I have been through the JavaMail FAQ and I have looked at a number of examples in the JavaMail download package but have been unable to get this to work. The code below currently causes the following gmail error:

I have also tried imap.gmail.com:143 but get:

Reason I ask is that I never entered area codes for many the contacts on my old phone, which are all on my SIM card, because I could enter my area code into memory.I just got my Aria, and when I get a call from a contact within my area code, their contact name, which is saved on the SIM card, does not come up. Aug 15, 2010So I'm using my Samsung Vibrant and I downloaded Handcent and every time I get an SMS and check it, I noticed that I still have a notification saying i have an unread text, even though i have clearly read the text. Is anyone else getting the same problem as well? I tested it on another Vibrant and same problem.

Nov 17, 2013I am trying to read AndroidManifest file to extract all android permissions in eclipse plugin developnebt but have reached a dead end. It is not able to open file in /Project_root_directory/res/AndroidManifest.xml. I searched and found that it is in encrypted form.
But there should be some way because eclipse shows it in human readable format to the end user. I can't figure how to read it using Java.

Then the only way that it will not show up as a new message on the message icon or be bold in the list, I have to click on it, open the message app, and then back out of it. Not that big of a PITA just kind of annoying when I already know the full message.

Nov 12, 2009I have a few gmail accounts on my Droid and that work fine, but my msn email that I added has a problem. If I get messages and don't open them, then 15 minutes later I get a notification of new mail, but when I check there's nothing new. So then I tried marking messages read to prevent this but some of the messages revert to unread on their own then renotify me as if I have new messages. So I either have to open them or delete them to stop getting false notifications.
Anyone else have this issue, any settings I can change that will fix this? Nobody has access to this email account except me so I know it's not a matter of someone marking unread from the desktop.

Dec 23, 2013I am receiving many emails from different accounts (approx 6 different accounts) and I would like to have a way to read the emails from the notification panel and mark them as "read" or "delete".
And, in the mail app, the best will be with a consolidated view for unread messages.
I don't want an application that "proxifies" our data (man in the middle; and they have the password of our mailbox).
