Jan 6, 2010Although my computer can Charge my phone and recognize its connected. It cannot read it without a driver. I am ready to return it for a blackberry!

Jul 16, 2010My computer doesn't recognize my X when I plug it in. It runs the Found New Hardware wizard, but doesn't find the correct driver on the Internet. Any ideas on how I can get my computer to recognize the X and its SD card?

So I get the 16GB card and my computer suddenly doesn't even 'recognize' that there's a device connected. WTF, So, not very computer savvy, I figure it must be the computer because the card seems fine in the phone?

May 27, 2010In case anyone else is having problems getting their Incredible to connect, the easiest way I found to install the USB drivers are with the HTC sync program here:
http://member.america.htc.com/download/Driver/DROID_INCREDIBLE_Verizon/HTC_Sync_2.0.33.exe
The google SDK driver doesn't yet work with the Incredible, and though it can be hacked - this download might be easier for some.

However, when using my new Nexus One instead - and making sure that 'Use Debugging' is enabled - the Nexus One is not recognized and debugging on this phone is not possible.
Usig the Nexus One as a removable-drive (by mounting it) works fine.
How can I start using the Nexus one as a development device (on Eclipse)?

Feb 25, 2010A few weeks ago, a friend and I went through the process of making my Behold 2 think it's a Galaxy (thanks to all who made that possible!). Now, after having played with it for a while and the lack of vibration annoying me, I've decided to try to use Odin to revert to the standard Behold 2 ROM.This is where my problem comes in: I am unable to get any USB Driver for the phone to work. In USB Debugging, out of debug, in download, or any other way I can think of. The phone just doesn't seem to want to connect. When not in USB debugging mode, I can get my computer to recognize the SD card and access files, and it'll charge, but, I can't get any other USB functions to work.
I'm not sure if this is a driver issue or if this is an issue with the phone itself.I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64bit.Could someone walk me through troubleshooting this?

The Remotecall app in Playstore still requires me to pick up my phone in order to actually hear something..
its got all the other features i'd like to use: answer calls from my PC, make calls from pc (from , for example, the outlook contactlist), call Log capability; but i have to pick up my phone when i probably can just hear it through my headphone (connected to PC)
I think i should be looking for some sort of voip server on my phone and let my computer act as voip client, but i'm not entirely sure about that.

Oct 6, 2010I keep having this minor problem when usin msn talk on my galaxy s, nothing really big but anyhow. When I log in with my phone it changes my display name to something that I can change on my phone, but because I can't get any really special characters to work (well actually just one, D with a stroke) I can't get the same name on my phone as my normal msn on computer has. Okay well I could live with that, but when I log off from my phone it doesn't revert the change but it changes the display name on my computer's msn too! It gets really annoying to change my display name every single time I log in with my computer. And it does the exact same thing with my personal message. So the question is, can this be prevented in any way? ps: does anyone know how I can get that stock sms app to mark every sms as "read" when I've responded?
