i am developing music player and i want to put some controls when screen is locked. Is there a way to put widget when screen is lock ? The documentation says that "For example, the home screen has one way of viewing widgets, but the lock screen could also contain widgets," but i couldn't find a way to add widget to lockscreen so any ideas ?

I'm trying to listen to podcasts on My HTC desire whilst walking the dog, but because of the darned music player widget being operable through the lockscreen, it keeps pausing or skipping! Can i turn this blasted widget off?The skipping is not down to the Headphones issue on this one, i've solved that.
View 5 Replies View Relatedhey guys i just bought and installed WidgetLocker and must say that it rocks. But there is one thing i can't get to work. I'm trying to display my battery life on the lockscreen but the widget i have (BatteryLife by CurveFish) does not work. It just shows a depleted battery icon and says "loading" while it never does load. It works fine on my regular home screen but I'd like to have one that is compatible with WL too. Also... i have limited space on my current lockscreen, so my ideal battery widget would only take up 1x1 space. Is there such a thing?

View 2 Replies View RelatedRight now I'm using the Pattern Lock for my Note 2. Using Elixer2's single widget set to enable/disable the pattern lockscreen, it seems to randomly work. I've made sure to allow admin rights to Elixer2.
I'd like to be able to lock the screen when at work, and not have it enabled when at home.
The Elixer widget is very random. Sometimes it'll work, sometimes it'll work after a delay, after I try to open some apps, etc.
I have been looking at custom lockscreen and I am trying to decide between Widget Locker and GOTO lockscreen. I was wondering if anyone had any opinions they would like to give me. I would really like one that has music controls on the lockscreen which I think both may but not sure. Also with Widget Locker, can you place any app on the lockscreen and do you just touch the app to launch it or do you you have to unlock it?

However, when I run it with a beautiful widgets clock widget, the clock stays on the same time it was when I locked my phone. I am using LauncherPro. Does anyone know why this happens? I find this annoying, and I still want to use the standard Sense UI. I'd use something like the regular Homescreen, but then I'll make myself use Live Wallpapers. View 5 Replies View RelatedOne of the things I liked about Sense (I'm rooted now and running the Second Wave ROM) was the HTC weather animations when the screen was unlocked. After installing Widget Locker, I noticed an option to turn them on and now I have them back! I also installed the Weather & Toggle Widget and installed the weather skin that looks just like the Sense weather with the flip clock.The annoying part is that when it's sunny, or partly sunny, the "sun animation" from Sense doesn't perfectly align with the Weather & Toggle Widget weather icon. I know, I know, it's a minor problem and goes away when the animation is done, but the lack of symmetry sometimes annoys the hell out of me.
