Suppose you've received a message: "Hey Bobby can you forward me the cell number for Skyler?"In the k850 it was Select the contact and then either select to Copy (and then paste) or Select the Contact and then Send As Message,Can't figure out how to do it in the X8.If I open the Address Book and press the phone number for Skyler - it's starts a call!And what if I wanted to send the entire contact information as part of a message,

I was wondering if the X10 can do the same as my last android Hero, which basically link the facebook info contact to my related phone contact, including the picture. I guess this wont need any hardware, but software. Has this improvement being asked or is it planned for future updates?

How do you copy phone numbers and email addresses etc..from my contacts?I frequently have to do this and so far the only way I can find to do it is to select edit, then it lets me copy.Can this be done?

Liking my new phone and feeling quite happy about the small format.
Though I've found a lack in my or the phones abilities:
How do I attach a contact to a text message or an email?
I'm using Roadsync email
How I do it now is: Navigating to the contact I would like to forward, edit it, mark and copy the phone number, paste it into a text/email, write the name of the contact and press send.
Features I also would like to see in the future:
Have the Roadsync application use the "Full Name" field instead of the "File As" field, when syncing contacts with MS-Exchange.

Anyone know how to copy a url in a block of text then pasting it in the address bar?I tried with the default browser and dolphin and I managed to copy the url but couldn't find a way of pasting into the address bar.Anyone know how to do this? Is there an easy way? Am I just being thick?

I was about to run the SEUS and it told me to back up my phone first. Iknow that i'm going to need to be able to do so when I get ready to flash it to 2.1 so I figured might as well get this figured out. Is there an app that can do this for me or will I need to do so manually?

I have put this on a few threads but it obviously only get read by a few people hopefully this will help backup your contacts in the phonebook, when in the phonebook press the menu key, then more you have the option to backup contacts select that and back them up to your SD Card, you can install them back from here after the update .SE Backup and Restore does seem to lose your contact list after update, it also appears to lose the apps.I found out after a previous update that backup and restore lost my contacts so this time I used the phonebook backup.It stores it as one VCF file, you just import it after update and it puts all contacts back as they were before.I only say it appears to lose the apps as I used it for this backup and there were no apps there but I had them on my SD Card anyway.Use the phonebook backup don't rely on Backup and Restore

how to transfer pictures w/ GPS info to picasa w/o losing or getting the wrong coordinates, any suggestions sony ericsson?How can we transfer our pictures to let say Picasa keeping the GPS location, so far every time I transfer, upload either directly or through my computer to Picasa the GPS location is somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, if I'm in California how does that make sense.

I am not able to copy the photos from mobile to my computer.I have tried reinstalling the PC Companion suite and also have updated to mobile to Android version 2.0.The folder where the photos reside in the mobile is not coming up in the Phone Card Memory,Can any one helpe to sort out this issue? Or Is there ant seetings option which I am overlooking?

I am trying to find where is the call log information: call duration and how many MB I used on mobile internet 3G or GPRS? For me it is important coz mobile internet in our country extremely expensive, so need to have control over how much did I used MB per month.

My X10 changes the contact names itself, e.g. it puts the name of a contact on another and thus creates a lot of confusion when a name shows on screen during an incoming call and when I pick it up, there is someone else on the other side.

Has anyone figured out how to sort the Contacts by Last Name first? They default at sorting by First Name first, but I cannot figure out how to change it. I did make the change in Googles Contact list, but it did not carry over to the X10. Is this another 2.1 fix by chance?

This is silly and I must be missing something! Go to "edit" in contacts, then press on the 'blank' picture, which takes you to the "add picture" window. However, I'm just presented with 8 silhouettes of face graphics as available "pictures" to choose from. No obvious way to go into a folder where my images are stored. So easy on my old Hero; I must be doing something wrong on this X10.

I have an Xperia X10 Mini, and for the first time ever of using a mobile I want to set up a contact group for all the parents of my kids' football team so I can send out a single message to multiple contacts in one easy go. However, I cannot seem to find a way to do this with an X10. On my old Nokia, it was really easy, but having come into the modern world and finally upgraded to a smartphone, I would have thought this would have been a no-brainer! Please, can someone help me!

All my contacts have been transferred to my phone (via backup and restore) and show up in the call log etc. But in my contacts menu it says "No contacts" which is rather inconvenient. Any tips?

I've recently bought this phone and imported all my contacts from my Gmail address book. Every contact has at least one assigned category, and some have multiple categories. I can filter my contacts on the X10 Mini Pro, which greatly assists in finding people, but I can't see any way to add a category tag to a new contact. I've looked at all the manuals I can find, and don't see this point addressed. Lots of information about adding photos and Timescape, but nothing useful.

Have just got my new X10 - all OK except one thing that is frustrating. Is there any way I can get sms text message tone to repeat if I miss one. With other phones, if an sms is not read it repeats the sms tone every minute or so to remind you there is one waiting to be read - cant see any way of doing this on the X10 - anybody know if this is possible and I am just missing it, or is there an app that does it?
