In this case, I have to make a small PowerPoint navigation client on the Android, and also I have create a PC server to access Microsoft Office PowerPoint and manipulate its slideshow. I know it is possible for a java application to gain access to Microsoft Office PowerPoint's slideshow. Some applications for Android are already made (Gmote 2.0 and such) and they can be used to navigate PowerPoint slideshows.Is there any extension or any library that can be used to gain access to Microsoft Office PowerPoint?

So far I have an application that authenticates with the services and displays a list of user documents. When the user selects a document another query is made for the documents itself. A request for txt, html, rtf and doc files works well, however when I request a spreadsheet in either .csv or .xsl format the result is unexpected.

Something I used a lot on my old phone ... even my old dinosaur smart phone could do spreadsheets. Is there any apps out there. I've tried Gdocs doesn't do spreadsheets. Going to spreadsheets on the web from Google also is not what I need . Quickoffice doesn't do bunk. I'm searching the market and the web. But I have found nothing that will let me edit formulas. Oct 5, 2011I'm debugging my first Android app and when running in the emulator it seems fine. The main view appears and no edit fields have focus. I see the full screen including the introduction text at the top.
When I start this on my Vodafone 858 Smart phone, the view scrolls down to the first edit field (which is a phone number field) and also pops up the number pad. I have removed the 'focus' tags from my mains.xml, so I do not see why it's scrolling to the first edit field.

It starts something like: public class Amount Field extends Edit Text and has over riden the constructor to implement the Edit Text widget style However when I implement this on my XML I get an editable Text View instead of the Edit Text (there is only text but not the surrounding white box) and also when I click on it nothing happens, only text color changes. Are there any ideas on why this happens? I've done list components the same way and style is not altered.

May 2, 2010When I DL a pdf file as an attachment to an email, Quickoffice opens it and lets me read it. When I use the OIFileManager I can see the pdf file in the downloads folder on my SD card and it is displayed with a Quickoffice icon. Clicking on the file launches the Quickoffice pdf viewer. When I look on the home menu I cannot find a Quickoffice icon. Where is quickoffice- is it integrated into android OS? I need to search text and/or pdf files for specific text- example: ADA procedure codes for dentistry. I have a list in both pdf and text format but can't find a way to search it for "crown".Is there an app (maybe a part of Quickoffice?) that will search for and highlight text in a text or pdf file?
