Android :: How To Get Spy Texting App?
Jul 28, 2010I have a question. What spy apps can someone put on their phone and then type in the number they want to spy on to get a copy of the text messages they send and receive? I ask because a friend of mine just called from their work number saying their baby daddy just sent her a text message, she sent to someone else followed by a text asking how long she has been talking to him. LOLL I'm not on that type of stuff but dang that is funny to me. She said he hasn't installed anything on her phone cause she has her phone pattern locked (however you can see the pattern when you look at her phone). But I was wonder does anyone know of a program you can put on and Evo phone that would allow you to do this.

May 16, 2010I'm looking at getting a smart phone, but I have a couple questions about Android apps. Specifically, is there an app that lets me send texts via data? Verizon makes me buy a data plan, and if I want unlimited texting, its a different plan. So I end up paying for unlimited texting, AND data. If I can get away without spending the extra 20 a month and just using an app, I'd do that. Anyways, sorry if this question has been answered, I searched and didn't see anything.

Nov 1, 2010I have been looking at custom lockscreen and I am trying to decide between Widget Locker and GOTO lockscreen. I was wondering if anyone had any opinions they would like to give me. I would really like one that has music controls on the lockscreen which I think both may but not sure. Also with Widget Locker, can you place any app on the lockscreen and do you just touch the app to launch it or do you you have to unlock it?

Sep 21, 2010I listen to music on my Droid X a lot but it aggravates me to no end that the screen keeps locking and I have to unlock with my password every time I want to change songs etc.I know I could disable the password each time but that would stink...there has to be a better way.Does anyone know of an app or widget that would always sit on the lock screen so I can access my music player without unlocking the screen?

Nov 13, 2008I am a t-mobil customer and would love to get a G1. The only negative that I can see is that you can not text one handed from the touch screen. I would love to be able to text from the phone dial screen using intutive text. This would make one handed texting possible like on my Krazer. I love this feature. Having to open the keyboard is a complete bummer. Even an onscreen keyboard wouldn't be as good in my opinion for texting.

Sep 18, 2010I'm running froyo (frf91) on a rooted N1 and am looking for an app that restricts who I can text when I'm drunk or drinking. I've done a fruitless search of the Market to no luck. If possible the specifics I'm looking for would be something like this:
Have a set list of people who I can text when the app is active.
Not allow other texts to people not on the list.
And I know this last one is a long shot, but a randomly generated password to take the app off that gets sent to my e-mail at a certain time.
Does anyone know of an app like this or one that sounds familiar?

Just say a phrase like "Text Doug With I am On My Way Home" and Shout will search your contacts for matches, confirm "Sending 'I am on my way home' to 'Doug Hansknecht', correct?". Nov 8, 2010I really like the Screen Suite lockscreen look. However, when I run it with a beautiful widgets clock widget, the clock stays on the same time it was when I locked my phone. I am using LauncherPro. Does anyone know why this happens? I tried using widgetlocker instead of screen suite but I really like screen suite a lot better.

Jul 9, 2010I have a weird one. If I send a text on my Motorola Cliq XT, within my preset Advance Task Killer timeout (3 minutes I believe) the phone disconnects from the network and then the SIM needs to be unlocked.
Is there an App that should be running that I need to Add to the Ignore list? It only happens after texting.
Firmware is Android Version 1.5
