So I just flashed Darchdroid 2.7 and every time I try to open the calendar it says "The process com.android.calendar has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." Anyone know of a way to help me fix this?

Has anyone been having this trouble lately? I've tried clearing out old messages and clearing the cache but yet it still force closes on almost every picture while resizing it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've tried searching for a thread to help me with this and can't seem to find one. My mms will not download to my phone. The messages come through but will not finish downloading or open. I have uninstalled handcent which I thought may have been a problem and it corrected it for 1 mms then I am back to square 1. My internal memory has 87mb left and I've deleted all apps I don't use.
I have tried deleting all messages in the phone by batch mode and it either freezes up or gives me force close to what looks like the mms program. I am trying to avoid a hard reset because we all know how much of a pain to reinstall everything is. I am starting to get really fed up with the phone because for the money I paid, I expect much better. As much as I dislike Apple products, I can see why people rave about their products - they don't have these problems. (*sssshhh don't tell Apple fanboys I said that)

Today it has done that about 4 times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Handcent, as well as power cycled the phone, but it is still acting up.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI've been using Fresh 2.3.3, and everything is working great. However, Wireless Tether won't start. Whenever I use it - it force closes. This is actually the first time I think I've tried it. I don't remember ever using it on the earlier version of Fresh rom I had.
This only seems to happen when trying to connect through bluetooth. I can start the program, access the menu and settings and all of that - but as soon as I press on the big green wi-fi icon to start tethering - it force closes. The USB mode seems to work fine... but I need to use bluetooth mode.
On my hero, nearly every time I try to create or edit a calendar event, I get the following force close pop up: It is getting very aggravating and no matter how many times I do a battery pull, it still happens. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it, but I use a program called spanning sync to sync my mac iCal program with my gmail which in-turn syncs to my hero.

(unuseable) so how can I get rid of Setcpu and go back to default clocks? its running too slow to get into RootExplorer. I know how to push an apk thru adb but have never deleted one. is that what I have to do? Is there a link explaining how to do this?> and can I do it with the phone in recovery?

View 2 Replies View Relatedwhere my calendar would force close several times a day (when syncing). I finally found a solution. I had installed android agenda widget a while back and that was causing the problem. I uninstalled it today, but the problem wasn't fixed until I cleared out the data in my calendar (menu, settings, manage applications, then click on com.android.providers.calendar and clear out the data) and re synced it with google. Just in case you are wondering, I then reinstalled android agenda widget and the problem returned. Uninstalled it again, recleared my data and now it syncs perfectly to my google account.

1. To properly close an app so it doesn't run in the background, you need to back out of it.
2. To properly close an app so it doesn't run in the background, you need to hit your home button.
3. To properly close an app so it doesn't run in the background, you need to go into task manager and just kill it.
All I want to do, is exit the app and have it NOT running in the background.
I'm on Orange and have the new ROM. Ever since it was installed I am getting force close errors on the Calendar service when I try and run the Android calendar. I get the error when I clock the calendar icon and then it is OK when I try a second time. I use Quick Calendar as well to provide a widget with next 2 appointments on - sometimes this report calendat service not found. All my appointments are synced from Outlook (not Exchange). Anyone else getting these force closes?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got a htc hero (which I absolutely love), it's an unlocked phone (Belgium doesn't allow carriers to couple phones with subscriptions). Despite working fantastically, one thing has been bothering me which I can't seem to fix. I've got the standard calendar widget on one of the main screens, but every time it syncs or tries to update, it force closes itself (htc calendar store com process). I've noticed now that the events added to it on my phone, do not sync to google and vice versa.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHTC Sense keeps force closing on my EVO. I have turned the phone off and back on and the same happens. If I switch to a HTC scene, as opposed to a Custom scene, it works fine for awhile. I had it working almost a whole day, but HTC sense starting force closing again, once it starts, it keeps doing it, until you change HTC scenes again. If you change to a custom scene, the force close continues. I disabled HTC sense. Now I can't turn HTC sense back on, but I don't really want to if I am going to keep having the same issue.
For now I need to know if anyone else is having HTC Sense force close on them, and if there is a fix, or if it is known what is causing it. I will worry about how to turn it back after I find out why it's doing it and can fix it. I did a search for HTC Sense force closes and could not find anything, so I started this thread.
Now my sms keeps force closing. Even if I just have 2 texts. Anyone else have this issue? I don't want a new phone because I have a full skin protector on.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI installed ADW.Launcher 2 times now. But for some reason I'm getting a lot of force closes. Then when I hit the icon at the bottom to display all my apps; that's even messed up sometime. Is anybody else having this issue? I'm thinking that maybe Beatutful widges or Bettercut is the problem but I'm not sure. I really don't want to uninstall all my apps and install them one at time just to find out what's the problem. But that may be my only choice.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe SMS keeps force closing on me on my Droid 41/09. Sometimes two or three times a day. When it force closes, it deletes all threads. It even does it when there is only one thread with a few messages in it. I haven't noticed anything specific that causes the force close to happen, it just happens when it wants to. I removed all downlaoded apps and the problem persists. I am using the default messaging app. Is anyone else experiencing this and has anyone found a solution? I absolutely love this phone and it is my first Android device.
