Samsung Fascinate :: Printing Office Documents To Network Printer?

Oct 18, 2010

I am looking for a way to print Office Documents from my phone. I have a WiFi printer. Currently using OfficeSuite Pro. But it has no printing provision that I can discover. So far my workarounds are.

1. Transferring the file from SD card to PC. Opening the file and printing from there.
2. Attach the file and email to myself. Open the attachment and print from there.

I would like to be able to send the file directly from the phone to the WiFi printer. I saw some print apps in the market, but none seemed to do Office Documents.

Android :: Printing From Android - The Brother MW-120 Mobile Printer

Sep 10, 2009

Another Android question. I did some searching and couldn't find any answers on this.

We are using Android as an embedded type of system and want to get it to work with the Brother mPrint MW-120 printer. This is a compact, battery-powered thermal printer. It connects over USB. It seems like a great fit for an Android device, so we can print receipts, barcodes, labels, etc.

However, I can't find any information on doing that, and I couldn't find any Linux drivers for this printer.

Android :: How Get Documents To PC / MS Office 2007 Work With DTG?

Aug 14, 2010

I was going to hold out for DTG 3.0 but think that I really need this program. Also, I just read on DTG's site that the upgrade to 3.0 will be free. The unknown is when and if 3.0 will ever come out. Anyways, being not too familiar with DTG I have a few questions:
1.How do I get documents to and from my PC? Do I have to email back and forth? If I create a document on my PC and want to take it on the road to edit it how do I get it to my Droid Incredible for editing and then back to my desktop for printing, ect?
2.I use MS Office 2007 on my PC will this work with DTG?
3.What are some overall impressions of how this app actually works?

General :: Office Suite For Tablet That Allow To Open Multiple Documents At Once?

Jan 20, 2013

I am looking for an office suite app for android tablet that lets you open multiple documents at once, with tabs, so that I can switch between them.

I thought Kingsoft Office is supposed to do that because I read a review from PCWorld, and it said just like desktop version, it can switch between open documents with tabs. I think the review is false. I have been trying to figure out how to open multiple documents with Kingsoft for HOURS, and can't figure out. I have a Galaxy tab 10.1 original with ICS.

So if I'm correct and Kingsoft does not have this feature, any office suite app that lets you open multiple docs at once? Doesn't have to be free. I just need a decent one that have this feature. I only need it for viewing docs anyway.

Anyone know how I can disable the sound/alert made when the Samsung Fascinate loses its phone network connection? I get little to no reception at my house and thus the phone is always beeping that it has lost reception, then gained it then lost it again - it drives me crazy. Usually I have to resort to muting the phone altogether but then I forget to unmute in the morning when I leave the house. I called Samsung and they said to try to turn off the emergency call option saying it was some workaround. It was already off on my phone and didn't help. I've looked all over the sounds etc. settings to no avail?

Motorola Milestone :: No WiFi Scan For Office Wireless Network

Sep 29, 2010

I got myself a Samsung Galaxy S. And decided to sell my Milestone to a guy. So when he is testing out the phone the WiFi doesn't scan his office WiFi. It scan every WiFi around us except the office WiFi. I use my Milestone's WiFi all the time. And all the time it scan and detect all the WiFi. Infact 30 mins before the sale I was using the Milestone's WiFi at school to find a map to his place.

Weird thing is when I use my Galaxy S to scan WiFi, it scanned all the WiFi and his office's WiFi too. So does anyone know why my Milestone is able to scan everyone else WiFi except his office's WiFi? It couldn't be hidden because my Galaxy S was about to scan his WiFi. This is extremely bad luck, because I know my Milestone is in perfect working condition and now he would think I'm scamming him.
