New Swype wont let you turn off vibrate on keypress? Just downloaded the newest version, (1.56.30.7625.t100) and the setting is listed, but you cannot press it, it is "Dimmed". I am an official Beta tester, and got my version from them, through E-mail. I didn't steal the .apk

So my deal is, I want to be able to have my phone do everything and vibrate when it's in "vibrate mode" but when I have it set to ringer of any sort, I don't want it to vibrate at all, even during my texts. What can I change to let this work? Right now, I have selected "vibrate also for notifications of SMS." where it'll ring and vibrate. I just want it to ring during "ring mode" and vibrate only during "vibrate mode"
View 10 Replies View RelatedI downloaded and installed Swype. I went to settings>language & keyboard and checked the Swype box. Under touch input>keyboard types, I only have 3 options Qwerty, Phone Keypad and Compact Qwerty. One of them has to be selected. Anyway, even with the Swype box selected, the qwerty keyboard still shows up on any screen where I enter text. I went through the Swype tutorial and know that its installed, I just can't seem to activate it.

I liked it at first, but turning it off really speeds up the response time. For some reason it is still vibrating when I go to phone and start typing a number.
