Android :: Make A Wizard Like Application In Droid

Which you think is the best way of doing a wizard like application (user can navigate between screens with a next and back button, and each screen has to save some state data) in Android platform.
I mainly can think in two approaches:
Having one activity+view for each screen and then i make the screen switch by calling each activity. What make this nice is that i can use the system back button as my back handler and i don't have to take care of that myself, aslo each activity will save it's own state.
Having one activity and many views, and what i switch views in each screen change, this helps me re-use more code, but makes saving states a mess.
What do you think? Which is the best way of doing this on Android?

i had a factory reset on my phone. But it keep stuck in activation wizard with an error, "The application setup wizard has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" . I can't bypassed the activation wizard and stuck there till now. Is there any stock ROM for this phone?

I am trying to make a folder lock application for android platform.It basically involves asking the user a pre-set password when he clicks on a specified folder.Sir I am not getting any clue regarding how to get the event generated by operating system when the user opens the folder.Or if there is any such event generated at all.

Well one of those things are a lie. The wizard might have started and I exited it by accident, as I turned on and off the phone after first start. I have done some form of reset by dialing *2767*3855# but I have not been able to do the factory reset by pressing the power button while holding the volume down button. It just won't work.You will find a duplicate thread on the SGS group in these forums, If you answer here please ignore it.

I own rooted HTC Wildfire S. I had CM7.2 and it was great, i had no problems with it at all. I decided to install CM9, which should be better, but it won't work... The problem is: The CM9 logo shines at the start, but when i try to Touch the Android to begin, the table appears with "Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped.". What should i do? I tried to Wipe cache, wipe dalvik, Factory reset, nothing worked.

When you flash any custom ROM, sometimes there is a problem with setup wizard! When you choose any language in Setup wizard it gives "Unfortunately setup wizard has stopped" when you press OK, problem comes again?
When you are in Setup wizard don't touch anything! Then one after another clockwise since the left top corner, press the most top left corner, then the most top right corner, then the bottom right corner, and at the end the bottom left corner!

Ok so I rooted my LG Optimus F6 yesterday, I used root uninstaller to get rid of stock apps but by accident or careless I must have deleted LG setup wizard.. I later on that day Master Reset the phone and Now I can't get my phone to load up.. It turns on and brings me to LG setup wizard but says it unexpectedly stopped, I've tried hard resetting and I've went into safe mode and it brings up the message at the home screen, Home screen has unexpectedly stopped. Is there anything I can do to restore my phone back or somehow download setup wizard and install on to my phone from the PC. Also my PC isn't recognizing my phone so I can't even get into the files from the PC..

Got my desire yesterday, having defected from Windows Mobile and spent all yesterday and today getting very frustrated! I successfully set up my various email accounts - except one which requires a SSL outgoing SMTP server on port 465. When I put the correct settings into the setup wizard it simply fails to complete the account setup. If I change any of the fields to an incorrect parameter, it gives an error but at least lets me save the settings and exit the wizard.
With the correct settings in place - it communicates with the server stating: "Verifying account information" and then promptly does nothing (it doesn't hang up, it just returns to the SMTP screen). The only way I can get out of the wizard is to enter an incorrect setting. This means that whilst receiving emails on this account is no problem, I am unable to reply to them or send any emails from this account. I know there is nothing wrong with my ISP (T-mobile uk) because I am using the same SIM from my Touch-pro where this account worked fine for the previous 18 months.

I have a paid application, that I recently published.
For one reason or another, I didn't make a backup copy of the key signature.
After fixing some bugs, I tried to sign the application again as an update, through Eclipse's export as a signed app wizard.
On the screen where the alias is usually selected, i get a message saying "Invalid Keystore Format."
My real issue is how to handle publishing the update as a new, separate application, with regard to the users who have already purchased the application.
Would I issue refunds for the original purchase for users that purchase the new, separate application?

i have an HTC Incredible. when i was using a Moto Droid i was using GDE with it. one thing i really liked from GDE was the scrolling application dock widgets. i would simply use GDE on my Inc but i do also like sense and all of the sense widgets. it would be great if somebody, or even the maker of GDE would make an app that is just like the application dock from GDE that would work on any launcher including sense.i've looked at Ultimate Faves and it's nothing like it. there was something kinda similar that i had tried but it wasn't close enough. it had buttons instead of just dragging and scrolling.

Hello, I would like to create a zip file from files located on the sd card, I have managed to do that using java but I think that the result is too slow, so I thought of going native using the android NDK.
My questions are:
Does anyone know any C/C++ library to zip unzip files that will work on android?
How to know if the library will work on android?
will this make any difference on performance?

I have attempted to make Handcent my Default SMS by following instructions found on various forums. I went to Messages-Menu-Setting and removed all the checkmarks next to any item listing notifications. I then enabled notifications on the Handcent by following the same steps. This does not seem to work. I still have the default stock SMS. Can someone walk me through how to set it up?

I'm trying to create a "registration on my application" activity with only the user having to insert his name and email.
I want to add this values to my server database. Which is already working fine, The user inserts the name and email and android sends a http request to a php on my server and the php inserts this values in the database.
The thing is.. I'd like this to happen only once and by this I mean if the user has registed with that cellphone the device would remember it and just go to another activity but keeping thoose 2 values available to use.
Is this possible to do? Maybe my application access the device preferences or something like that.. or should I build besides a register, a login page for the user to login and make the validation on the server side?
Anyone has any tutorial on this or something to get me started?

im try to make apps about information of a city. On the picture has many menu (you can see menu "info 1", "info 2", "info 3"....). in the plan, i will make thats app with Android SQLite, so for each info menu can display an information from sqlite database (read data from SQLite database).
