General :: Remote Editing Of Office Documents Using Droid?

Mar 16, 2012

reliable way of accessing AND editing office documents remotely on the razr, or any android device?

There are a lot of apps, like motocast, which enable me to access all my files on my Mac remotely via my Razr. But I don't know of a way of editing this document and then saving it back to the mac.

General :: Office Suite For Tablet That Allow To Open Multiple Documents At Once?

Jan 20, 2013

I am looking for an office suite app for android tablet that lets you open multiple documents at once, with tabs, so that I can switch between them.

I thought Kingsoft Office is supposed to do that because I read a review from PCWorld, and it said just like desktop version, it can switch between open documents with tabs. I think the review is false. I have been trying to figure out how to open multiple documents with Kingsoft for HOURS, and can't figure out. I have a Galaxy tab 10.1 original with ICS.

So if I'm correct and Kingsoft does not have this feature, any office suite app that lets you open multiple docs at once? Doesn't have to be free. I just need a decent one that have this feature. I only need it for viewing docs anyway.

Android :: How Get Documents To PC / MS Office 2007 Work With DTG?

Aug 14, 2010

I was going to hold out for DTG 3.0 but think that I really need this program. Also, I just read on DTG's site that the upgrade to 3.0 will be free. The unknown is when and if 3.0 will ever come out. Anyways, being not too familiar with DTG I have a few questions:
1.How do I get documents to and from my PC? Do I have to email back and forth? If I create a document on my PC and want to take it on the road to edit it how do I get it to my Droid Incredible for editing and then back to my desktop for printing, ect?
2.I use MS Office 2007 on my PC will this work with DTG?
3.What are some overall impressions of how this app actually works?

Samsung Fascinate :: Printing Office Documents To Network Printer?

Oct 18, 2010

I am looking for a way to print Office Documents from my phone. I have a WiFi printer. Currently using OfficeSuite Pro. But it has no printing provision that I can discover. So far my workarounds are.

1. Transferring the file from SD card to PC. Opening the file and printing from there.
2. Attach the file and email to myself. Open the attachment and print from there.

I would like to be able to send the file directly from the phone to the WiFi printer. I saw some print apps in the market, but none seemed to do Office Documents.

Also, Can we also view these three file types when received, save the file, then forward it via different e-mail?

General :: Office Suite Pro On Nexus 7?

Dec 12, 2012

I have been given a Nexus7 and I'm not sure what it can actaully do so I am trying out a few simple things - currently OfficeSuitePro - and I don't really know what the Nexus7 is capable of so not sure how to do some things.

My current question is - can I save spreadsheets which I create on the tablet using Office Suite Pro, and if so, how?

The Support says i can save to Local Storage, but I don;t seem to have this. What is it and how do I get it? I have a My Documents Folder and an Internal Storage folder. When I go to Save in either of these folders it displays the message "There are no supported files in this folder" and the Save icon is greyed out.

I should be saving to an SD card, but my device doesn't have one, nor does it have a slot for one.

Motorola Droid :: Way To Store Private Documents On Phone SD?

Feb 2, 2010

Anyone know of a good way to store private documents on the phone SD? I'm considering moving some of my documents to my phone SD....this is stuff that could potentially lead to ID theft if I ever lose my phone So I was wondering if there's any way to password protect / encrypt folders on the SD card. If I lost my phone.....I don't want a thief accessing documents in that folder. So it would have to work against him reading files off a card reader on a regular computer as well While we're at it.....between Mobile defense, Lookout and Wave secure, can any of them wipe the SD card remotely?
