Nov 29, 2009Is there anyway to disable the initial swipe lock screen and replace with the pattern lock? Seems silly to have a double lock.....the pattern seems much better to me.

Feb 24, 2010I absolutely hate the sense lock screen. The downward swipe unlocks way to easily. If I don't have a pattern lock enabled my pocket sends all kind of crazy messages and phone calls. I dislike the pattern lock because I basically have to unlock my phone twice every time I want to use it. Is there a way to load the default android lock screen as it appears on the Driod or Nexus 1? The sideways swipe seems much more secure to me. I have tried other apps like lock 2.0 but then you lose the slide to answer and my pocket answers for me before I know I have a call.

If I manually run Lock 2.0 first, then it will use that until I next reboot. Also, is there a way to modify the information that appears on the lock screen? I'd love to be able to see missed calls / reminders there.

One of the features that I really miss is the notifications on the lockscreen. I have a company phone - and the security settings forces a PIN or Password lockscreen. I have tried installing a 3rd Party lockscreen that supports notifications (Such as LockerPro), but all it does is provide the new lockscreen in addition to the default one (i.e. I have to unlock "twice"). I would like the default lockscreen to be replaced by the 3rd party one.

Oct 28, 2012I am plan B and AVG security installed, both don't always work, I have pattern lock on the phone but even in pattern lock mode when i press and hold power button the phone gives me option to shutdown.
If someone steals my phone they will be able to shut it off without unlocking it since holding down power button still works. So is there a way to lock the power button from shutting off phone when the phone is in pattern unlock mode?
