I want to develop a web app that uses HTML, CSS and Javascript and want to know if it is possible to disable the green animated border that appears when the user clicks a button, link etc.
Does anyone know what this green click animation is and how to disable etc.

I want to develop a web application using HTML, CSS and Javascript one thing that is really annoying is that any link or button etc when clicked inside the Android browser gets highlighted with a green border.
To demonstrate what I mean I have included a link to a page that contains a basic game written in CSS

Is there any way that you are aware of to disable the click green border?
I recently bought the Droid incredible and I love the phone. It's the perfect phone for me, however I have come to hate the green that is everwhere. It's on almost every spot where u can click or type. Any suggestions on how to change the color.

I have bitmap displayed on the top of the screen when the app is started up. When clicking on the bitmap, the image should move to the bottom of the screen.
I have read the AnimateDrawables from ApiDemos, but the animation is done on a Drawable Object. If it can use on bitmap, it will be great!

However, that lacks the fading animation of the selector transitioning to a long press that is seen when the long click is handled by onCreateContextMenu. I've run into some difficulties with implementing a custom progress dialog. Even though an overlay intercepts touch events the user can still operate the trackball and click elements that are supposed to be disabled.
Is there any way around this?
Long story short, how can I disable the screen transitions between activities? We implemented our own tab handler if you will, and now it is doing a transition between tabs, which looks pretty tacky.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOne of the first things I've noticed about the Samsung (coming from the iphone) is how blue-greenish the background is within the browser.The difference is striking when the iphone is side to side with the Vibrant.It makes the reading mobile pages such as m.cnn.com a whole lot more difficult, relatively speaking.Anyone else notice this? I've also taken notice of this on a friend's Droid, although not as pronounced.Is this common to Android devices? I would think that the Vibrant screen could deliver a bright white with no color imbalances and should surpass the quality on the 3G(S) iphone.

I want to do some browser automation from my android phone. I have tasker, but that only gives me http post and http get operations. I do not think that these functions can do that.
Basicaly, I want to open a browser, go to a website, login. I would also like to automate this from a job scheduler. I can do a schedule with tasker.
However, when I google how to programmatically click buttons and send usernames and passwords, I can't find an application that has that functionality on the android. I may need to code it. When I google 'android automation' etc... I get selenium and other utilities that are run on a pc to test android applications. I do not see anything to manipulate browsers. iMacros is not out yet for android.
I basically just want to connect to a page, pass my username and password and do a perform click.

We encountered a strange problem in Browser. When browsing certain web page with CGI form, browser doesnt respond to trackball click event unless we play around the UI ormove cursor around or switch between application. However, tocuh screen works all the time. I can't give an example of problem making web site yet. Just wodering is it an isolated case to me.

Someone was able to write a program for iphone to do this but they won't for android. They are fanbois so no dice.
