I have a html file local and it is having a link to mail me when i try to open that html file on mozilla firefox it is working fine but when load this html file on web view in android and try to open link of mail it says unsupported action.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI went to the same site via phone,computer, and Ipad...and my ipad in the chrome browser opened it up in a new tab preferred method. On computer using chrome opened in same tab which is ok. But my phone (moto x) just downloaded it. Even if i hold the link for menu, and click open in new tab. it opened a new tab Still just downloads and closes the new tab out. I also tried chrome beta with no luck. My phone doesn't tell me how to open it or what i needed to do next to see it after its downloaded either. (not intuitive enough) Finally saw in notification and clicked there to get a list of apps, which the browser is not listed. This PDF isn't something that I want to keep i just want to view it. and then close the page /tab and be on my way.
Lastly it downloads this file to my phone. How does one find where it put the bogus file that i didn't want to save in the first place, so i can delete it?

I have a 64gb MicroSD card installed, and put a copy of my photography website on it. I find I am unable to figure out a way to open it in Google Chrome.
I used ES File Explorer's FTP function to begin with, to copy files from my website to the card, and this worked beautifully. When I click on the index.html file on the card, the only options offered are HTML Viewer and some text editors. Chrome is not an option (Chrome is the default browser for my phone). I can try "Open as" and choose Chrome, but get the same error message as below.
If I long-press the file, and select Properties, I can copy the (full) Path for the file, but when I paste this into Chrome's URL bar, it won't open:

I have searched quite a bit, and tried various addresses, including localhost, localhost/mnt, content:, etc., etc., but nothing seems to work.
Ultimately I want to have a Bookmark in Chrome where I can view my website offline when necessary, but this seems to be more complex than would appear necessary.
