Does anyone know how to set the Lock 2.0 as the default screen locker? If I reboot my CDMA Hero, then the standard Lock screen will appear. If I manually run Lock 2.0 first, then it will use that until I next reboot. Also, is there a way to modify the information that appears on the lock screen? I'd love to be able to see missed calls / reminders there.

when i press the home key/close an app the password lock screen appears and it's annoying. Also the volume level doesn't affect my text message notification. long story:A week ago sprint told me to factory reset my phone to get rid of the error 67 problem, ever since then i've had this problem. So they told me to factory reset it again and the problem continued. then they sent a replacement and now i'm still getting the problem before i installed any apps. the SD card is the same though. So i'm confused and don't want to delete everything from the sd card.

If I don't have a pattern lock enabled my pocket sends all kind of crazy messages and phone calls. I dislike the pattern lock because I basically have to unlock my phone twice every time I want to use it. Is there a way to load the default android lock screen as it appears on the Driod or Nexus 1? The sideways swipe seems much more secure to me. I have tried other apps like lock 2.0 but then you lose the slide to answer and my pocket answers for me before I know I have a call.

I carry my phone in pocket when at work (especially from meeting to meeting) and the volume rocker or camera button sometimes wake the phone up and open up apps. Simply Lockscreen - Android app on AppBrain.I really like this new FREE screen locker replacement. There is no lag when unlocking anymore! You can also set your phone to vibrate directly from the lock screen now. Still could use some polish (larger clock?) but it hasn't been out that long. Hope the developer keeps working on it. Remember to disable the default screen locker or you'll have to unlock 2 every time. What do you guys think?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am trying to remove an ImageButton's background in only the default state. I'd like the pressed and selected states to behave as usual so that they look correct on different devices, which use different colors for the pressed and selected states.
Is there any way to set an ImageButton's background default state's drawable without affecting the pressed and selected states?
I've tried to do this with a selector, but it does not appear to allow you to use the default drawables for some states - you have to set all the states yourself. Since there's no API to retrieve the device's default pressed/selected drawables, I don't know what to set the pressed/selected states to.
I also tried getting the StateListDrawable object for the button that the system creates when you are not using a selector and then modify it change the default state. That didn't work either.
I seems that on Android, if you want to change the drawable for one state of a button, then you must set all the states, and thus cannot preserve the default drawables for the other states. Is this correct?

So i need to unlock the phone and then reply, if needed.Also previously when listening to audio, when I pushed the Volume up or down button, the screen remained off, but with these apps now the screen lights up when using the Volume buttons.

This is my new Activity for a WebView. When the user clicks back, I simply want to close this Activity and return to my previous one. Notice, I put "onKeyDown" -> Finish. However, it's not working. Instead, I click "back", a blank white screen comes up.. (it doesn't even hit that onKeyDown Statement when I try to debug it)! When I hit "back" the second time, then it will go back to my previous Activity.

When I click on the EditText "@+id/updateStatus" of the ScrollView, the keyboard appears on the screen of the device and the ScrollView is hidden. I'd prefer to hide the ListView "@+id/myListView" at the end. Is it possible? Why that view is hidden?
