Is there any way to get an app from another persons phone?
when my husband i got our phones back in the beginning of february, skype was available on the market. we both took our moments back and got hero's closer to the end of february. now skype is no where to be found on the market. is there a way to get skype from someone else's phone?

I just got an x10 and I'm very excited about what I've been able to do so far but dialing out takes 3-5 button presses and some searching for the names of the person I'm looking for.is there an app or other way to get a phone call off to a specific persons number. I'm hoping there may exist some way I can just start typing a name and click "call" like I would on the blackberry.

I've just tried:
Settings | Applications | Manage Apps
And noticed there's not always an option to Uninstall on these and some others.
Is it possible to remove, delete, uninstall, or get them off the device?
Is there any way to remove the pre-installed Sprint programs?

Sprint-Nextel
NFL
Nascar
Are there some "core apps" or "core programs" that can't be removed?
A brief search on this matter on related threads seems to indicate only on "rooted" phones.
This is probably the wrong place to ask this, but has anyone come across any GOOD tutorials for making android apps? I have app inventor, but I want to make an app for the market.

If I happen to be in front of the phone, I can see the screen change showing an incoming call.If I am listening to Pandora Radio, when the phone rings, Pandora stops, but the phone never rings.If I am not near or looking at the phone this results in missing the call.If I shut off the phone and re-boot it appears to ring fine, but at some point later in the day or week it will quit ringing.I normally never turn off the phone. Should I start to re-boot every day?

And also, some things to think about: remember that the Hero only runs class 2 speeds, even if the card is class 6. Do you think this will change once we receive Android 2.1? Because if not, I would imagine that the phone would be slow opening apps (assuming apps to SD will be available).I know that if they do program the Hero to allow class 6 speeds, and allow apps to SD (without root) then the Hero could run MUCH faster than it does now.

The only tome I had any frustrations was getting the clips unhooked also removing the cracked piece from the super strong adhesive. It's wonderful to have the opportunity to try and use so many useful/entertaining bits of software. However I also recognise that money makes the world go round and in order to support developers then those that can afford to make the contribution should do the honorable thing.I'm just about to receive my first paycheque since the christmas holidays and I think its about time to upgrade to the paying version or donate to the developer of various apps that I've been using for about a month.So here's my list of apps which I'm going to be giving my hard earned money to.Robotic Guitarist - guitar app 0.99 Euro Solo - another guitar app 1.50 music online - music $7.99. There's a couple more that I'd have liked to donate to, but doesn't seem very easy at the moment. Perhaps there should be something in the settings menu for most applications which automatically links to a place for users to donate.
