Windows can't detect or install the drivers for the phone, even if I do it through the 3rd party sources windows still doesn't show it.

I have just received my second Galaxy handset as replacement from O2 after returning the first with what appeared to be some sort of hardware fault that caused calls to be rejected before pickup quite often just at the moment of touching the phone! I was quite happy with O2 and the way they dealt with the situation and couldn't wait for the new unit but sadly it has arrived with the very same issues as the last one and O2 are again confident that its a hardware fault and now want me to choose some other phone!

I'd like to set up Android SDK with Netbeans or Visual Studio 2010. I am coming back to Windows programming after 3 months on Apple iMac (for iPhone programming).Would somebody be able to explain how to set up the NetBeans environment so I can compile and test Android Apps directly form NetBeans.I will be testing on a simulator, not a real device. My platform is Windows 7 Ultimate.It seems I can't use Eclipse even if I wanted to. It can't find the Java VM DLL.

A few times, when I've received a call when my phone's been in my pocket, I've accidentally rejected the call when removing the phone from my pocket i.e. I've inadvertently made the screen gesture that cancels the call. Has anyone found a way of modifying the call answer / reject options to avoid this situation?

I've done a few searches yesterday on the forum concerning an issue I'm having with the installation process of the Samsung New Pc Studio for my Samsung i7500. After I wish to upgrade my firmware from 1.5 to 1.6 or higher if possible. (Is it possible to upgrade to Froyo 2.2 ?) I have downloaded the following file from Samsung's web site to install the New Pc Studio: New_PC_Studio_1.5.1.10064_2.exe which seems to be a recent file (2010). At the end of the extraction the installation process begins and shows me this nice error message: PC Studio Issue Error Message on Twitpic. Whatever I press YES, NO or CANCEL, it cancels the installation process.

Only problem i bumped into is that 'new pc studio' software doesn't see the i7500 as a valid phone, so no synchronising with outlook etc yet. The 'new pc studio' software which is included sees the i7500 but says it is a not recognized device must be a usb driver missing. Hope samsung new studio software wil accept android phones soon, Kinda stupid to include a software cd which doesnt work with the included phone. Also transfering mp3's through the phone in solid disk option crashes all the time.

recently bought a car in CHINA and it came with a Android powered dvd/navigation/fm/player/etc. I have it already connected to a Mobile WiFi over the China Mobile via a USB WiFi Dongle and downloaded some apps. Some apps I use are blocked in china (TuneIn Radio, Pandora, etc), and i'm looking for a way to have a VPN on it.
The thing is that the manufacturer of the device removed the VPN network settings, so I can't connect (or it is absent on the Android 2.3.4 ). is there a way to install some kind of VPN Client on this android? I already have a paid VPN Account and use on my apple devices.

My company only allows mobile access to corporate e-mail through WIndows phone. As an Android advocate, i prefer my own mobile device.
My only two choices are to access through my Android Chrome browser or find a way to make my Jelly-bean Android mail app look like it is a Windows phone. ...or a 3rd part mail app that looks like a Windows/windows phone mail client
I prefer the mail client route as it keeps in sync with updates.
