I've got a droid with three work emails showing on it. They are all set up on the same server and all have the same settings. However, two of the emails can be seen fully and one will not load at all. Cannot see emails in the account or send/receive anything. This is fairly frustrating. I've uninstalled/installed the email account a number of times and done a reset.

Hello! I'm trying to set up my wife's droid 2. She uses outlook at work. I have outlook webmail set up on her phone. She is able to receive work emails but can not reply or send an email on her phone. It always says message not sent. Is there a setting I'm missing?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem geting my POP email to work on my Galaxy S.What i am trying to do is set it up or i can recieve email on my Galaxy S while out, but also be able to retrieve and keep them on my PC.What i have at the moment is that i can receive them on my phone as long as i haven't opened them in Outlook, but if i have received them on my phone first, they don't show up in Outlook. So its one or the other but not both. I have set both the phone and Outlook to leave messages on the server.To further complicate this, once i have read them on the phone, they disappear from the inbox and seem to be lost forever.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI work for comcast and we ose microsoft exchange but i believe we use 2003. thats what it says when i go to my owa website for remote email access. i use the owa for my berry to get the emails pushed and was wondering if android could push it. my remote access website is https://webmail.comcast.com and i don't know if it is possible. i have heard about an app called touchdown but i also don't know if it would work. i am thinking about getting the moment because i am on sprint because it has the faster processor than the hero. i may wait for the supersonic though. if you could please let me know if i can push my email that would be awesome or if it is possible from a different app or way to do it.

My school uses an email system that's based off of Gmail with my address being example@fiu.edu. The calendar is also the same. Here's a link of what the log-in looks like:

Would this work seamlessly with the stock Android Gmail client?
One problem is that when I go into the Email app and try to access my Yahoo.com email, it says that my username and password are not recognized. Never had this problem with v2.1. Does Froyo email require Yahoo Plus or something? Hope not. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to flash something else?

I was at my desk yestarday and emails were coming in to outlook, but I didn't get them on my phone for hours. I had to open the app to get them to come in. Any way to improve this? Can it be "reloaded"?

Downloaded it set up manual it created account but when i went to inbox nothing there ?
It may just be that its virgin media but peeing me off as they the only email i got and cant access them because of there security probs.
I tried searching but couldn't find this...i have my phone set up with my gmail account so i use the gmail app for that and i want to use the mail app for my school email. The email address is acbd@temple.edu, they use gmail but the email address uses @temple.edu...Ive tried both pop and imap both of which i have turned on in my email settings.

My current issue is i am trying to use both gmail and my work email in one button(the email accounts stock app ALMOST does this but it will not allow me to use gmail labels which i must have!). Even if i could live without the labels functionality it seems the gmail app is not only my gmail email but myh contacts/calender sync and perhaps even my app ordering account? Does anyone have any ideas for combining my work email with my gmail app while not losing any gmail functionality as well as garenteeing i dont doubel download/sync with the current gmail stock app?
I also have the GPS issue that most people are haveing... are there really people who do NOT have this issue? or are those without the issue not checking? It would seem that if some people dont have this issue it must be a hardware issue? I am quite concerned with this issue... i ave tried the fixes and some work untill i reboot a couple times then i return to an unsable state(settings have not changed)
I am working for an UN agency and we use Novell Groupwise for work email and their webmail site when we are on the move. I switched to Hero few weeks ago and since then I cannot use the webmail site with none of the browser that android have, I tried opera, dolphin, steel..all of them. no. My gf says its better this way, at least I wont check email on vacations, but Its bothering me.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with receiving emails. I can't get push to work so set it to check every 5 minutes. It worked for a day then stopped. I changed It to 10 minutes and it worked again but not for long. It's a hotmail account and all settings are correct Im sure.

Please verify your username and password."I have tried using the settings that google has on the website and the school doesn't have anything about setting up an email on a phone ( any phone).I tried changing the server to imap.grcc.edu and I had to confirm the certificate but then it gave the error again. I also tried taking the @email.grcc.edu from the username and that didn't work either. I am really frustrated right now. And no, I do not want to forward it to my other email. I like to keep my school and personal emails separate. Sorry if I sound a bit mean but I know that's what some of you will ask me.

We Know our options but were wondering if there was a way for you to get rid of your primary Gmail without having to data factory reset. He wants to not lose all of his Apps and all that. View 3 Replies View RelatedI started using Android 4.1.2 with its E-Mail App 4.1 and Exchange Services 5.0 (hope it is called like this, in German it is "Austauschdienste").
After setting up the connection to the Exchange server (works perfectly), I responded to an Email. Unfortunately, the Email didn't get marked with the tag/arrow answered in Outlook (in the app itself it got marked...). Before I used the app MailDroid. There it worked. Is there any possibility/explanation/wrong configuration, why the answered status is not synced?
I just bought a Telus HTC Hero, which the seller had unlocked. I intend to use this phone with another carrier, Bell. After spending a few hours at Bell customer service, they finally managed to get the 3G data working (for weather, email etc.). However, the browser does not work, neither does the Market.
What seems to be causing the problem is that this phone is MASSIVELY tweaked (appears massive to me probably because I'm not that big on tweaking and don't know about the Android OS in general) by the previous owner who only had it for a few days. The Bell customer service person told me that they switched over a couple of other HTC devices from Telus that were NOT tweaked and the data works perfectly.
All I want is for the phone to be in original factory settings, with original ROMs, firmwares, software, etc. etc. Just looking at the whole bunch of different files that this guy had on the 2GB "gold" memory card made my head spin. He attempted to explain to me with all the "updates" and fancy "roms" and "roots" and crap that I didn't understand nor do I want to spend the time to learn.
I understand that a lot of people buy android phones because they love tweaking but I am not really into all that... I just wanted the phone for the form factor and the functionality and I don't want to worry about optimizing and whatnot. So my question is: is there any way to get the phone back to the most original possible software condition? I just want it "clean." Can I go ahead and wipe everything that is on the 2 GB card? What do I do? I performed a hard reset and it took me to some weird startup screen and I chose the first option which is like reboot now (there were also a bunch of other options including apply update.zip or something)... it still gave me the same MoDaCo build.
I can provide any information but I would really appreciate any help in restoring my seemingly very tweaked phone to original, factory settings, so it could be like any other phone being sold by Telus other than the fact that it is unlocked.
I just set up my main email account, and made sure both the email addy an passowrd were right several times, yet it can't seem to connect.
Is there a better app?

My Gmail account works great, and I have my aol and yahoo acounts set up no problem (well the yahoo was a little problem but got it to work so thats all that matters). I have 2 other email accounts that no matter what I do I can not get them to work. One is my works email which is handled by a company called network solutions. I can get the incoming server setup fine but I can not get the outgoing to work. The other is my school email which is some sort of msn email account variation (username@email.itt-tech.edu which i log into through msn.com). I cant get anything to work for this accuont.

From everything that I am reading I am really glad that I have waited. Anyway, I use AOL and gmail. How is it expected these email accounts will work with the Incredible? Will I get instant notification of a new email, will I have to set it up to check each account for a time frame I specify or will I manually have to open the email and check it? I know that this may be a basic question, however on my Palm I have to manually go into my email and download messages.

I have a large sentence in a textview which has an email id. On clicking on it, it opens my android email app. But The problem is that, I cannot add any subject or message in the mail. Is there any way of doing this using linkify ? Or do I have to use any other way for doing this. I initially used a textview which had just the email id, from which I could add the subject and message, but i will have to keep the email id in a separate line. I want the entire line in the textview where the email id comes in the middle of the sentence.
