I have installed appbrain along with fast web installer I cant see no install button when i click on an app description, this is whilst browsing on my phone (HTC WILDFIRE).

I am a newbie and just started coding in android. I have got a task on which I want a little help from you all. This is the problem :"Track web browsing and browsing related activities including user's total time spent online, complete URI's and timestamps, downloads initiated from the browser. Differentiate between main , embedded and redirected URI." I dont know where to search and how to go about it. Any kind of help would be really helpful. Please post your expert comments and help as early as possible.
View 2 Replies View Relatedhow come it loads slow accessing my phone/memory card items when connected to any PC, even using usb 3.0 cable or 2.0 cable, my SD card is a sandisk class 10 from my gopro so its not the sd card. and the way you view pictures is also different, example, in windows you can click on a picture in the folder and use the arrow keys on your keyboard to scroll through the pictures using left and right, but when trying to do that with the pictures connected through the phone i can't, and i cant edit pictures on the phone with right click like in windows as well.
my old g2x wasn't like this, access was just like viewing any other item on windows fast speed and able to edit picture files still on the phone,this is on a Galaxy Note 3 btw.
I was reading the Apps and Games section searching how to retrieve one of my games' save data, and I found it's probably on
/data/data/com.square_enix.android_googleplay.FFIII_GP
However I cannot access it normally, it's phone's internal memory. After few more searches, I came to a little idea: maybe using adb.
Then the question is, can I use adb to browse my device's internal and external storages, just like I browse through my PC using command line? (In my case I use Linux, so my terminal is Bash).
Can I copy from internal storage and write on it without root using adb? I don't want to root my device for a series of reasons...

Couple of days ago, I wanted to change to a new Android version so I deleted the whole OS on my Android to install a new one.I got stuck on the Magdlr option because I couldn't go select any option. I realized then, that my call button is broken! how it is possible to install Android, because WinMo sucks!!

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo the other day I went to download an app out of the market. The download finished, but it seems my phone decided to auto-reboot itself in the midst of the installation. After the reboot completes, I go back to the market, reselect the app, and it's hung at "Installing..." (And when I say "hung," the market is still fully functional except that one app). I'm given no option to cancel the installation. Killing the market app then trying to go back in has no effect - same deal. Hung on install. Another reboot didn't help.
Is there any way to delete the install package and make the market forget I even tried in the first place?
It's Angry Birds (wanted to see what all the fuss was about), but the install seems to have failed in a way that any app install could have failed.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a rooted mytouch 3G and I've been using the barnacle tether app for the last few months for internet on my laptop. Just recently I've been playing online poker on my laptop. It worked fine for about a day or so, then things started to get extremely slow, barely being able to load google (taking about a few minutes to load a basic html page). I don't know if it has something to do with using my phone for a connection with the poker clients or if it's just coincidence with the timing of it, I called T-Mobile and they said there are no problems at all with the coverage in my area and to do a Power cycle which didn't seem to help. Does anyone have ANY idea what could be wrong?

1.- the zoom sucks you can zoom with gestures and all but the way it does it sucks. if you pinch slightly it should zoom by a small amount. in other world i can not zoom in to cover what i want to, it zoom either way pass were i want or completely zooms out. of course this i think is just a programming issue of not taking into consideration of how big is the pinch. This is frustrating me so much.
2.- when you zoom the browser relays out the entire page. which is completely wrong it should not happen. when say zooming in on a column of text that you think can be better read by zooming in the browser does a re-layout and now my text is all over the place. the expectation is the you are zooming into a small portion of the webpage not that you are changing the dimensions of the page or object you are zooming in (<DIV>,<p>,<SPAN> or which ever). they should stay still and let me get a bigger view of the window that i'm trying to view. the fix here would be to zoom in without the weird re-layout. it has sucked so much that what I'm doing is caring my iPhone just to browser the web and my droid for all the rest.
I know that there are browsers like dolphin or xscope that allow multitouch zoom, but I was wondering about something else. I actually happen to like the default browser better than those two, I really just want multitouch. I'm no developer, but I was wondering how possible it would be to take the default browser, and add nothing to it but the multitouch zoom.

But I've yet to found out what's the folder path to those images file. do you know what's the path to that image folder? What would be the path patterns (if any) in other Android phones? I don't need to set any additional permission to access those files, do I? Do you know how I can build a "file browsing" widget in my activity? I've searched and seems like there is no such widget and I've to install app that does file browsing. In any case, how to incorporate that as a file-browsing view in my current activity?

I had checked the signing using jarsigner -verify.

The model I'm interested in is the Lenovo LePhone which runs Android 1.6. The model I saw in the shop had a very branded version of Android and it was all in Chinese (but I can change the language to English). I saw there's even a small intro of the phone here. The fancy keyboard does not come with the phone and has to be bought separately and it's not available at the moment. I was told that it runs on Android 1.6, not 2.1. My question is, can I install any app for Android 1.6 on that device or will there be restrictions because it's a Chinese version?
