Android :: Web Application For Transfer Mobile Balance From Recharge Sim?

I need to make a web application for mobile phones so that I can transfer balance from a 'recharge sim' (SIM card used to send balance to other mobile SIMs) located in whatever country to other 'non- recharge sims'. I can't find any resource - documentation, tutorial, forum discussion, programming language etc. Where should I start? What materials, etc, are out there? Is there any open-source project I could refer to? More precisely- which package and methods of which language should I use?

When I bought my G1 the guy in the shop used his own gmail account to demonstrate and forgot to reset the phone. I got home transfered all my contacts into the G1 from my old mobile which then died. I only have my contacts on the G1 now and no other back up copy. My problem is that the shopguy's gmail is still the default account and I need to do a factory reset. I am unable to synch my contacts with my own gmail account. I am unable to download apps from the market as I dont know the shopguy's password. I am therefore unable to back up my contacts before I reset the phone.
I have been looking for ways to back up my contacts to my PC so that I can reset the phone and then export them back and synch them with gmail via the G1. It seems impossible to do using the USB cable? It is also not possible to save the contacts to SIM or the memory card? I have looked into using sites like zyb or vodafone 360 for backing up my contacts online but they dont seem to work with the G1?

My WM touch 3G is no longer function properly, I plan to switch to Sony Experia S. It comes a problem that how all my data stored in WM transfer to android, especially appointments and call log in my old WM transfer to the new android. I usually backup my WM calendar data by PIM backup and the backup file is .csa. Originally I plan to import this .csa file to Outlook 2010, then export to Business Calendar Apps or Gmail. However I find this .csa file cannot be recognized by Outlook. how to export my WM calendar and import to Business Calendar Apps or Gmail? I would prefer to export it to Business Calendar Apps as I don't want to store my personal calendar in google server. I am also looking for how to transfer the call lot too, I try to keep it as possible.

I'm kind of a light weight user of cell phones anyway. But now I'm using my first smart phone, An HTC Incredible, and it seem to me that I need a daily battery recharge even without using a lot of GPS, apps,etc. Any help with what to turn off, or general information on what kind of battery life to expect would be appreciated.

The AT&T manual advises you to fully charge your battery when you get it while samsung tells you what I have always heard, which is to fully drain and recharge the battery when you first get the phone. This is what I have always done. Is fully discharging and then recharging the right thing to do? I would assume so, but I want to hear it from you guys.
Second. After the problem, I have become damn near paranoid on charging the phone. Since the purchase I ran it down completely until the phone shut itself down. I then fully charged the phone in one sitting. Am I now free to plug and pull when I need to? Should I do a couple more full cycles? God, this all sounds silly even while typing this..lol, but I have been sitting it opposite rooms because I am afraid to move the phone and break the charge...lol. God...I feel dumb. Don't laugh too much...Maybe I am?

My Droid X recently dropped to a low enough battery level that it powered off by itself. I plugged it into a wall charger almost immediately, but since then it has been unable to power on.Now the green light indicator comes on steady, turns off, and then the Motorola symbol comes up and then goes away, and then the green light turns on again.Its been charging for about 45 minutes and I'm starting to get a bit worried. Is this normal or is there something wrong?

I have micromax p300 tablet with custom rom cyanbook0.4.Yesterday I used it till the battery got to zero Percent and it automatically switched off.Now I am not able to chare the battery.Whenever I connect the charger or mini usb it shows a battery icon with Excalamatory mark ( ! ) in it.

I tried the to update software on my X2, and ota all went fine until the last step - installing the updates on my phone, there it failed with massage that it could not install and I should check my battery and then that I should try again after recharge. I tried after recharging and still the same error. Now I cannot even start my phone - after switching on it stops with SonyEricsson symbol and hangs there. I need the phone.

I finally managed to get my phone rooted and onto 2.2 a while ago, but today I went to use the camera (don't use it that often)and noticed the colour balance was really messed up, it made everything really red. I assume this is a 2.2 issue.

I wish to know if there is any mod or hack to improve the whiteness or brightness of the pictures taken by HTC cam ( HTC EXPLORER) in particular..
Images under low or moderate light come out quite dark..and white balance settings in HTC explorer camera app are just a few preset like daylight cloudy incandescent..

My company is a Hong Kong based company and my app has been hosted by my good friend in America under his Android Market account. Now that Google announced support of selling app in my region, I want to move the app back so to avoid more hassle to him for tax reporting etc.
Do you know a formal way either:
- Check the existing Google Checkout account from one country to another, or - To move the app ownership from one Android Developer account to another.

This comes up because I am changing the model for my freed and paid apps. Besides all the other things I need to figure out to build this (I'm trying the library method), I'd like to transfer preferences smoothly from DEMO app to paid App. I'm sure that some of you are old hands at this and can give some advice. I've tried the Demo and License, where a license app will unlock the Demo app and make it full.
The Market users can't handle that. My customers didn't want to have two app icons once they installed the license. So I made it invisible. Now I have users that say they can't "open" the license after purchase. It states very clearly in the app description that they need to install the free version first, but I've discovered that not everyone reads that vast 325 character description before buying even some of the most expensive apps on the Market.
I've decided not to fight it. I do believe that customers will be more happy overall and there will be less refunds, if they do try the demo app first. It gives them 16 days to try instead of 24 hours to get a refund. But I'm not going to force that. So, I'll be going down the Demo and Full model route. Just as an aside, I really wish the market would support time limited trials. There is difference between real support and faking it as I have been.

I have developed my first small Android application using Eclipse and managed to transfer it to my Samsung Galaxy S mobile phone.
My collegue at work has got another Android mobile phone running the same version (Android 2.1).
How can I give him my new application without him needing to install an development environment? Is this possible ?
It's an internal program so I don't want to publish it to the Android market (at least, not just yet).

Got some great help last night getting setcpu up and running and there is some difference, mostly because I'm using LWP. I just had some questions on setting it up correctly. On the main page, you have the two scroll bars (I have both set to 710 and haven't had any problems) , under that is the Scaling option, What exactly does that do, and how should it be set for the balance between performance and battery life?
Follow up question, under profiles, is there any recommended profiles I should set up? Currently I have Screen off: 528/528 on demand with priority 50 (not sure what all of this means though). Are there any others that should be established?

I need some serious help locating a sms app to transfer text messages from my phone to email or to my SD card. I mean both text and pictures. I have a weakness for saving text messages and have over 7500 for one person. This causes my phone to force close, freeze and texting now takes over 15 minutes to text people.

I have a Galaxy S3 that I got a couple months ago, love it but there's just this one problem. The headphones that I was using at the time that I got it were a little damaged so the left side was quieter than the other. I used the accessibility option to shift the sound balance to the left so that it would be balanced. A little bit after the most recent update (4.3?) rolled out I happened to purchase new headphones so I went to switch the sound balance back, but to my surprise there was no longer the "sound balance" option in the accessibility menu. It seems like the settings for the sound balance managed to stay how they were but the actual option to change them disappeared. This makes it extremely hard to listen to music in headphones and when I plug my phone into car speakers it's much louder on the left side of the car.
I know that Poweramp and Rocket Player both have sound balance options, but I often use apps like Songza, Google Play Music, and Soundcloud so buying the full version of Poweramp wouldn't cut it. No equalizers gave me the sound balance options I needed either.
If I absolutely have to I guess I could do a factory reset of my phone, but that's the last thing I want to do as it would be a huge hassle to transfer all the music/pictures/apps back onto the phone.
