Can anyone verify this? Myself and several other EVO owners have reported that they aren't showing up on both rooted and non-rooted phones. I downloaded both of them last week when I got my EVO, but I had to factory reset for root, and now I can't find them. Could someone test it out?

Quick App Clean Cache. Any one else notice this is now missing from the Market? I'm assuming its due to the fact its copy protected but now its unpurchasable. Any one know another location it can be found? I wanted to buy this but should have done it before updating to 2.1 v3.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhilst browsing in here and on the web for ways to save battery life, I came across an app for turning on and off WiFi, backlight, bluetooth etc. It had a totally different layout to Quick Settings. The screen appeared to have about 12 square buttons, for quick on/off functionality of the usual stuff. WiFi, bluetooth etc. One of the buttons near the bottom right corner was 2G/3G. Does anyone know which app this may be, from my super description? I like the simple one screen does all layout, which was easy to understand. Can't remember if it was from a link in here, or from another site.

I installed Handcent today but there was no widget option, just the app option. Any idea why? SMS Unread Count didn't seem to have an option to start Handcent (that and the default icon is too cutesy).
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been using handcent for almost a year now. 2 weeks ago, right at it, one of my most frequently used contacts for texting disappeared from handcent. The text comes through on board messenger but wont cross over to handcent. Out of 90 or so contacts this is the only contact with that issue. The contact is an AT&T contact, all other AT&T contacts work fine. I've removed the contact, reset the phone with battery removed, made new contact and still the same. It's almost like the number/name is cursed. This "cursed contact" comes through handcent on my wife's phone just fine.

But the mobile data option doesn't seem to affect my mobile network toggle. I am guessing this app was meant for other androids. I believe the app Quick Settings added the [disabled] to the APN file when I attempted to use the Mobile Data Switch. See below. Now Quick Settings Says "No APN Configured". I've emailed the dev. If so, I will remove the [disabled] to restore the file to its original state. Everything seemed to be working fine despite the [disabled] setting though, but I didn't test MMS. Current (modified by Quick Settings?) APN File from my Verizon HTC Droid Incredible:

I used APN Backup & Restore to save the file to the SDCard so I could view and edit the file using a text editor (such as notepad) in windows. You can get APN Backup & Restore on the market for free.
Since upgrading to ICS I seem to have lost the settings option (the 3 vertically aligned dots). Neither do I have the quick controls appearing. It is most noticeable in the browser since the ability to add bookmarks, reload a page, move to prev or next page etc//Other applications may also be suffering from this defect, but it hasn't bothered me (yet).

I can't access my quick setting tiles as the icon is missing from the notification pulldown and my lock screen doesn't work no matter what security I put. If I flash the full gapps they work. What dependencies am I missing?

I'm trying to set up a shortcut to open the JB quick settings window (the one you get by swiping the corner of the status bar, or swiping with two fingers, depending on your preference), and I can't seem to find a command for it anywhere. Not in Tasker, not in the Activities list, and no widget in the Play store that opens it with a tap. Oddly, I can use the Nova Launcher "Nova Actions" menu to create an "expand quick settings" button, but it can only sit on the home screen, while I want to add a button to my quick launch. If I could just create a widget or shortcut that toggles that button it'd work fine, but I can't find the functionality anywhere.
I'm running CM10.1.
Is there any way to remove built-in "quick text" items from handcent? There are about 20 phrases that I will never ever use, and my additions way way down at the bottom of the list

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust downloaded Handcent and the settings that I want on it are not saving. For example I want vibrate only when phone is in vibrate mode. That is not working at all. I also disabled notifications in the notification bar and I'm still getting them. Don't know if being on a custom rom (omj) would affect any of this. Pretty annoying though and was wanting to know if anyone else is having this sort of problem. I also rebooted the phone and no dice still.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI plugged my phone into my laptop to charge, which I normally do. While it was charging, I decided to take a look at some files I had saved on the phone/microSD. However, when I went to the notification bar to change the USB connection setting, there was nothing there to change! I even went into Settings>Connect to PC and changed the setting to "Disk Drive", exited settings, unplugged the phone, and replugged it in, still nothing. The phone IS charging, but the computer doesn't recognize it. I even uninstalled the driver, hoping it would force the driver to be reinstalled by plugging the phone in again but still nothing. I tried different USB ports!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just purchased this awesome phone a few days ago, and while searching the forums on how to disable the word prediction, alot of people suggest to go to the Touch Input settings in the phone, but whenever I go to Settings -> Language & Keyboard, the only choice I have is to Select Locale, which in turn gives me a list of the locale, so I choose the Locale then it just returns me to the Language & Keyboard settings screen which only has the Select locale option. So I can't find the Touch input settings to try and disable the word prediction.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the missing sync from the market on Friday morning. I had to reset my handset because of the default settings of facebook doubled my contacts. Since setting the option of not to sync them doesn't take them away, I had to do a hard reset to get them out. I've downloaded most of my apps again, except Missing Sync. I can find it via the computer, but when I try to find it and download via either appbrain or directly from the market either I can't find it or it will not allow me to install the app with the following error - There are no matches in Android Market for the search:
