Does anyone know how to add a scan barcode button to a webpage like google has in the shopping page? I am wanting to allow my clients using a droid phone to press the button scan a barcode and post the data back into my webpage.

I'm looking for a shopping list that will add an item when I scan a barcode, or enter it in manually, then assign a quantity.. That's really all I'm looking for. I tried Price Book from the market, but all the info it wanted in addition to the barcode was a little overwhelming (unless I missed something about it). Any suggestions?

It seems Barcode Scanner also scans QR codes and Shopper doesn't, so is there anything Shopper does that BS doesn't do?I also already have the Amazon app, which can scan barcodes (but maybe just finds them only on Amazon?) and Goggles, which seems to do a Google search for them. Basically, I'm wondering what the best barcode scanner app is without having to juggle four different ones.
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust got my droid incredible tonight and when trying to use the barcode scanner app it keeps trying to focus and just as it is about to lock in on the bar code, it goes out of focus and back in focus again... and repeats over and over.I tried cleaning the glass but it is pretty darn clean. Anyone else having this issue? Any thoughts?

Sometimes it's takes quite a while to load the page, and in these cases I want to be able to use the built in back button on the phone to cancel the loading and go back to my application. How do I do this? Is there some way I can listen to the back button while loading the URL?

The button will be in the center of the screen and I want to be able to press and drag it horizontally to one end of the screen while I am dragging my button I can see my current activity page moving. I have tried many (most? all?) of the free apps that I can find in the Market, but none seem to really do everything I want. I'm willing to buy an app, but I'm not willing to buy one without knowing that it has the features I want. For instance, I've hard Grocery King is great, and I'm more than willing to spend to use it, but I'm not willing to just spend to try it without knowing that it at least does what I want it to do.

I was waiting for Passion for months after reading posts here, literally coming here every day for rumor confirmed, but you all know that's history now. In the stock browser I can turn page by flicking finger on the screen, but isn't using hardware rocker much more precise? Is there a way to do that? In dolphin the rocker sort of does that, but it makes an annoying beep as well. I can turn off sound beforehand to avoid that, but it's easy to forget to turn up sound afterwards. I migrated from HTC 6800 (WM6), the rocker smartly only changes volume when using the phone, while in other situations it smartly turns page instead. Can Droid be up to that?

For example, if I'm dying for a cup of coffee and search for Starbucks, it would map out the nearest starbucks stores and I could pick one and maybe head for it with navigation. I have been using Maps but think it's too nonspecific -- if I type Starbucks it will list all stores in the country; if I type in the nearest city it will give me a list of stores but not do it visually on a map. Apologies if this is too basic a question. Today I was driving around in a county not too close to home, and needed a party supply store, but couldn't find one using my phone. I searched "party store" after mapping my location, and it came up with a list of motels/Comfort Inns about 20 miles away.

I tried the latitude app that came with the DX, but its accuracy isn't so hot.
Is there an app that wll show you how far another phone is, and what direction?
(Latitude said that I was 1/2 mile away, when in fact I was standing right next to her.)
The spoken directions for her to get to me were a hoot though!
I do not have a refresh button on my htc hero default web browser. A lot of people are stating it is on "menu" then the bottom left button but my bottom left button is "bookmarks" and no option to refresh page.

Is there a way I can fix this issue? I have purchased numerous things using my Google Apps account and all the information is current.
I did a number of searches regarding this issue, but either the question goes unanswered or the response is "just create another Google account to buy the app". I would rather not have to create another account just for this. If anyone knows how to correct this, please let me know.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was using an LG Lucid up until a couple days ago, and for a while now it stated trying to open up "goolgle" as the default page when opening the browser. I figured it was just the phone acting retarded since it was rooted and romed and it's been randomly restarting a lot too, so who knows...
So I bought a Galaxy Nexus second hand and it works great. But ever since I signed into my Google account with it it's started doing the same freaking thing! Opens up "goolgle" when I open the browser.
