View 17 RepliesI downloaded Documents to go this week from the market, it supports Excel and word files. With it I can download open and edit files then email them.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI cant seem to figure out the following:
1. How do i add word/excel (or open office)
2. When i added my games. it all added in the gray page (where all my applications are) at the same time I added it on the fast access screen. Is there a way that i can delete them in my gray page? The gray page I am talking about is the page that pops up when you click the arrow shown at the bottom page of the screen.
3. How can i add 'notes' application?
4. is there really a maximum of 3 pages? to add applications to the wall?
Just installed the 2.1 update on my htc hero and have found that the quick office app doesn't seem to open ms word documents properly, anybody else notice this. Also what Is the best office application out there for android.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHave noticed both these apps are down to around 9 now in the Market.Thinking of getting one of them at this bargain price but which one?
View 10 Replies View RelatedToday you can get "Documents to go" for $5.55 (Normally $29.95) but I am not really sure what I would gain over the included Quickoffice ap. I could be wrong but I believe quick office is read only while documents to go allows editing.Anyone else know the difference?
Ignoring price, what one is better functionality wise? Quickoffice came preinstalled on my Dinc, don't know if thats a gimped version or not.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was going to hold out for DTG 3.0 but think that I really need this program. Also, I just read on DTG's site that the upgrade to 3.0 will be free. The unknown is when and if 3.0 will ever come out. Anyways, being not too familiar with DTG I have a few questions:
1.How do I get documents to and from my PC? Do I have to email back and forth? If I create a document on my PC and want to take it on the road to edit it how do I get it to my Droid Incredible for editing and then back to my desktop for printing, ect?
2.I use MS Office 2007 on my PC will this work with DTG?
3.What are some overall impressions of how this app actually works?
On my droid x quik office works great to automatically open word and pdf docs. The issue I am having is that once I have downloaded a document I have no way to save it and i can't find it later. I can't find the saved documents or the quick office application anywhere on my phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm considering switching to an Android device after using Windows Mobile for years and years... the new Droid from Verizon really looks impressive and I'm not real high on some of the new Windows Mobile devices coming out.One of my needs though will be to read, edit, and save 2007 Office documents. However, I'd also like to have my documents auotsync'd with Google Docs. Is something like this possible?
View 2 Replies View Relatedis there a good app for this? preferably a free one. onboard 'quick office' only allows you to view.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIf so, what can you edit? If you don't know what I'm talking about, then the reviews were wrong about having thinkfree office.
View 4 Replies View Relatedreliable way of accessing AND editing office documents remotely on the razr, or any android device?
There are a lot of apps, like motocast, which enable me to access all my files on my Mac remotely via my Razr. But I don't know of a way of editing this document and then saving it back to the mac.
I am looking for a way to print Office Documents from my phone. I have a WiFi printer. Currently using OfficeSuite Pro. But it has no printing provision that I can discover. So far my workarounds are.
1. Transferring the file from SD card to PC. Opening the file and printing from there.
2. Attach the file and email to myself. Open the attachment and print from there.
I would like to be able to send the file directly from the phone to the WiFi printer. I saw some print apps in the market, but none seemed to do Office Documents.
I am looking for an office suite app for android tablet that lets you open multiple documents at once, with tabs, so that I can switch between them.
I thought Kingsoft Office is supposed to do that because I read a review from PCWorld, and it said just like desktop version, it can switch between open documents with tabs. I think the review is false. I have been trying to figure out how to open multiple documents with Kingsoft for HOURS, and can't figure out. I have a Galaxy tab 10.1 original with ICS.
So if I'm correct and Kingsoft does not have this feature, any office suite app that lets you open multiple docs at once? Doesn't have to be free. I just need a decent one that have this feature. I only need it for viewing docs anyway.
My current app I'm developing needs to create word documents (.doc) to display full on reports for my users.
The idea is after the user fills in a few text views, the app gathers that data and inputs it in a new word doc, kind of like a generator to generate essays/legal documents.
I downloaded the free version of "Documents to go". It allows viewing of Word & Excel documents. Editing is not allowed for the free version. $24 gets the complete pkg.
I have 2 concerns - One, not sure if I'll keep this phone and not exchange it. I've already exchanged 2 times for defects. Hope this one's a keeper, but I'm scared due to 2 exchanges. 2nd concern is I'd like the most cost affective software.
Having a few software issues with my new SGS.
I would like to transfer some MS Office 2007 files on to the phone. I appreciate that ThinkFree Office should be able to allow access and edit the documents. As you will see in another thread I am having difficulties with Kies so thought the simpilest way would simply to email myself the .xls document for ThinkFree Office.
However, attachments simply open in code form, there is no option to download them in .xls format to the phone, so that ThinkFree can then open them and decode it.
How can I save an excel or word doc that has been emailed to me?
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow do I view Microsoft word docs off my pc on my desire, I've got the quickoffice on my phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhat am I not seeing? Where is it that I can delete a word document that I created in Documents To Go?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen sending e-mails, clicking attach only shows predetermined type of files, likes pictures, contact, video, etc.. but there is no option to attach "file" for example something that may be stored in sd card, like an excel sheet or word document or pdf.
Am I missing something or is this not a feature in Android?
Also, Can we also view these three file types when received, save the file, then forward it via different e-mail?
In my project, I would like to create a database with single table. I would also like to insert data on this table from word or excel document. is it possible? if so please how can I do it? some code snippets would be of great help. I have four different activities which I would like them to interact with this single table. the first is the main activity and its purpose is just to launch the other three activities according to user choice. so it has no interaction with the DB. but the other three activities will read from the table whenever called. Can you please tell me how to call the dbhelper on these activities? I am unable to do this and I am currently creating one db per each activity which is not the optimal way.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs this worth it? I am on the go so much I need to be able to edit word and excel docs. One more question, is it compatible with Office 2007 docs?
