I'm using xp64 bit and it tells me my operating system is not adequate
on windows 7 i get it to install, but it won't recognize my phone
I've tried downloading different versions and it does the same thing

I installed an app through HTC Sync Application Install.
How do I go about removing it? It's not in "my downloads" in the market. I guess because I didn't download it through the market. any ideas?

I can't install the Sync software to my pc. I keep getting this error "The Generic Device Manager Executable has encountered an error and install cannot continue.
I have tried to un-install and reinstall several times and even downloaded from HTC support and same thing happens, so I am assuming it has something to do with my pc.
The pc has reconized the phone and actually the HTC window pops up but I can't click on the Syncronize Now or on the HTC Sync, and on the right side bottom of that window it shows phone as disconnected.
I am running Window XP and don't know if this matters, but I am also running IE 8.
is there a guide on how to install 2.1 on sprint hero? i already rooted the phone, is there anything that i need to do before i flash to 2.1?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI hate the lock screen on the Hero, I know their is a way to turn it off, but i don't like getting a message and then the phone doing something in my pocket. Is their a way to extract the .apk of the lock screen from the droid, and just install it on the hero, I understand that the resolution on the hero is different, but hate the current lock screen, i have to slide it down 2-3 times for it to recognize. I downloaded lock 2.0 already on the market, its not bad. but it takes 3-4 seconds on my phone to actually give me the slide to unlock screen.

View 7 Replies View Relateda little background info, rooted my first hero no problem using fresh kitchen, but ended up bricking my phone. got my new hero today from sprint, came home connected it up to 2 different computers to try and root it but in both cases both htc sync and kitchen dont see my phone, but i can run the tests in kitchen and see my sd card if i mount it.my build number is 1.56.651.2 cl85027 release-key and it says my hardware version is 002 if that helps.

This was one of my favorite apps and now its like it never existed? Does anybody else not see calorie counter when they search for it? View 19 Replies View RelatedEver since I flashed to this ROM, I haven't been able to sync none of my contacts through the People app even though it says "all contacts synced" within Accounts & Sync. When I try to match a contact with their facebook account, "no matches" show and I don't even have a list of who I can choose.
Does this have something to do with the PRL not being 60663? Mines says 60662. I've tried every solution that was said in the forums. Delete then restart then readd the account. Still nothing.
Should I just reflash? I don't want to but my contacts look so boring without their pictures and statuses
Is seems like only contacts I have saved in my Google contacts are being linked. I thought The Hero would sync all information from my Facebook contacts. So even if I have not saved them I would be able to access their information on my phone, similarly to Palm's Synergy. Am I doing something wrong or is this the way it works?

Anyone else having this problem and i have hard reset and checked all settings for data sync. I have not seen this problem so i am thinking it a software problem. I just want to know if anyone has setup using gmail and is getting mail pushed to them right away. Also i know its not push mail but it suppose to come kinda close.

I have Windows 7 64Bit and have downloaded and installed the latest sync as well as drivers and followed all the instructions I could find and it shows up in devices just fine but still just shows me as disconnected on HTCSync and in the sync settings on the phone.
