Samsung Moment :: Flan Gallery Display?
May 4, 2010I have notice people mention that those using the Flan Gallery have some issues with the pictures displaying on the menu grid. I have found that by renaming the fils to end with .jpg it makes them show up with no issues. I previously had blank squares until I selected the photo.

Note: To install this you must have the Amon recovery image installed. Place the .zip file in your sdcard root, reboot into recovery, flash dalvik and data, then flash the rom from the sdcard. Note2: Sense is enabled by default. To use all the features, disable Sense and use Home. Warning: Most live wallpapers and the Flan gallery DO NOT WORK with the Nexus Launcher, so if you choose to use the Nexus Launcher over Home, don't use Live Wallpapers or Flan. Also, the Galaxy wallpaper doesn't work at all. Some of the live wallpapers will disappear after the phone locks as well. Like I said, this is just a BETA TEST rom to give ya'll a taste of stuff to come. I won't be offering support for it, so don't use it unless you somewhat know what you're doing, and just want to play around with stuff.
HTC EVO 4G :: Option For Messaging Is Missing In Froyo 3D Gallery
Aug 16, 2010Has anyone noticed the option for messaging is missing in the Froyo 3D gallery. All the other sharing options are there accept for messaging. Of course I would rather use the 3D gallery instead of stock. Any suggestions.

***IF YOU HAVE 3D GALLERY FROM MARKET ALREADY INSTALLED, UNINSTALL FIRST*** 10x9.com/xh. Installed straight from sdcard and it runs perfectly, and boy is that pinch preview feature fun. I believe since it runs off the sdcard it loads gallery pictures faster, or at least appears to do so on my end. Runs perfect on my Droid X so I thought i'd post it here.
Sprint HTC Hero : Can I Create Lockscreens (Flan , Eclair , Iphone)?
Apr 22, 2010I am currently running Fresh 2.0d and i'm starting to love it. I was previously flashed with Fresh 1.1 and was using LockBot, but when i tried it with Fresh 2.0d i started have some issues, so.... is there any way to create lockscreens that are like the ones that are lockbot? (i.e. Flan, Eclar, Iphone)
I know in the [Guide] Creating Custom Lockscreens there's discussions about adding a tutorial for 2.1 roms, but nothing yet.
HTC Eris :: Kaos Froyo V30 / Replacement For Gallery Application?
Aug 19, 2010Giving it a second shot. So far its been ok. Took a half hour and 4 reboots before I got it stable. That does not include the 2 reboots it did by itself. Also Anyone have a suggestion for a replacement for the gallery app in 2.2. It is really slow and sucks. It is visually pleasing but I want to set a wallpaper quickly and not wait 5 min for it cache all my images. At this point however I do see myself going back to xtr... just no comparison speed wise but I am going to give it a few days solid testing.

Sep 2, 2010I love this app. only thing that bugs me is that it's pulling almost everything i think that's an image file on my sd card... It's pulling my mp3 tags and that causes the app to slowly load them in. i tried putting a file named .nomedia on the root of my music folder, but that prevents the music app from loading the music. does anyone know a way around this?

Nov 29, 2010Since I updated to Froyo when the official one was released for the UK my Gallery has been almost useless, it now sorts photos based on where they were taken which I don't want and it doesn't show any new photos/videos I take, possibly because the phone saves them to the external SD card now instead of the internal one. Is there anyway to fix this? I've looked everywhere for some gallery settings but I can't find anything, to change the sorting etc.. Or can anyone recommend a half decent gallery app? I just want something that shows the recent photos I've taken...

Samsung Vibrant :: Gallery Download Folder Preview Picture Glitch
Aug 3, 2010I have downloaded a picture attachment from my Gmail that is an 'unwanted picture' which I opened when I went to Gallery/Download folder.It is currently the default preview picture now for the Download folder. I've already deleted this picture from the Download folder, but anytime I download a new picture attachment, it still uses the 'unwanted' pic as the folder preview.I've even tried manually deleting the Download folder using AstroFile Manager.Everything I've tried doesn't seem to work.I desperately need help because currently I'm not able to download any picture from my Gmail account without that stupid picture showing up as the preview for the Download folder.

Sep 1, 2010I just manually updated to 2.2 (successfully) but I started to panic when I couldn't find the camera shots category in the new gallery app. I mounted the phone to my computer and found the photos on my phones internal memory, so they're all safe, but I still cant view them on my phone. Also, whenever I take a picture and try to go back to review it later, I get a "no photos found" error, and the new photo doesn't show up in the directory of the previously "lost" photos from prior to the update. It's safe to say that I'm utterly bamboozled. Anyone else experiencing this issue or know how to fix it?

Aug 19, 2010I just updated to 2.2 froyo yesterday and now when I try to download any app it starts and goes straight to saying download unsuccessful! Is this an issue with 2.2? What can I do to resolve this? It sucks a little extra because I just uninstalled my launcherpro plus because it was being glitchy with 2.2 and as I went to reinstall it like the dev told me to I found out I could no longer download apps. I can't even navigate the orginal home screen because of how use to launcherproI was.

Feb 6, 2009I'm trying to set the selection of a Gallery in code. I would like to have the Gallery smoothly roll down a few items over the duration of a second or two. At frist glance, it appears that two members would to the trick:Gallery.setAnimationDuration(int animationDurationMillis); Gallery.setSelection(int position, boolean animate); It turns out that the setAnimationDuration only seems to affect the rubber-bandy "return-to-center" effect of the Gallery. In other words, when a gallery comes to rest after a fling, and a gallery item is off center, the animationDurationMillis is used to control the duration of the Gallery centering up the item. However, the value seems to have no effect on the setSelection. No matter what value is set with setAnimationDuration, the Gallery seems to render about 2 or 3 frames when flying between items 1 and 10 for example. Is this working as designed? Does anyone know a trick or workaround that would let me properly animate setSelection? I'd be especially grateful if we could do it with an "Ease Out" effect.

Sep 22, 2009I want to be able to download and install my app from my website, but when i do this at the moment i get the error:-
Download unsuccessful - Cannot Download. The content is not supported on the phone.
After looking into this it became apparent that the PHP Magic, that handles the downloads from the website, recognises the file as a .zip file rather then a .apk file and sends the it a .zip, that the phone does not recognise.
Does anyone know a way to get PHP Magic to recognise the file as an apk so that file extension does not get changed and the phone can recognise it?
