I haven't really looked at that many Android apps but I can't find a decent office type program similar to Microsoft Office or Open office to use excel, or similar office documents whilst I'm away from my laptop? Also are there any Krazy kiwis living out there using the great Android networks living in the UK, or even better in Bristol? I would love to hear from you soon

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I DL a pdf file as an attachment to an email, Quickoffice opens it and lets me read it. When I use the OIFileManager I can see the pdf file in the downloads folder on my SD card and it is displayed with a Quickoffice icon. Clicking on the file launches the Quickoffice pdf viewer. When I look on the home menu I cannot find a Quickoffice icon. Where is quickoffice- is it integrated into android OS? I need to search text and/or pdf files for specific text- example: ADA procedure codes for dentistry. I have a list in both pdf and text format but can't find a way to search it for "crown".Is there an app (maybe a part of Quickoffice?) that will search for and highlight text in a text or pdf file?
View 3 Replies View RelatedHave noticed both these apps are down to around 9 now in the Market.Thinking of getting one of them at this bargain price but which one?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Documents to go this week from the market, it supports Excel and word files. With it I can download open and edit files then email them.
View 4 Replies View RelatedToday you can get "Documents to go" for $5.55 (Normally $29.95) but I am not really sure what I would gain over the included Quickoffice ap. I could be wrong but I believe quick office is read only while documents to go allows editing.Anyone else know the difference?
Ignoring price, what one is better functionality wise? Quickoffice came preinstalled on my Dinc, don't know if thats a gimped version or not.

View 17 Replies View RelatedI was going to hold out for DTG 3.0 but think that I really need this program. Also, I just read on DTG's site that the upgrade to 3.0 will be free. The unknown is when and if 3.0 will ever come out. Anyways, being not too familiar with DTG I have a few questions:
1.How do I get documents to and from my PC? Do I have to email back and forth? If I create a document on my PC and want to take it on the road to edit it how do I get it to my Droid Incredible for editing and then back to my desktop for printing, ect?
2.I use MS Office 2007 on my PC will this work with DTG?
3.What are some overall impressions of how this app actually works?
On my droid x quik office works great to automatically open word and pdf docs. The issue I am having is that once I have downloaded a document I have no way to save it and i can't find it later. I can't find the saved documents or the quick office application anywhere on my phone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedApparently Quickoffice only allows me to view. Is there any decent app out there that allows me to edit?
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust wondered if anybody here has fully committed their business (or works for a company that has) to the Premium Edition of Google Apps. If so can you give me any feedback on any real world issues that it has. Specifically I'm wondering how well it integrates with MS Office products. For example I receive a lot of Excel documents with embedded photos and .pdf files and will need to access and amend them. Similarly most of my customers use Excel and will need to be able to open a spreadsheet created by me in the Google system? Also can I migrate existing documents into Apps? I know these are fairly basic requirements and I would be surprised if Google haven't covered them, but are there any other issues that I need to consider before committing to the Gcloud?
View 25 Replies View RelatedFrom an attachment in an email I tried to view a 2007 MS Word Doc. Quickoffice started to download the document but stopped and said that it could not download it. Does Quickoffice work with Word 07 (I am using the HTC INcredible)? Also, how can I now delete this file that could not be opened?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm considering switching to an Android device after using Windows Mobile for years and years... the new Droid from Verizon really looks impressive and I'm not real high on some of the new Windows Mobile devices coming out.One of my needs though will be to read, edit, and save 2007 Office documents. However, I'd also like to have my documents auotsync'd with Google Docs. Is something like this possible?
