I dont know if its just me or if anyone else is having the problem. Apps such as weatherbug, barcode scanner, pkt auctions, and amazon just to name a few.I have even went back to the oringinal sprint ruu with not luck and then no luck with the OTA update. Can anyone try these apps and see if you have any luck.

Several apps (such as Rings Extended and Ringdroid) are missing from the market on my wife's T-Mobile Pulse Mini, though I can get them fine on my HTC Desire. Any idea why, and what I could do to fix it?

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy wife has just got rid of her faulty X10 and moved to the X10 mini pro.
She's very frustrated as apps are just not showing up in the market. She used Bloo all the time along with AG Newspapers UK and Flood-it (game), these were 3 of the most used apps she had but when she searches the market for them it says they are not there! I have managed to get hold of the latest Bloo beta apk and installed that and it works fine.
Any ideas why these apps do not show up? the mini pro is 320x240 so it's not a resolution problem (same res as my old G1), the apps show up on my Desire (same phone network etc) the phone was unbranded/unlocked from Expansys
Previously had these apps on my hero, reset my phone (to fix the market 'starting download' problem) and now i cant replace a few apps from the market.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOne side effect I've noticed from the recent update: it seems like some apps are just gone from the Android Market. The one I know for sure is the MLB.com At Bat 2010 app. AppBrain still lists it (in fact, it shows that it got a price drop about 10 hours ago), but scanning the QR code, searching for it in the Android Market, even trying to install it from AppBrain all lead to the same thing: The item could not be found. I don't know if this is happening with other apps or not. I do know for sure that the MLB.com At Bat 2010 app was there before the update as I was trying to decide whether I was justified in spending the money to listen to the playoff games at work. But now it's just gone without a trace.Anyone else notice this or other apps missing?

Now that app won't show up in the market for me.I know I read something about apps not showing up if the ROM is not "signed" by Google, or something. But the zip from Fresh 2.1.2 ends with "_signed_release". So what do you do to get missing apps to show up?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have seen a lot of posts saying that people once they rooted they lost access to some of the apps they had with android 1.5.This is an HTC hero rom that was ported over to the eris that I am running right now. With this rom which is running 2.1 you will get access to the protected apps on the market (the apps that come up missing). Read the known bugs section though. Included is an app that circumvents the power down hang and I actully like using it more then shutting down the phone the convential way hope this helps. People running eris with 2.1 don't have access because it has not been officially released yet. View 7 Replies View RelatedI just noticed while upgrading from the "pulled" 2.2 to the "official" 2.2 some of my purchased apps are no longer available from the market. Cannot be found at all. Someone said that Google has to approve every new ROM to get complete access to the market. I was just wondering if it is I who have the glitch or if anyone else has the same problems. I have heard from two other sources (in Sweden) who have the same issues.

Only "top free" and "Just in" are options on the top. No paid apps, but some show in the "Just in". I thought there we supposed to be no market problems with these roms?
They appeared now. Took about seven hours, but they appeared.
I'm new to this, but when I look in Market I sometimes can't find certain apps. Was just looking for Where (where.com) a good travel app and it's not in there. Also when I install Yelp, it installs but immediately closes when I try to launch.
Is this a canada thing or what? Is the firmware so old that these phones are useless?
Today i have been having some fun today downloading and yes buying (!) apps from the mkt. well, i started getting a little instability - i couldn't get an IP from my wireless router --- i had d/l "wifi keep alive" and "wifi reconnect" and "wifi reassociation". so i went to the mkt intending to uninstall one by one until i restored my ability to DHCP to the router. selecting the "downloads" section of the mkt revealed only about two pages worth of apps. believe me - i have a LOT more apps than that! mostly all the apps that appear are purchased apps (one exception - gmail is there too) - but even then, not "all" of my purchased apps are there! in doing my due dilligence checking to see if anyone else had this problem and solved it, i found this thread and this thread - neither of which have anything to say to help me. ANY idea how to get my apps to show up in the mkt? the apps themselves ARE STILL ON MY hero, they just don't appear in the mkt)

Unfortunately I made the grave mistake of leaving my Helix 2 app as my main launcher, so I was stuck in an endless loop of force closing. After restoring my phone to factory defaults I was able to set up my gmail account as I did when I first set up the phone.now that I'm going into the market, I'm noticing a LOT of apps that I had before (most of them paid) are not even listed in the app store. I'm also noticing that the Helix apps are not listed either. It would appear that non 2.2 compatible apps are not being listed? I have no idea, but whatever it is, I hope I get my touchdown full version app back soon, otherwise I'll be in a rough spot with work. (not a huge fan of the regular mail).Example, I did a search for the developer "Camel Games" I recently purchased one of these games, however, when I do a search now, I ONLY see all the free version, and no paid versions. If anyone has any insight on this it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone is not seeing the same thing as me, that would be helpful too. If I need to reset my phone again or something, let me know! I miss my apps
View 4 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the missing sync from the market on Friday morning. I had to reset my handset because of the default settings of facebook doubled my contacts. Since setting the option of not to sync them doesn't take them away, I had to do a hard reset to get them out. I've downloaded most of my apps again, except Missing Sync. I can find it via the computer, but when I try to find it and download via either appbrain or directly from the market either I can't find it or it will not allow me to install the app with the following error - There are no matches in Android Market for the search:

i have received complaints from a number of customers that one of my paid apps is missing from the market and they can't download it after updating their phones to 2.2. I have no idea what the cause is and unfortunately i also don't have access to a device with 2.2. Maybe someone here can tell me what i'm doing wrong?...................

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure who I should complain to about this, HTC or Google, but after I did the most recent Hero (sprint) firmware update I am unable to see applications that I developed nor several applications that I paid for (and free ones) on the Market. This makes updating them unavailable. Also, if I do a factory reset on my phone, then I will not be able to download these paid for applications again. What's the deal here? A friend of mine who also did the firmware update is in the same boat. Since I do have applications out there that people are buying, I am now unable to view comments for those since I cannot see them on the Market. What's the solution to this? Should I contact HTC as well?

I downloaded both of them last week when I got my EVO, but I had to factory reset for root, and now I can't find them. Could someone test it out?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI rooted my HTC Incredible last week and installed the Virtuous ROM with froyo 2.2. I recently realized that after doing this there are a ton of apps missing from the android market. Even ones that I already have installed on my phone like Evernote and Google Sky Map. If I go to the downloads section of the market which should show the apps I have installed it shows none.
The verizon section of the market displays only three applications when I know there should be a whole lot more. What is going on? I cannot find any apps. When I search for something there is usually one or two apps that show up and are not even what I was looking for. Is this a widespread problem with the market or a side effect of rooting and upgrading to the virtuous ROM?
Quick App Clean Cache. Any one else notice this is now missing from the Market? I'm assuming its due to the fact its copy protected but now its unpurchasable. Any one know another location it can be found? I wanted to buy this but should have done it before updating to 2.1 v3.
